One of several outdoor seating areas, plenty of both shade and sun!

Great food for a great cause. All the profits go to meals on wheels. The staff is very friendly, and the vibe is very laid back.

Came back to visit the church where my wife and I renewed our vowels and to our surprise they opened a coffee shop. Everyone here is super friendly! They're open 7:30am to 2pm Monday thru Friday. We met Barbara the manager and also Connie but it's her last day here :( They're both super sweet!!! We got the Vanilla Latte that was amazing when paired w chocolate cake or anything sweet and also the sun dried tomato quiche. The quiche was so good!!! They also have free WiFi available!!! We will definitely return next time we are in town!!! PS the proceeds goes to Meal on Wheels for seniors. Such a great cause!!! Come out and support :)

Fresh made croissant. Crispy, flaky and warm like it should be... wow!!!

One of the best hidden gems in the area. My wife's iced caramel and my orange freeze were the best If not the best iced coffee and smoothie we've had in a long time. Service was great, and the lady who helped us was so nice... it was a nice place to sit and relax. So clean, and calm to sit and have a coffee with loved ones.. they even have a library... we've been coming to Solvang/Buellton for years and never stopped here before. Glad we did today. The croissant was fresh made and again the best we've had in along time. Just amazing!! Here's the kicker it's lo located in a Presbyterian church... so don't just drive by thinking there's only a church here. Stop and read lol...We will be back again... can't wait..

There's a cute sticker machine at the wait area, for a dollar you can get a random sticker in either the peasants farm/feast brand, or what I think are local brands and artists? We chose the local brands and the slight disappointment when a sole Enegren sticker was revealed, washed over us (none of us drink). But I enjoy it being there. Despite the chill there's plenty of heaters around that make the meal plenty enjoyable. The food is around $20-30 per person if you're being stingy like us and not ordering extras like drinks or starters. And the menu rotates daily I think, everything that was recommended to me by friends wasn't on the menu. But I felt pretty full with just half the fig grilled cheese for a meal and snaking on the rest later in the day. It was the perfect blend of savory sweet, like a cheesy geode with a rock exterior of Parmesan crispy bits flaking off and rich bread but inside was gooey soft cheese that was elevated with a satisfyingly sweet fig jam. The dipping sauce the potatoes were given is kind of boring, it looked colorful but felt like just a spicy mayo. The soup was a zappy blend of carrot, ginger, and turmeric? It felt like one of those health shots subdued down smooth with cream. Our server offered bread with it and we did assume it would be $5+ but it isn't listed in the menu to my knowledge. The hot chicken was really good though, there's a multifaceted layer where you can taste the sweetness of the bread, the kick of the pickles, the crunch of the breading, and finally the succulent chicken. It's quite good! Patio is dog friendly, we were seated next to a very polite, and very excited dog. So far my favorite place to eat in Solvang!

It's a dependable choice if you're looking for a good meal in the heart of town (so you can talk down the main Solvang street afterwards (or before).

The last time we dined it was too cold to sit outside. We were hoping to sit outside this time, but the wind suddenly kicked up, so inside we went (again). We were seated by the front window which at least gave us some sun. :) We ordered two favorite items -- The Spicy Pig and Prime Rib Dip. Our daughter chose the Truffle Gnocchi which was a standout with that fantastic sauce, pillowy spinach gnocchi, artichokes and garnish of fried spinach. We decided to try the Burrata & Greens to share. Everything was delicious -- no complaints! Fresh, flavorful and so, so satisfying! Ryan was our wonderful server -- perfectly friendly and attentive. It was another wonderful experience. We look forward to next time!

The steak was super juicy with a delicious limey chimichurri sauce. The only thing is, we ordered medium rare and I'd say it was closer to a medium, but the fact that it was still juicy made it not a big deal. The duck fat potatoes on the side were an absolute treat. Crispy and flavorful on the outside with a tender interior. Would order the potatoes alone. Despite the food being good, I think it's extremely overpriced at $48. Quality and portion wise the entree reflects a maximum of $35 I would say .The service was excellent! Kind host that helped open our door and picked a disability friendly table. Our server was also super nice.

