No seasoning to be found Cute vibe, great ingredients, nice staff. Everything is here to make this place a success, but the food isn't seasoned at all If they would just make that tweak, this place would be tip top. I want to support a small business, but there's just so many other restaurants out there with tastier food for the same dollars that I will probably go somewhere else the next time we go out for brunch read more

We waited for over an hour for a table for 4, two of those people being babies. They told us it would be half an hour. Families with young children really can't be waiting for that long. Be up front about a realistic wait time read more

Amazing service . Staff was amazing and super kind . Daniel was the best and got us everything we need and even recommended his favorites . The place was clean and food was the best Recommend the JJ sandwich read more

We had the best waitress. Super nice, science gal who corrected my bf--which I LOVED, btw! . Food was solid. Went with the spinach/egg/avocado Sammie. Bf had the eggs Benedict. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu! read more

Best cup of coffee in the whole State! Service was fast and courteous. Food was hot, delicious and well seasoned. MUST TRY THE STUFFED FRENCH TOAST! It was very yummy! read more

Angel and Bethany were very hospitable and attentive. Great space, very clean and the food was great and was on our table very prompt. Would definitely come back! read more

This is my first time ordering from this restaurant and just based on my walk in (mobile order) this will probably be the last time. I walked in, the 2 girls in the front look absolutely disgusted I'm even there much less talking to them. They direct me to the back area for mobile orders. K. Great. I go, tell them I'm there for my order. They are rushing me and I have to ask if the drink (I know it's not) is in the bag because my boyfriend ordered a drink. So then she looks at the receipt confirms it's on there but asks another person if the drink belongs to the order. Then when that's confirmed, the drink is made and shoved into my hands via drink holder. Before I can ask anything else they're rushing me out. I hope the food is actually good but this was a poor experience and mostly because I didn't look prim proper in my opinion since walking in it's very clear what image they want and I don't fit that image even though I wasn't rude and I was just trying to get my mobile order. read more

Tried this restaurant twice, good decor. First time I had the Denver omelette with home fry's and toast, it was excellent and service was good and coffee cup was refilled timely. Second visit I had the same meal, the service was sub par, did not check for coffee refills. The prices are high for locally sourced ingredients,, but French toast for $18 is not sustainable. The owner introduced himself on our first trip there. My wife had eggs Benedict, but the English muffin was over cooked and it had regular bacon instead of Canadian bacon, she did not like the meal. read more

It was my first time in here.Food was delicious, service was great.I loved the ambiance a lot with my family. We'll come again for sure!

First time & Janet served US she has an amazing character soo sweet she explained everything to me ! & the food was GREAT the prices are amazing as well !! Will definitely return the energy in there is everything read more

We came to celebrate Mother's Day and what a treat!! We had a 20 minute wait but it went quickly. The service was outstanding and the food was incredible. We had the Country omelette, as well as two others and the were all light and fluffy with plenty of fillings. The American Croissant French Toast was delightful! With a light flaky croissant lightly dipped and fresh strawberries, blueberries and bananas and fresh lightly sweetened whip cream with a strawberry drizzle. Rather than being too sweet sweet, it was absolute perfection! Can't wait to come back again! read more

Me and my family came here for breakfast we had many dishes they were all amazing. The service was amazing. Definitely recommend!

We loved the food and atmosphere. We will be back. We loved the food and the service was great. No waiting like at cafe Java.

We were out of town from Virginia with a party of five, and we had the most wonderful experience at Home Kitchen! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. Marie and Mario were an amazing team -- they were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. It's clear that this family-owned business takes great pride in what they do. We absolutely loved the JJ Sandwich and the American French Toast -- both were delicious and packed with flavor! It's rare to find a spot where everything is made with such care and attention to detail. Highly recommend if you're in the area! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town. read more

I was there for the second day of their soft opening. The food was pretty good, and service was okay - servers generally upbeat and helpful, but you could tell there was still some learning/training that needs to happen. I think this will be a nice addition to the local breakfast scene. I'll reserve judgement on the pricing, which seems a tad high, until I try a few more dishes and see how the quality/value shakes out. read more

The food was super bland no flavor. I got the stuffed blueberry French toast. I must say the almonds were a bad Idea and the French toast needed more butter and flavor. I also order a side of the potatoes. They were plain. They should cook them more to have a crisp and don't forget the flavor. I must say please save your money. I wont be back read more

Great experience here! Excellent food and staff were very attentive and friendly. The manager gave us great recommendations to try. I highly recommend eating here. read more

Just tried Home Kitchen for the first time today. I love finding new spots that impress!!! As a Reuben snob from Chicago... Their Ruben was the best I've tried in Texas so far. Meat was tender, bread was crispy, cheese was perfect. Sooooooo good They have a great menu I'm excited to come back and try breakfast! read more

First timers here, dropped by with the family to check out a new spot, always good to hear it's a family ran business, you can see it and feel it. First impression was what we saw, nice open clean space, you could see the server/coffee station which to me was a tell tale sign on how clean and organized this establishment is, loved to see Chef Daniel make guest appearances in FOH and see the involvement and care for his guest and staff. Maxwell was our server, very attentive and great attitude even with all the questions i threw at him, the closer i looked the more i liked. Food was nice and simple but well executed which to me is the most important, great bang for your buck definitely worth a try if you are looking into dining with them. Overall all great atmosphere and service for our first time and very impressed with them being just pass 1 month old, looking foward to go back! Great job guys! read more

