Visited their pop-up near University today before work. There was lots of open parking and even…read moretables for guests to sit and enjoy their food/drink. I had tried their drinks at a previous pop-up at Fishcake but it's been a while. I was curious about their biko coffee and needed an extra caffeine boost so I got that! I didn't adjust the sweetness level because I wanted to get the full effect of the biko. The drink was pretty sweet but delicious. The coffee flavor is also very strong so I was well-caffeinated for the rest of the day! I want to go back to try their watermelon pandan matcha (a special that won't be around forever, according to the owner)! Friendly and fast service, convenient location, & fun menu :)

I visited Panday at the Kailua mini swap meet. It was a small, kind of random event that…read moresurprisingly didn't have any other food or drink vendors. I felt kind of bad because it was a one person show and the owner guy had to accommodate a lot of customers by himself! It was a hot day and a cold drink sounded great. I heard someone mention there was a coffee vendor but the person made it sound like they were only selling cups of hot or iced coffee. Then someone walked by with a matcha drink and I knew I needed to check out Panday's booth. There was a small line of customers and the guy was working hard to chat with people, collect payments and make drinks. When it was my turn, I ordered the "Biko" coffee which is their special Filipino rice/coconut/condensed milk coffee. He said he probably didn't have enough and I should look over the menu to see if I had a second choice. I chose the banana matcha and he said he didn't have any banana syrup. I mean maybe the event was so popular that he ran out of drinks quicker than expected. I guess he was the only food/drink vendor at the event and it was a hot day.... In the end, he had enough Biko for my drink and everything was fine. It was a good latte and flavorful, but idk if I'd go out of my way to find it in the future. I do want to try the banana matcha still though. For a one man operation, this guys is killing it. He makes the espresso shots to order, so drinks may take a little while to get made. He was good at chatting up people in line while we waited though. Hopefully I'll see panday coffee at another event soon!

Parking is on the side of a steep driveway. Look for the signs and the cat at the front door. I ordered the Roasted Chicken. If you're ordering takeout, call them in advance. The Roasted Chicken takes approximately 25 to 30 minutes to make, but it was well worth the time. Service from the lady there is amazing and she's super friendly. I'm definitely going back there to try out their desserts because the quality of the food there is amazing!

We immediately felt like we were going to enjoy our time there, whether the food was going to be good or not, lol. Thankfully, it was! We ordered the Orange Chicken, a poke bowl, and a couple of the infused teas with lemonades, and everything was delicious. Highly recommend! The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and inviting. The location is a little interesting, but it's definitely worth the hunt! Once you spot the flag on the corner of the building, you'll know you're in the right place--you just have to look for it. Most importantly, Chelsea made us feel so welcomed and taken care of from start to finish. We honestly haven't had service that good in a LONG time. Thank you, Chelsea, for making our experience so enjoyable! We'll definitely be back!

When I saw that they had a Kulolo Crunch Espresso Latte n' a Pandan Mango Sago Matcha Latte I just had to try it. I've missed their recent pop-ups near town, so I made my way to the west side to finally get my fix + eat at Jolene's too. I absolutely loved both drinks. Flavors were on point, the toffee bits n' the sago were giving in texture, espresso n' matcha went so well with all the rest of the ingredients they were put together with, beautifully crafted, n' most of all so yuMmmy. Can't wait to attend another pop-up of theirs when they are in/near town!

I love the cozy Japan vibes of this cafe. It's small with limited seating so I recommend doing to-go but it would be nice to have a coffee date here. My bf & I got two drinks to-go -- the matcha latte & yuzu choco oat cold brew. We both really enjoyed our drinks. I also got two bottled drinks -- the ume iced tea & lilikoi lemonade which were also sooo yum. The worker let me sample these two which was nice. I enjoyed the bottled drinks a couple days later, it was a refreshing treat. The staff were friendly & it didn't take long for us to get our drinks. The only challenge may be finding parking as they have only a few stalls in front. We ended up parking a little up the street on the opposite side. It was a short walk to the cafe & well worth it! Will be stopping by again soon for my matcha & tea fix.

Luckily, I was able to get the most similar drinks to them. First off, presentation was perfection n' their aesthetic is so cute. The Salted Maple Coffee had a nice hint of salty n' sweet n' went very well with the coffee. I really liked the fresh strawberry puree in the Strawberry Matcha. Was hoping for more of a matcha-y taste throughout the drink. I believe they mentioned in an IG story that they will be sourcing a new matcha soon, so I am eager to see if that will enhance their matcha drinks to be the best it can be.