We ordered the Bavarian Pretzel that came with cheese sauce, the Sausage Sampler with Jalapeño Cheddar Bacon, Bratwurst, Kielbasa and Hot Italian plus a big beer and a cider! The pretzel was buttery, soft and paired well with the cheese sauce. I loved all of the sausages, but my favorite was the Bratwurst and Kielbasa - our daughter loved them as well. They offer a plethora of sauces to enjoy from Curry Ketchup to Honey Mustard plus they offer fresh Sauerkraut and other pickled items. They offer picnic tables outside under a shaded area which filled up very quickly. Staff were nothing special - but they were hustling to get the orders out as well as clearing off tables. Overall, we really enjoyed the Copenhagen Sausage Garden - we wanted to stop by one more time before heading home, but couldn't find the time. We will definitely come back next time we are in Solvang! Check them out!

You order at the counter and then they have you sit at a table - they do not allow you to sit before ordering which I liked. It allows for the kitchen and staff to stay on top of orders and to help everything run smoothly - plus it cuts down on allowing people to save tables. We ordered the Belgian Waffle, Corned Beef Hash, Biscuits and Gravy and Danish Pancake. Everything was fresh and delicious, including the coffee and fresh squeezed OJ! The inside has a decent amount of seating, I believe there might have been an additional room as well, plus outdoor seating. Staff were very friendly and personable! They came around and checked on us, refilled water/coffee and cleaned plates. Overall, we absolutely loved this place - we almost came back again on Sunday, but the line was really long and we needed to get on the road to head home! Fun fact: Brekkies is British slang for...breakfast! Also, the owner of Brekkies also owns 2 or 3 other businesses in town included Chomp Burgers which was also very good! If you're ever in Solvang and looking for a breakfast/brunch spot, I highly suggest checking out Brekkies!

You order at the counter and are seated after. Tried their Banana Nutella pancakes, croissant sandwich, and their kids eggs. Enjoyed the pancakes the most. Coast Range seemed to check all the boxes, and they had an available reservation on the patio. We got (for us) the perfect table, which was a small area next to the entrance. Actually only our table, which was great for containing our puppy, plus a heat lamp and service over the pony wall which worked out great! We started with delicious cold, crisp martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives and a bowl of water for our pup. Our server (Chelsea B?) was so fun and friendly! We then had maybe the best wedge salad we've ever had! I think the lettuce was cut to, but not thru, the base, and opened up, with toppings inside. Roasted beet cubes, bacon, blue cheese and shallots, plus cherry tomatoes, hard boiled egg quarters and fried shallots garnish. It was incredible. I think they should call it "More than a Wedge." We also had the Ahi crudo, which had a delicious sauce and thinly sliced peppers. I wasn't too hungry, so had the French onion soup as my main course. So, it definitely didn't taste anything like French onion soup! It looked like it, and it was definitely cooked down onions but the flavor wasn't anything like I'd expect. However, it was really delicious and satisfied my craving for something warm & cheesy. So if you go in knowing that, I think you'll enjoy it. I don't like lamb, so my husband often gets it when we go out. When he took his first bite, I could tell he enjoyed it. He said it was some of the best lamb he's had and he's had a lot! It's à la carte, but did come with a tiny bit of salad and a roasted pepper which he thought was perfect. Since I was having the soup we didn't order a vegetable side, which we normally would, but this vegetable garnish worked perfectly for him. Definitely recommended!

We were seated right away as we had arrived a few minutes after they opened. The inside was dark, but cozy. For drinks, I ordered the Vaquero Martini which was pretty good and my husband ordered an Old Fashioned - we thought it was very strange that it came in a glass with a bunch of ice instead of a giant cube or sphere. The food items were a bit pricy so my husband and I decided to split some appetizers - Artichokes, French Onion Soup and the Skirt Steak. We ordered the Kids Bolognese Pasta which our daughter loved - I wish my husband and I could have said the same thing about what we ordered. I did enjoy the French Onion Soup the best, but we have made much better artichokes at home and the skirt steak was barely seasoned. Overall, staff were very friendly, but the food was not worth the price point at all in our opinion. Everything was honestly mid - we had high hopes considering all of the Michelin Star recognitions. I know we only ordered appetizers, but we thought it would have given us a little taste of everything. I'm not sure if we came on an off day, but if we're ever in Solvang again, Coast Range will not be a restaurant we rush to unfortunately.
