I randomly came across Danish Village Bakery and found a tub of assorted cookies for around $20. The lady working inside helped me right away and answered my questions about which items were the most popular and whether the cookies were freshly made. She was friendly and made the visit quick and easy. You can buy Danish cookies at regular grocery stores, but these tasted completely different. They were softer, fresher, and had that rich, buttery flavor that packaged cookies are usually missing. They were even better than the airport cookies I remembered! The bakery itself had a cute, homey, old-fashioned atmosphere, and there was plenty of free parking nearby.
