Thankfully Kaimana is just a quick walk down the street. They're located just outside the entrance of the Kaimana Beach Hotel, nestled among some other small businesses. The menu is fairly short - just a few options. They do not have cold drip (iced) coffee. My option was an iced americano which was fine. The barista was super nice and made a good drink. Like most/all coffee shops on the island they use Kona beans. At first look it's definitely a grab n go spot, not a lot of seating options. No pictures but it definitely fits the "beautiful coffee shop in paradise" aesthetic.

I been stopping in here for years. Even though the shop is small, they seem to have everything from vodka to toilet paper. If you're visiting the beach, you can pick up sun screen, toys and more. Prices range from reasonable to crazy high. My most recent stopped, I picked up post cards for only 35 cents. Expect to pay $10 for a prepackaged sandwich. The clerk asked if I needed stamps and then kindly told me where to find the nearby mail box. I always feel welcome.

Always passing here I never gave it much thought thinking it's a small place to get some chips and soda...wrong!! The staff here is so nice and friendly for any questions or when you're indecisive like me...smiling and allowing me to circle and circle around looking thinking this was it...no this one...oh wait this looks good lol!!! With every snack you can think of...wall of yummies, chocolate, chips and healthy protein snacks...too much treats they have a wall filled with first aid and medical supplies for got that personal item...yup a wall of travel sized items so you're not committed to an oversized item. I tried a bite of the protein breakfast sandwich and I think I probably like that one better haha. Although, the veggie one was definitely a lot more lighter and easy to consume. Recess Cafe & Bar is a place in the lobby of renew hotel and what fitting name to have as vacay or staycay the reason is the restart your vibe and here is a cool oasis. When you walk into the hotel is a very cozy lobby not as grand as some other but still offers the modern touches like the simple a water feature filled with fresh plumerias is beautiful and right behind that is Recess with what I associate with that fun and freeing break time at school and though this bar is closed during the day it offers free coffee from 6am to 10pm. This self service feature is a great touch to start your day. A thermos is filled with fresh Hawaiian Paradise Coffee and when I got there it apparently was empty *sob!* but not skipping a beat a staff dashed over a brought out a backup ready to go and my morning was saved lol!
