It was a rainy, overcast day, and the unpaved parking lot was muddy and wet. There was a tarped area with picnic tables and benches, but we didn't want to stay and eat because of the flies. I think there would be feral chickens if it wasn't raining. We both ordered Steak Fried Rice ($18 cash only) from the cheerful, helpful man. The food came out really hot in the takeout container. Luckily, I had a towel so that my niece could hold our meals on her lap in the car without getting burned. The fragrance of the food was delicious! It was torture driving to Windward Mall! We couldn't wait to find a table in air conditioning and sit down! We both dove into our containers. Everything looked good and had yummy flavor. Too bad the steak was a bit chewy from the gristle.
