We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were warmly greeted upon arrival. Champagne…read morewas served as soon as we were seated, and we were also treated to a complimentary baba ghanoush, which was excellent. We started with the bone marrow appetizer, and it was truly outstanding -- incredibly balanced, rich without being overwhelming, and so good we couldn't stop talking about it. We ordered the steak and eggs. The crunchy brioche, earthy mushroom purée, and beautifully sliced steak came together perfectly, and the saltiness of the caviar tied everything together in a really thoughtful way. The picanha was another standout! incredibly tender and full of flavor. We paired it with the broccolini and wagyu fat potatoes, both of which were absolutely delicious. To finish, we shared the ube cheesecake empanada. We were a bit hesitant at first, but it turned out to be the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. The cocktails throughout the night were also excellent. We enjoyed the restaurant so much that we brought friends back later the same week. That visit was just as impressive -- we ordered the tomahawk steak, garden salad, bone marrow (again!), steak and eggs, truffle fries, broccolini, carrots, and tried all of the desserts. Once again, everything was delicious across the board. The only area for improvement would be the service. Everyone was kind and attentive, but at times too quick to clear plates and not proactive enough with the next course. At a restaurant of this caliber, I'd expect the dessert menu to be offered immediately after plates are cleared, rather than needing to track down a server. Overall, the food is exceptional, and we'll absolutely be back.

We chose the tasting menu at the counter. The execution of the initial dishes in the tastings were well seasoned. But quickly it was clear that given the restaurant was becoming busy and the food service and the drink pairings were not in sync. Part of a tasting experience is being wowed and enjoying the progression of dishes as you would a performance. Javier and our waiter in particular made sure by the end to ensure our experience was smoothed out. One note about the tasting experience is it lacked a certain level of finesse. While the service team did explain the dishes beautifully, it would have been nice for the chef to come out and explain even one of the dishes, especially with a restaurant that has the potential to share a rich background in history about the dishes and flavors. I found that to be particularly surprising that was not the case. In all of the tastings we have participated in (NY, Paris, Miami, Barcelona, Rome, Shanghai...) the chef has always come by even if for a second and it's in those moments that you really get a sense of the passion and the experience of a tasting. After all the origin story is the thread that would have pulled the elements together. It would have elevated this from an average to a more memorable experience. Overall, the food was solid, but regrettably not memorable. There are certainly elements that can benefit from workshopping (timing, chef engagement, consistent execution of dishes) however would be remiss if I didn't shout out Javier and our waiter for their receptiveness and making a positive end to the evening.

Seating is mostly outdoors and beautifully decorated, definitely a nice selection for an intimate event. Service was wonderful! The spanakopita was nicely flaky, the spinach filling wasn't overly bitter or pungent (my boyfriend is not a fan of strong feta flavors and enjoyed this while I am a feta enthusiast, we felt that this was right in the middle of our demands which worked great). We both love moussaka which is what my boyfriend ended up getting, dare we say it was our favorite moussaka out of any Greek restaurant in America thus far (coming from New Yorkers frequently visiting Astoria). It was broiled to perfection to give the cheese/béchamel layer a light crunch at the top and maintaining that richness underneath. The eggplant and ground meat were well seasoned. I really enjoyed my stuffed peppers as well (rice pilaf, ground beef, and feta on top), the tomato broth/sauce gave a nice sweet and savory flavor with the meal. Finally, a superb pistachio baklava, 10/10. Super impressed with what Miami had to offer for Mediterranean.

Plan accordingly unless you enjoy dining in 85° with a side of humidity. Parking? Practically a scavenger hunt. There's no real on-site option; we ended up trekking about six blocks to a public garage. Apparently there's valet somewhere nearby, but you'd never know it because there were no signs, no heads up, just vibes. They tout a Michelin Bib Gourmand, which set expectations and maybe a little too high. Unfortunately, the food just didn't deliver. Several dishes landed squarely in the "looks better than it tastes" category--pretty, but surprisingly flavorless. At those prices, you expect at least a little wow. Service was fine, but forgettable. All in all, between the heat, the flies, the parking adventure, and the underwhelming food, this one's a pass for me. Won't be making a return trip.

The crowd was friendly, the vibe was social, and it's easy to strike up conversations and meet new people. The happy hour menu is surprisingly grounded for this part of the city, offering some of the best prices I've seen in Miami recently--averaging $10-$12 for a mixed drink. While my friend sampled a few of the more complex options, I stuck to my standard Ranch Water, which was delivered perfectly. The service stood out here. The bartenders operated as a highly coordinated team, moving fast and effectively to manage a busy crowd without losing the ability to make personal connections through conversation. It's a level of efficiency you don't always see at high-volume rooftops. While we didn't stay for a meal, the lobster and King Crab tanks you see upon entering are a clear highlight and a nod to the quality of the kitchen. If you're looking for a supportive environment to catch a sunset with a clean drink in hand, this is a top-tier choice in the Edgewater area.

So we pull up to this place because it was the only one on the water and it was overlooking the biscayne bay on this beautiful January night. We had an issue with our reservation because there are 3 different systems that you can book through so he gave his name and the hostess said she didn't see our name. I don't know why you wouldn't check all three systems before telling someone they don't have a reservation but nonetheless after about 5-7 minutes she finally found it. We were seated promptly and the server who sat us got our first drinks and our water and from there the service of our permanent waitress was a little subpar. We seemed to wait an excessive amount of time for things and sometimes I feel it's because they have the guaranteed gratuity added. For me, this is a reason why the service should be even better because you are not going in this place spending less than $100 per person for even the cheapest things on the menu. We ordered the 4oz of crab legs, the steak tartare with caviar and the steak platter. The food was all very delicious but the bill was astronomical compared to the portion size. It was a great experience to have, but if I never go back I won't be disappointed. The steak platter was my favorite thing that we ate because of all of the homemade things that accompanied the steak so that would be something I would go back for. Overall I enjoyed my birthday and shoutout to my man for taking me to this place because it was great. We would just prefer some place else where our money may go further for what we had and better service.
