We stopped in today after my husband found this place online. WOW!! Our entire experience was incredible. It wasn't very busy when we were there so there was plenty of room for our stroller. The AC felt WONDERFUL! The man & woman duo were very friendly and kind. Hubby ordered the tri tip sandwich and I got the BLAT. We split the Polynesian pasta salad and an order of cannolis. I had the sparkling rose and he had a glass of red. Everything was phenomenal... We joked we'd be back at 5 for dinner. We can't wait to make our way back in, and we heard the dinner menu is even more plentiful. 5 stars all the way! read more

Amazing food, ambiance, wine, and staff! Tucked away on Holly St., a few blocks over from Colorado. Old town local vibe. Super chill. I've been trying new restaurants in the area and decided to pop in early on a Fri nite. Got a seat at the counter overlooking the chef preparing all the meals. Ordered a rose, very tasty. Short ribs with mash potatoes. Amazing! I will definitely be back to try more things. Highly recommend. We really don't have anything like this in Pasadena. read more

Literally such a good place. I'm glad I found it. The pasta was... soooo good. I'm tempted to go again this week. Karina the server/floor manager is amazing. The ambiance is so cute and great energy. Take your next date if you want to have killer cacio e Pepe and good conversation. Really special and they should be proud of their work. read more

My wife and I came by on our day date prior to a movie showing. The food was excellent as we shared the duck fat fries that were lovely. I had the chicken tacos and my wife had the steak. Both were a bit! We would come by again as food and service was fantastic! read more

Delicious food and great service! Would recommend this place. Salads were fresh and the flavors were balanced. Servers were responsive and friendly. read more

This place was amazing. I have never enjoyed a sandwich more. There was a perfect balance of flavors. Our server (love her) recommended the Fanatic Chenin Blanc. Amazing wine. Super crisp and refreshing. I also had the Pippin' Straight Up cider which was delicious on this hot summer day. Highly recommend the Tony Soprano and Chicken Bacon Club. The service was impeccable, our server was the sweetest woman ever. There was a slow, enjoy the afternoon vibe. 10 out of 10. We will be here again. read more

Ambiance: it was very bright with glaring lights, music too loud, and big screen television on. Although the chef turned down the lights after a bit, it was still too bright. I had very high hopes, so I suppose whenever we are expecting something, we set ourselves up for disappointment. To be fair, the food was great. But. If I leave a 5 star review, everything must be impeccable. I wanted it to be. It was not. The glaring tv should have been my greatest warning factor. I think perhaps Holy Saints just needs to work out a few kinks, but if vibey atmospheric awesomeness is what you're after, this is not your spot. Honestly not trying to be mean or hurtful but I am being brutally honest. read more

I really like this new wine bar owned by a young couple on Holly St. in Old Pas. It's been open for about two months. They are not doing wine tastings yet but you can buy wine by the bottle or glass. The have a kitchen for charcuterie boards and sandwiches. I really like the Cuban sandwich. Very good service from the owners and the staff. read more

We hired Delta Food Service Management owners, Stephanie and Chef Daniel to cater our wedding in October. From the beginning, Stephanie and Daniel were very responsive and thorough. Stephanie researched the venue before we met to ensure the right equipment was available for them to execute cocktail hour and dinner service. They have several catering options and we needed help deciding. Stephanie and Daniel were super helpful with narrowing it down to 3 main courses. We scheduled a tasting at Holy Saints, and we were impressed by the food - it was all delicious. We watched Daniel prepare each dish while he talked to us about his experience. The food was definitely excellent but were blown away by the professionalism, vibe, and energy this husband and wife team had. We selected them to be the caterer for the most important day of our lives. Both were in communication with us and our coordinator up to the day of the wedding. Stephanie made sure I was comfortable and answered all of my questions. They executed cocktail hour and dinner for 120 people with no issue. Our guests are still talking about the food, the fancy Grazing table, and Chef Daniel's cannolis ( a must-try). My wife and I are both so happy and thankful we picked Delta Food Service. We will also be visiting the restaurant again, for wine and more delicious food! read more