We stopped by for breakfast to try something other than the traditional spots. Our waiter was very disappointing. He barely checked on us and we had to flag him down anytime we needed something. I didn't feel welcomed at all, although we detected Christian music was playing in the background. Upon leaving, the cashier barely looked at us. If you are not able to serve a diverse population, do something different! read more

this was our first time here. my wife wanted to surprise me with a breakfast place in the morning and she found home kitchen. it was cute when you first walked in. it was a saturday so of course they were busy, as expected, but the wait wasn't long at all. we got sat and greeted by our server (forgot his name) but he was very knowledgeable and attentive. asked if we had dined in before and we said no and he mentioned the specials they had on the board and explained what they were. i ordered the jj sandwich and my wife got the turkey omelette. food looked really when we got it, but what really wowed me was when i noticed my ham had some blue spots, i stopped the server to ask about it and he without hesitation told me that he will double check with the cooks, no attitude or "that's just how the ham looks". not even a few minutes later the chef/owner comes out and kindly explains to us what kind of ham that is and it's normal for some blue spots (we googled the type of ham they have and it did say that it was normal) but he insisted on making me a new one with the ham steak they have. it was delicious! instead of him making me feel like an idiot and just giving me my sandwich back, he took the time out of a busy saturday morning to make me a new one. that's going above and beyond!! our server was extremely nice to us and not made us feel any less. my wife also loved her omelette! she added mushrooms to it because it didn't come with them and she loved it. we will definitely be back! read more

I tried it out for the 1st time and I absolutely loved this place, Very nice staff , quick service delicious food and spotless! I had a waiter named Joel who was very attentive and had a great friendly demeanor! I definitely will recommend and visit again! read more

Walking into Home Kitchen, I felt the Amazing ambiance of this place. i knew it was going to be a special place. We were sat immediately from the host Mario who was very kind and sweet. He brought us menus and forks and spoons. our server angel came to help us and was amazing. the food came out great and loved it. I order the farmer's skillet and my girlfriend order the stuffed Raspberry French toast. This is a must try. The French toast was made to perfection and was amazing. Our server returned multiped times to check back on us to make sure we were doing great Its an amazing establishment who the owners really know the value of food. Many businesses lack the need for value and core in an establishment but this business meet all standards for me. The Owner came out Multiple times from the kitchen to check on his guest ( An old school thing but to see it still happening is amazing to witness ) . We found out he was the head chef and owner which was amazing to hear. Sometimes you see a head chef and the owner separate but here you have it all at one. Like in Cafe Java, The Owner leaves it all to a head chef to cook and he's only standing their doing nothing for his guest. The complete opposite here at home kitchen. The owner was very pleased to share his background of his restaurant industry experience and more. The owner was super happy to be working and serving his guest with high quality food. Everyone that entered left happy I hope they succeed in the future and continue do what they are doing. I've been here multiple times and haven't complained since. Can't wait to go back and visit for the holiday's! read more

Food was average at best. Had a bit of a laugh cause their "with cheese" option was a Kraft single slapped on top. Drinks were aweful. Couldn't get them replaced because the service was absolutely terrible. Sat down, took our order and then disappeared, didn't come back until he dropped off the check (staff from the kitchen were the ones that dropped off the food). Had to flag a busboy down just to get some syrup. Jason, I think his name was, was too busy talking up the girl waiter behind the bar. Was really sad, too. I was really looking forward to some good stuffed French toast. read more

Good service and a tasty omelette.... Glad I tried them out while working remotely from Round Rock on Friday. I'll be back!

My husband and I tried a new breakfast spot last Sunday, and it was delicious! Our server, Danny, was polite and recommended some of his favorite dishes, I took his advice and he was spot on! The food was so good I almost ordered more. We'll definitely be back! read more

Really good food and huge portions. Service was spot on and the ambiance was exceptional.

2 of us waited for over 30 minutes on a Saturday morning for a table after we were told it would be 15-20 minutes and when I went to ask how much longer it would be I was told 20-30 more minutes. There were 10 empty tables and only 3 other people waiting. We left and went back across to the Waffle House instead. We waited 2 minutes for that place to seat us. Prices looked a little steep at Home Kitchen. We may try it in future but I will be sure to get a reservation. read more

Food was amazing as always. Trying something new everytime our waiter Joel was great.

The owner was the best. He was very welcoming. The food was delicious. Definitely coming back!

The wait was worthwhile. Service and food were great. Great selection. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I think I may have found a new favorite breakfast for lunch spot. This place is so easy to miss, being in the strip mall past the Circle K. The only reason I found it is because I saw it under the "openings" section of the Community Impact newspaper. When I went to their website and saw they had corned beef hash, I had to go! Just had a simple breakfast with eggs over easy, hash, fried potatoes, and toast (I opted for sourdough). Everything was fresh and tasty. Service was prompt. Price was between Waffle House and First Watch (my other go to places), and I didn't feel overstuffed, as I often do at First Watch. Only complaint was they ran out of tea while I was there. The place was pretty busy at 1PM, but only about a 5 minute wait to be seated. I'll definitely be back to try their Reuben! read more

Went to breakfast at Home Kitchen with a friend yesterday. Very cute, clean and well laid out dining area. Our waiter, Manuel, was very pleasant, helpful, and delivered excellent customer service. Both of our breakfast were delicious and my friend especially loved their oatmeal - delicious and full of yummy ingredients. We both took home additional pastry items (cinnamon roll and pistachio muffin) which provided us a treat for breakfast today. Recommend you visit this new restaurant - you won't be disappointed!!! read more

Servers can make or break the experience. I'm not sure what our server's name was but it was just me and one other person - we were stuck there for over an hour because he was so slow to take our order and check in with us. What made it more obvious was the decent server in the section over, getting people their food and getting them out the door so he could turn over more tables. I didn't really want to spend 90 minutes of my day just to get some pancakes. read more
