The food was so good. The service was great. This is a one man show. Perfect lunch on a hot Hawaiian day. Highly recommend.

The fried rice with steak was chef kiss*. I was hesitant but don't let them fool you. It was a bit on the salty side but literally every bite was just so flavorful. The fried rice itself was goopy but I love it! It reminds me of when I cook at home. The steak was crazy tender and flavorful. Like I said, it was a bit on the saltier side but it wasn't unbearable. EVERY BITE was FLAVORFUL. It was close to closing and 7 of us came at once. Uncle cooked diligently! The place seems like it's in a dirty spot but you just gotta appreciate it. It's right next to a beautiful lake and tall mountainsz I'll give it a 9/10 will buy again. P.s buy the steak fried rice and add shrimp. That is something they should add.

Stopped by after visiting the Byodo temple. At first sight, food didn't look amazing but tasted good. You can taste the cornstarch in it but has good flavor. I've had Giovanni's garlic shrimp and this had more flavor and the shrimps were bigger and juicier. Just wished the shell was removed but it's ok. There are a lot of flies so beware.

We ordered the garlic shrimp and chicken plate, shrimp fried rice, and chicken fried rice. Everything was DELICIOUS. The portions were generous. Service was quick and the seating area was chill. Behind the food truck there's like a creek and it makes for good photo op. Can't recommend this place enough

Located nice to a nice and calm lake, with the mountains as a backdrop. They served me the most amazing streak fried rice. I also had the spicy garlic shrimp, it was good, but not quite to the fried rice level.

The food was so yummy! I recommend the shrimp fried rice, also the portions are really generous! Paid $18 for this plate & well worth it.

I ordered the garlic shrimp served with two scoops of rice. It came nice and hot but doesn't compare to the other garlic shrimp places I've had. This tasted like it was drenched in Mayo and I couldn't taste any garlic likeness to it. The serving was large but was not a fan.

Make sure you bring cash, it's cash only! Portion size was great! Food was super tasty and it was ready quick. Cute bench sitting area to enjoy your food.

They DONT accept credit cards! Had to use the atm at hygienic store. All plates $17. Food was ok. Garlic shrimp smells amazing! Lots of large shrimp but pretty oily. Nice place to stop and eat. Great views. Maybe I'll try something else on the menu next time

Such yummy shrimp!!! Absolutely recommend, savory, slightly garlicky, creamy-buttery shrimp. So good, I wish we could eat it every day!

I really like the spicy garlic shrimp, one of my favorites on the island. I haven't tried any of the other items because of that.

Look for it when you pass the traffic circle by the Hygenic Store. I parked right there at the store's gravel parking area. The menu was intriguing and the fragrances were inviting! The woman inside the truck was very friendly! I appreciate the Kama'aina discount! The man outside the truck had the Aloha Spirit, too, and helped me with my food photo, as well as packaging up my containers! We went here because we met Solé at the Waikiki location and he suggested we try his sister's location. They have the same food, but different vibe. This one is on the side of the road closes around 6 or 7, depending on the traffic. Very island life vibe. They also have a shave ice truck right next to them. I got the creamy garlic shrimp. OMG it was so yummy! I LOVED it. It's not like all the other shrimp places in the island. This is creamy and garlicky. It's not spicy. It comes with rice and even the sauce with the rice tastes sooooo good. I didn't eat the mac salad because it has shredded tuna. My bf got the Trydis Mix with the creamy garlic shrimp and bone-in short rib. He really enjoyed the meat, it was very flavorful and tender. It was grilled to perfection! The service was amazing. I don't remember her name, but Solé's (I hope I'm spelling it correctly) sister was friendly. She checked up on us to make sure everything was good. I truly can't wait to come back! The only thing is we did get blocked by some kids parking on the lot blocking the exit. We had to get out of the car and ask them to move. They saw us trying to get out, but still didn't move until we asked.