I've been to Holy Saints at least 4x and it never disappoints. The menu which changes often is consistently delicious. The staff is charismatic, friendly, and knowledgeable and the chef is thoughtful with his ingredients and the care with which he prepares the food. One of the steady menu items is the duck fat french fries which I did not take a picture of because I was too excited to eat them and forgot, they have a yummy dipping sauce that goes with them. The Waldorf is also steady and it is not your mama's Waldorf - it is light and refreshing and simple. The chicken was fall off the bone tender as was the pot roast, and the radicchio caesar had a fun little kick to it. The Cacio e Pepe was cooked perfectly not too al dente and not too soft. They have a pasta with red sauce that isn't on the menu right now but if they put it on again order it! The siete fincas Malbec and red blend are fantastic wines. It's so nice to have a fresh new spot to enjoy in Oldtown Pasadena. read more

I don't think I can go to another place for a sandwich again. I had the chicken bacon club. Amazing very much. It made me sad when I finished it because there was no more sandwich. My only mistake there was not take a couple sandwiches to go. Super friendly staff. I really like how this kitchen is open to see them work magic with the food. I will be going back very soon especially for their special fries. read more

Loved this place , food was great and also their customer service .you will definitely enjoy coming

We wanted to try Holy Saints because of the good reviews. But our experience was just so-so. We paid $124 for one salad (which we split), two entrees, a lemonade, tax and tip. The server was friendly. Our main reason for the 3-stars was the long wait for the food. From placing our order, it took 25 minutes to get the Waldorf salad, and another 25 minutes after that to get our entrees. The place is small, but only half full, on a weekday night. So the long wait for food, with not even some bread to nibble on, was excessive, especially since we were quite hungry when we arrived at 7:30 PM. Our other main complaint related to the seasonings or dressing. The Waldorf salad was overdressed, and the lamb entree had too much salt. Better to use less salt and put salt/pepper shakers on the table. The lemonade was also a bit too sweet. read more

Hmm. Came in for dinner, wanting to support new chef spaces here in town. Glad we tried it, but don't think we'll be back. We tried three starters: the grilled sourdough with compound butter, spinach cakes, and tuna crudo, and the sea bass and rice entree. The grilled sourdough was pleasant, although the bread seemed a bit cheap. The compound butter was quite nice. The tuna Crudo was a generous portion, but flavor-wise a little bland, with no citrus or acid to perk it up. There was a pile of cilantro on the plate that didn't make much sense as an accompaniment. The spinach cakes were all right--think of a crabcake, basically, made of chopped spinach--but they were served with a chipotle aïoli poured over them that was very puzzling against the flavors of dill and garlic. The seabass was limp, served skin-on with mushy skin, on a big bowl of rice with huge chunks of sautéed bell pepper and big discs of raw radish, which also did not seem to make any sense with this dish at all. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and it feels like there is potential here-- but some real focus is needed to bring it up. read more

Cubano is no joke. Place is legit...cold beer & outstanding food. I will be back next time I'm in town.

Really enjoyed our experience at Holy Saints. Delicious, elevated menu in an easy-going comfortable environment...we will be back with more of our our friends and family. read more

sandwiches and fries were actually good, but was off putted by how our server clearly did not wash his hands. From handling menus, door handles, his personal phone, sneezing to prepping food ( look like he was separating out greens) at the bar (customer side). We didn't touch our salad but felt ok to eat the other portion of our meal. read more

This place is phenomenal. Everything is great, incredible wines, and wonderful service. The steak and fries is amazing, best cacio e pepe in LA, and the Cubano sandwich is a favorite. Don't sleep on this one! read more

I shop here twice a month and load up on a couple dozen essentials for my family and household. The selection is excellent, we save lots of money, and make purchases that are healthy for our bodies and the environment. Everyone should shop here, and the containers/refill system is now second nature. read more

