He explained the work required, gave me an estimate and then was able to come back the very next morning and complete the work. Although Luis found additional issues with the roof my estimate still stayed the same. He and his coworker put in 4 1/2 hours of very thorough and professional work. I'm a DIYer (Do It Yourselfer) with an engineering and tinkering background. I had a bad leak in in…read moremy bedroom ceiling possibly due to an old Dish Network dish that I removed when I moved in two years ago. Also there were a couple of asphalt shingles missing so, I figger I easily can fix that. Yeah, right! Discovered real quick I was in over my head and the rainy season was heading my way. It looked like I really needed a new roof rather than a quickie patch job but I didn't have a loose ten grand or so NOW for a new roof so I wound up checking around. Tim was the first one available in the next few days so I decided to give him a try. He came out promptly a day or two later and looked at my pitiful repair start and said he could fix that and then pointed out several other problem shingles I had not even noticed. Wow, sez me to myself, looks like this guy knows roofs! And I noticed his ad said "nothing over $500!" And what he proposed to fix, thought I, would easily cost $500. WRONG! His estimate was way under $500! And he only spent maybe as much as 3 hours on the roof. And wow, did he do a great job! He even fixed a problem I didn't know I had with no extra charge. So I pays him and gave him a nice tip. And sure enough, a week later we got a rare heavy thundershower. And I do mean heavy! And the leak? Not a drop. Wow, sez I, that's what I've always wanted! A perfect job at a discount price. And when I get my roof money ready, I'm definitely calling him even though I don't think he wants to do a full roof job. My nickname for him now is "Tim The Roof Patch King!"
