I really love the ambiance here the space feels cozy, and I appreciate that there's a coffee bar inside the little shop where they feature local goods and clothing brands. It has such a charming, community-focused vibe. The coffee was rich, well-crafted and truly enjoyable. Their matcha isn't quite my personal favorite yet but that's just based on my own taste. Service can be a bit on the slower side since there's usually just one staff member handling everything cashier, barista and more. They're doing their best but if you're in a hurry, this might not be the ideal stop. That said, I genuinely appreciate their effort and friendliness. Overall, I'd happily stop by anytime I'm in the area whether I'm working nearby, going for a run or just in need of a caffeine pick-me-up. read more

Cool little spot to snag a coffee by the beach. It was a gloomy day and we stopped in for a coffee quick. My wife got the affogato which she said was good but could've used some more ice cream. Then our friend had the seasonal special which was the spiced ulu latte. It smelled great and they said they really enjoyed it. I was going to get an oolong tea but they were out of it so I didn't get anything. Woman working the place was friendly. Cute spot with many trinkets and clothes. Pretty expensive but that's the price you pay for being next to the beach. Pro tip is to go drink your coffee in the hotel lobby next door as there are no seats in the shop very small. read more

Is it a boutique that serves coffee? Or a coffee shop that sells beachwear? Did you come to Hawaii and forget your swimsuit? No problem. The swimwear is awfully cute and well made. They have some adorable bags and hats and even some Hawaiian shirts that seem really well made of rayon with Hawaiian tags. At the counter, a clerk was making fancy coffees..LOCAL coffee. It was too late for me to have coffee, but it looked good. I'll have this spot on my list for my next morning walk. The place is somewhat hidden among several sets of high rise condos and hotels east of Waikiki. There are a few parking spaces just outside the door. Worth a visit. I walked into this boutique coffee shop with sunshine vibes, cute clothes, a men's section, bathing suits, little trinkets, jewelry and unique gifts. I ordered an Ube matcha with almond milk and it was delicious! There's seating on the patio out back where you can see the beach or you can walk over to the benches right on the sand. I'll say the vibes were 3.5/5. I didn't get a welcoming feeling which stinks because the shop is so stinking cute. Maybe it was an off day for the baristas. I only come to this place for the matcha and I've loved it every time I have come. I usually get the ube matcha. It's always nicely layered with the ube and matcha and the workers here are usually nice and friendly. However today when I got the ube matcha, the girl working wasn't the friendliest for whatever reason. She wasn't very welcoming, nor have an overall positive vibe. I get everyone maybe has bad days, but she was saying "have a good day" in a friendly manner to other customers when they left. When she gave me my drink, she set it on the counter, turned the iPad around, and started doing something else without saying anything. I said thank you and she said "you're welcome" in a dead tone. A "thank you for coming" would've been better for a $9 matcha, that I think wasn't made very well. It was lacking in presentation in comparison to other times I've been. If you see the picture, that was from a time I had previously come. I forgot to take a picture today, but it was mixed and just very much lacking in presentation and taste (mostly tasted like the ube). I'm not gonna rate this business poorly because usually I love their matcha and their shop is cute, but the service today did not impress me. This is more of a hotel coffee shop than a true coffee shop. I think there are plenty of better places to get coffee in honolulu and would not recommend coming here. The coffee was extremely watery and sugary and had no taste of espresso. The ube matcha was nothing special but pretty good. The staff was not very friendly and forgot to make one of the drinks. This is a very modern coffee shop with some pastries. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The three stars are for the lack of decaf espresso and the price point. Love it here!! Sunset, Provisions Coffee Shop, aka Kaimana Beach Coffee shop, is located just outside of the lobby of Kaimana Hotel, next to a surf board rental/school, beauty shop and massage place. The location is perfect to enjoy a great coffee while walking/sitting on Kaimana Beach, possibly with a seal or two, they come often, or while walking in Kapiolani Park listening to the many birds, with a lovely view of Diamond Head. It's about a 10 minute walk under the trees from the main area of Waikiki, and the Zoo, and less than 5 minutes from the Waikiki Aquarium. Parking can almost always be found easily in the stalls around Kapiolani Park unless there is a special event happening. It is a mix of free and metered parking. The shop itself is small inside, with a few, maybe 10, places to sit just outside, with ocean, Waikiki Natatorium War Memorial ,and park views. It has a boutique feel, with unique local made swimware, clothes, jewlery, gifts, sunglasses and snacks for sale catering to hotel guests. Their baked goods are fresh, delicious, and made in house at the Kaimana Hotel. The syrup used in the drinks is locally made. The coffee is high quality, some Hawaii grown. The menu is unique with lots of drink choices, with and without coffee, with local flavors used. I ride by many good coffee shops on my cycling commute through Waikiki to work. All usually are crowded, have really long lines, long wait times, no place to sit, and are grungy from the high volume of people going through, so although I might be wanting a coffee I'm reluctant to deal with all of that. Here if there is a line it is short, I usually have my coffee within five minutes, and it's clean and breezy inside so the wait is enjoyable. I love coffee, particularly espresso, and truly appreciate a well pulled shot. The coffee here is consistently delicious. The people who work here are professional and sweet. I especially appreciate Rebecca (sorry if it's misspelled). She makes me feel very welcome , and is so interesting to talk with, and she always makes me an exceptionally delicious PERFECT coffee I think the best on Oahu! *Pet/dog friendly and have water & treats for dogs. *Very happy to use your reusable cup. *Local resident discount and loyalty stamp card with free drink after 10 stamps. * I think they are no cash in the shop, but maybe there is the possibility to pay in the hotel with cash, I'm not sure. read more