Nice little homey place with good food and service! We started with the Waldorf salad and beet salad - both were delicious and refreshing! We also had the spinach griddle cake that was ok; it was a bit overly seasoned for our taste but did enjoy the spinach flavors with a kick to the sauce. The duck was perfectly cooked with a nice char and wonderful kumquat sauce. The polenta had a wonderful nuttiness to it. Our server, Karina, was a sweet and honest server! She was spot on with her recommendations and a breath of fresh air! We look forward to our next visit to try some other dishes! read more

Heard great things about this spot. We decided to hit it up and order The Cubano Sándwich and Grilled chicken tacos. We were also dying to try their Duck fat fries. WOW!! The drinks and dishes not only TASTED amazing but we loved the Presentation. Our waiter Karina was also very attentive and made us feel incredibly welcome. Daniel (Chef) was also very friendly and gave us a good recommendation for next time we dine here. Overall, I was VERY HAPPY with the service and our meal. read more

Great small restaurant. Lovely owners and delicious food. Will definitely be back soon.

Food is so good, and prepared right in front of you. The service is a little slow, but our waitress was phenomenally polite and had a great energy about her. The ambiance is very laid back, but elegant. Great wine list! read more

I went to this cute restaurant on my birthday on June 22 per recommendation by a family member who thought the menu looked delicious. I still think about the food to this day and deeply regret not having gone back before leaving California. I dined by myself at the counter and thoroughly enjoyed seeing this amazing husband and wife duo cook as a team right in front of me. The waiter on staff that evening was above and beyond polite and refrigerated the leftovers of my appetizer for me so that they would stay fresh as I continued my meal. I ordered the beet salad, lamb chops, and strawberry shortcake. The beet salad was earthy yet so fresh tasting with a great acidity level. The lamb was decadent -- legitimately the best lamb I have ever had. I am a small person yet I finished my entire plate and tried to get all the meat possible off the bone. The strawberry shortcake came with a delicious biscuit and a generous serving of strawberries. It was not overly sweet, yet minty fresh. It was exciting to have a dessert with such tang. Everyone was so kind and I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday dinner. This restaurant deserves more business and the prices are set fairly for the very high quality of food. If I come back to Pasadena, I will definitely dine here again. read more

Stopped by on a whim looking for something to eat and can confidently say I've found a hidden gem. The interior is very clean and pleasing to the eye: Proper silverware layout, comfortable chairs, etc. Aside from all the physical aspects of the restaurant; the service was also incredible. Staff was very kind, attentive, respectful, always made sure to refill my cup and asked if anything else was needed. The food was 10/10 too. Well worth the price and filled with flavour at every bite. Definitely one of the better restaurants in Pasadena read more

Small intimate setting. Food was great! There were four of us and each of us enjoyed our food very much.

The service is outstanding and the food is amazing! The wine and beer on tap are perfect if you're wanting to enjoy a glass of beer or wine while eating delicious cuisine! Chef Daniel Torres is a master of his craft and has the most delicious dishes and paired up with the perfect top of the line wines! I definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to dine in Pasadena for lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed! read more

Upon walking I for lunch, we were greeted by the owner and staff. They were very friendly. They accommodated my family of 4 (2 children one with a stroller who was napping). My son is a very picky eater, but Daniel the chef was able to create a special meal for our little one. My son loved the kids charcuterie, so much he asked for seconds and insisted we come back. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and recommended we try both the cubano and tri tip plate. The chef offered to cut them in half so my wife and I could both try each other's plate. He personally brought out each meal and explained the ingredients he used. Our waitress and staff explained the Benny Boy cider on tap, and recommended we try the Pinot Grigio. Overall our experience was amazing and we intend to come back frequently and become regulars! read more

Holy Saints - Tri tip plate. - New American Near Me - Pasadena, California

This is a very small place and feels so lovely and intimate. Everyone who works there (I think there are only 3) is super friendly. We had a great meal, the best spaghetti bolognese we've ever had. I only wish we had brought friends so we could have shared more of the dishes. I really want to try the Cacio de Pepe and would love to come when they open again for lunch. read more
