Hands down, this was the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. The bread was perfectly toasted on the outside while staying soft on the inside. The meat tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-seasoned. It was a little greasy, but in the best way possible--it was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the same sandwich and agreed that it's the best Cuban we've had so far. I also tried a non-alcoholic mango daiquiri, which was refreshing and full of flavor. The plantains were another standout and the best I've had in the city to date. This is definitely a place I'd return to for the Cuban sandwich alone. Everything I saw being served to other tables looked incredible as well. If you're visiting Little Havana, I highly recommend stopping by and giving this place a try. It's a spot that lives up to the hype. I wish we had this place is Phoenix. I'm going to miss it.

The shop is small with only the shared outdoor seating with other nearby restaurants. The Pan Con Bistec was very tasty and I liked the crispy bits inside. The flavor of the sauce could have been more pronounced but otherwise a really good sandwich. The Pan con Lechon was okay overall because it tasted very one note flavor and texture wise. The meat was moist and tender but I preferred the Bistec and the Cubano. They also provided a garlic dipping sauce which was very flavorful. However I felt that it overpowered a lot of the sandwich flavors. I also got the Mamey Batida which was smooth and subtle with its sweetness. My first time having a Batida and I really liked the consistency but will probably be choose a different flavor next time.

During live performances, one waitress would get up on stage and play instruments and at other times bartenders would join in. I was truly smiling from ear to ear all night. I drank delicious mojitos all night and even with a packed venue the drinks came out extremely fast! Although the restaurant was packed, our waitress remained extremely kind and attentive throughout the night. To me, the food was just good. We had the Jamón Serrano Croquetas to start. They were a little cold for my taste and not the best I've ever had but they weren't bad. My husband really loved his skirt steak ropa vieja and didn't leave a single grain of rice. I opted for the rabo encendido pasta. I like that they weren't skimpy on the rabo. The downside of this place is that to maximize space, you're packed in like sardines. The tables are basically on top of each other. A larger sized person would not fit getting in and out of their seat and my husband was constantly backing up into the people seated behind him. Overall, this is a place you definitely visit for the atmosphere above food. I will 100% be coming back for drinks, appetizers and more live music. It is an incredible spot especially for those looking for Cuban nostalgia.

I ordered a cafe con leche, a Cuban sandwich and a Media Noche sandwich. Everything was delicious. Especially the media noche sandwich. I've had plenty of media noches in my life, but never as good as this one. Not sure what kind of bread they use for their media noche, but it was so soft, just the perfect amount of sweetness. The Cuban sandwich of course was good, but tasted similar to others I've had. I can definitely see myself returning next time we're in the area.

I've never had anything quite like it, except maybe in Caribbean Costa Rica, and there is something so special about the way they make it here. It is literally my first stop every time I visit Miami Beach. I genuinely crave it! And then there's the quatro leches cake. INSANELY good. You will absolutely finish it. I recently tried their iced Cuban coffee with sugar and milk, and it was such a delicious addition. The passion fruit juice is also fantastic. I finally tried the grilled lobster plate, and WOW, it did not disappoint. Honestly, you might need to walk around the block a few times afterward because everything is just THAT good, and you're going to finish every last bite. Puerto Sagua has been serving Miami Beach since 1968, and it is still standing strong, serving incredible Cuban food with so much character and history. Great service and love the open restaurant ambiance diner feel. If you're visiting Miami Beach, DO NOT skip this place. Come hungry and get a taste of this iconic Cuban American restaurant. Regardless when we arrived they sat us outside which is exactly what we were hoping for. Our server was nice at first. Explained all the popular dishes got our drinks out very quickly. I think she stole our table from someone else because shortly after someone came and we told them we put our order in and he seemed a little bothered. Unfortunately, our other server disappeared and never checked up on us. We pretty much didn't have any napkins during our entire duration of our meal. At least that part was good. We started off with a couple of mojitos and their Vaca Frita Tostones. You get these homemade maduro tostones topped off with shreeded beef in a moon sauce, pickled onion, and aji Amarillo aioli. A very delicious dish that didn't last long. Shortly after we received our main dish. I really hate when they do that. My wife ordered their Abuelas Ropa Vieja and I ordered their Masa de Puerco Chino. My wife didn't really care for her dish much. We've had plenty of Ropa Vieja before and would have preferred a congri type of rice as opppsed to just plain white rice. My dish was 10/10. Like in the name of "chino" this is an Asian inspired dish with fried rice, maduros, pineapple confit and crispy pork. A very delicious dish. It could have don't without the little salad on top, but at least it ads color to the dish. The crispy pork tasted so amazing and the fried had so much flavor. Mix in some of the maduros and you get a sweet and savory dish. Would definitely be returning to try this dish again.
