Have always heard about this place, and today, finally made the drive out! Creature Coffee is a cute lil coffee stand located in Key Project. They do have shorter hours of operation 7am-12pm, but if you are able to make the visit, do so. They did not disappoint. I ordered their iced banana bread latte (originally came for the matcha version, but they were out of matcha), so so good! My bf got their iced coconut Vietnamese iced coffee, another good choice. The quality of their coffee, chef's kiss! Definitely will be taking the not so long drive to Kahaluu from Kaneohe, if not for the scenic views, but especially to try the iced banana bread matcha!

The cutest coffee counter and the cups are so fun. The quality of the coffee beans were great -- I ordered a cinnamon vanilla latte and it was delicious. Highly recommend!

I have just had my first Creature Coffee experience, and I must say it was most delightful! Five stars all the way! The Cortado I am sipping on has a delightful, smooth flavor yet a good strong coffee kick! If you live in Kaneohe or if you're heading up Windward side, I highly suggest passing all the Starbucks and other subpar, coffee purveyors and head right over to creature coffee. It is the real deal! The shop owner was warm and genuine. You can tell she isn't entirely dedicated to your coffee enjoyment. I will most certainly recommend this place and recommend you bring others to experience it. It is very tasty! Superb coffee Very fair price Kind local staff

Came here on my way to Koloa Ranch from Waikiki and would definitely recommend it. Some of the best coffee I've ever had and it is a really nice shop with good service and again really great coffee!

Found this cute little shop on our way to our kayaking tour. We had to really look for it and almost missed the turn. We ordered an iced black rose latte (highly recommend) and an iced coconut latte w/ coconut milk (would recommend ordering it with regular or oat milk because this combination tasted a little sour). The drinks came in a short plastic cup that was made to look like a plant pot which I thought was a neat concept to go with the theme, just wished the straws were a bit shorter to have a better height ratio because it was a little bit awkward to hold and drink from. The baristas were friendly and patient with us even though it was our first time there. They also had cute stickers for sale, I got one because the logo is adorable and it will be a nice addition to my coffee shop sticker collection.

My girlfriend and I had a great experience. The coffee shop is small so it's more like a stand/booth since there is no seating, but it's fitting if you're just looking for great coffee in the area or on your way to Kualoa Beach/Ranch. First, the barista was so friendly and seemed genuinely excited for us to try out their drinks. We tried the matcha latte and the vanilla espresso spritzer with cold foam. The matcha latte was pretty standard, but the new spritzer was spectacular! The espresso itself was great (strong, but not bitter) and it was very well balanced with the italian soda/cold foam. When we're back in the area we will definitely revisit to get the spritzer again.

Creature Coffee Shop has taken over the original spot of Morning Glass Coffee, located at the KEY Project, which permanently closed. This'll change up Kahuluu with the ending of Covid Pandemic as a lot of new businesses have opened up. I picked an iced latte before my monthly volunteer day, nice cute cups, really strong coffee which I love! There was only 1 barista working but can get foot traffic as the Elementary School is just up the street. Free ample parking shared with KEY Project.

I'll explain later. Before we even went to the location, we yelped it. We saw they had Açaí bowls and shaved ice. When we walked up to the store, the front window had all the items that was "available." I'll post the picture. When we walked in, we asked the older man if we could have 2 Açaí bowls. He yelled and said it's not açaí bowls, it's only the bottom part...NO FRUITS! My daughter pointed at the picture that had an açaí with fruit, right behind the old man. He said no fruits!! Ok fine, so we are still getting charged $8.60 for a medium size cup of only the açaí and no fruits? That's pretty expensive. Even the very best açaí bowls with fruit aren't that much!!! So we decided on the shaved ice, he said we don't sell shaved ice here! Now I'm really confused. Maybe they use too. But all the Yelpers/customers had pictures of shaved ice and açaí bowls. Our 4 girls decided on the ice cream that was in the deep freezer by register. The older lady kept shutting the freezer door on my girls because they took too long to decide. It's not like the ice cream was going to melt in 30 seconds, but whatever. Never again will I come here! The pictures I posted are of the front windows. Each picture, I zoomed in closer so you can finally see the "sign" that says no açaí bowls! I circles it in red. They definitely need to update pictures inside and out as well as the yelp account.

As an individual, attending, making a reservation was very simple, confirmations are sent via email from Fareharbor. There's free round trip transportation to and from 4 convenient pick-up locations in Waikiki. If you're planning to drive in (and you're Kama'aina) it's free parking. Otherwise they charge $15 per car. Very limited parking area with about 25 unmarked stalls available. When we arrived the private blue-ish colored gate is a tricky one, where you need to be in a specific area to the sensor, in order for it to open up. I would recommend having an attendant stationed here to open the gate for easier access to those driving in (and out in the evening). When inside the gate, make a right and go all the way down to the pavilion area, first come, first serve parking. Then make your way to the pathway where you'll be greeted with a shell lei. From 5:15pm-6pm you can partake in activities such as tatau (tattoo) and making ti-leaf bracelets. The dinner started promptly at 6pm with a lovely 4-course menu and live music (Hawaiian duo). About mid-way through the courses, the show then transitions into hula, Tahitian and fire knife dancing. I personally would have liked more storytelling and a flow for the show. But I did appreciate the opportunity to take pictures with the dancers afterwards because we're in more of an intimate group setting, than those big-box luaus with hundreds+ of people. All in all, everything ended around 7:30pm that evening. If you're looking for a more intimate setting away from all the hustle and bustle then this is a great alternative. And I personally don't care for luau food (kalua pig, lomi salmon, poi) so I appreciated the Michel's touch on the cuisine. Overall, the place is well-kept and cared for. The restrooms as also clean and easily accessible. Pro Tip: Bring bug spray and lots of it because you're near a fish pond. It was relatively breezy on the night that we went, so we didn't need any light jackets. I'm curious to see what their back-up plan is, in case it rains, as I'm assuming the show must go-on. Pro Tip 2: Ensure that you notate your allergies when making a reservation, so that they can accommodate your needs. The printed menu doesn't necessarily list everything such as shrimp in the tomato bisque and bacon in the tofu poke.
