The coffee was clumpy and had noticeable bits of espresso or chocolate debris in the drink, which made the texture unpleasant. The worker was very nice and friendly, so I have no complaints about the service. Their indoor space felt a little crammed as customers were left confused as to where to wait for their drinks. Indoor seating is gone. There used to be a lot of space that added a lot to the ambiance and made ChadLou's feel like a cozy place to enjoy a coffee. Without it, the atmosphere just doesn't feel the same anymore.

Yes they have a shop in Waikiki but they have the Chocolate Factory and Wine Bar in Kailua right beside Kailua Square but the entrance is found right at the parking lot as the bright and vibrant building just draws you in especially when you're instantly greeted when you walk in and as I found that they now was a cafe right at the entrance serving up some fresh local coffee. All very new it's just coffee at the moment and not sure if they menu will be expanding but love how they use and showcase local items including Pono syrups making one lovely cup where you're offered 100% Kona coffee though went with a Kona Blend Cold Brew is nice as it's nitro blast giving it such a smooth sip as I'm not usually a coffee purists it was easy to enjoy the quality put in this cup. There aren't really tables but lots of seating options is nice to stay in a cool air conditioned shop and browse for some coffee and chocolates the service and staff here is so friendly and helpful. One of my biggest complaints is not enough ice and too much milk, Holoholo had the perfect ratio! Holoholo became part of my morning routine while visiting and I will absolutely be back. I would love it if they had a loyalty program (or maybe they do and I just didn't know about it) and I wish they had more of a selection of merch. I definitely would have bought a hat (limited selection) and shirt if they had more sizes.

I was told that their matcha isn't naturally sweet, you need to add your own sweetness to the drink itself. The server did recommend vanilla, or brown sugar in which I opted for vanilla. That was a nice touch! Overall, the drink was good. The matcha quality is really nice. I have however, tried better. But that's just a personal preference at the end of the day. Will I be returning? If I'm in the area again, absolutely! Customer service is great, and I would love to try their coffee and other drinks. It's located near Subway and 'Ōlena on the ground level. We saw the photos of the latte art, but it's usually done on hot beverages. When it's 77°F, we would rather have an iced matcha latte, please! Our barista cashier was very pleasant and efficient! Thanks for the great service and wonderful drink! We enjoyed looking at the coffee plantation memorabilia!
