You can get beans grown and roasted in Hawaii here. It's got a 90s coffee shop feel. They seem to take coffee seriously. And it appears to attract as many locals as tourists. I enjoyed my cortado. There's cool art on the walls.

Ars Cafe used to be a daily ritual. Now it is a special treat. When your order is not filled as requested it is very disappointing. Thankfully the barista offered to remake the drink. The point is, you have one job, do it efficiently. An apology would be nice.

So far, so good! BEST consistent cup of coffee I've been having is ONLY here! Different baristas every time but consistency and quality is the same! I also love the cafe's dog, Lucrecio! Sweet and polite dog! Start your day off on the right foot with a good cup of coffee and a bagel

Cute little artsy coffee shop. Walking distance from Kapiolani Park! There's bar seating, tables in the back and a couple out front. Baristas were chill and had a fun vibe. Matcha was ok. I think it could've used a little more syrup, but I'll have to say that next time. A solid 7/10! I'll be back though, I have to try their lattes!

Consistently a staple spot in the neighborhood--maybe the only coffee shop in a few blocks? Or many blocks tbh.. I can't think of another coffee shop in walking distance. I really love their drinks, not too sweet. I think they make some or most of their syrups in house, which is big points in my book. Really well kept as well, classy and homey vibe at the same time. The staff here has always been friendly. I can see why it's stuck around for as long as I can remember!! Also side note they seem to support and feature a ton of artists. LOVE THAT.

Cherry croissant was freshly baked and such a crisp great flavor. Cherry and almond wasn't just a fake flavoring. The ube scone was more of a cookie texture, it definitely didn't crumble the way a scone is supposed to but the ube taste was great. Great pour over coffee! 100% Kona beans coffee! Cute little cafe spot that features a lot of artists. Tiny tables of indoor seating. Breakfast bagel was gigantic and had so many veggies packed inside. Fried rice was really nicely done, and had a good amount of Portuguese sausage. Egg was poached perfectly!

You gotta love a coffee shop that's playing Coltrane don't you? Artsy neighborhood vibe. Excellent espresso served in a china cup...not paper. Friendly efficient service makes Ars a great stop for a quick shot or a nice place to meet a friend and enjoy the local atmosphere.

Got iced pourovers with the single origin beans offered. The flavors were on the weaker side, kinda diluted. But the place was cute.

Nice wooden interior like a mix of an old library and coffee bar. They play good jazz to go along with the coffee.

Sadly we didn't like the coffee , service was also rushed and nonamicable. Food items we got to go were just OK (egg salad sandwich and ham/cheese croissant).

Great quality coffee and AMAZING syrups. Obsessed with the sweet miso, very balanced and smooth and not too sweet. Friendly baristas and calming nice interior

    Teddy Graham Latte ($~7)

Ars is one of my favorite coffee shops in the Diamond Head/Waikiki area! My go-to order is the teddy graham latte, which is made with cinnamon, honey, and oatmilk. I've also tried their salmon bagel, which is delicious as well! The girls who work here are always nice and very efficient in getting your order out to you. There is a seating area past the ordering counter with a variety of art pieces, making it more unique than some of the other cafes in the area. If you're up for a walk, it's not too far from KCC, Diamond Head, Kapiolani Park, the zoo, or even the beach! Since there are many other food spots in the area, parking can sometimes be hard to find. There is street parking along Monsarrat Ave, but if you can't find any there, you may be able to in the residential area. If you park in the neighborhood, please be respectful of those who live there!!!

The staff here is so nice and friendly for any questions or when you're indecisive like me...smiling and allowing me to circle and circle around looking thinking this was it...no this one...oh wait this looks good lol!!! Expect long lines here lol We did a huge order for coffee and breakfast menu items. The wait to order may be long, but luckily it didn't take too long for them to prepare the drinks and sandwiches. The drinks were faster but the sandwiches did take some time. I mainly had the Kai Latte, which was the macadamia nut latte. I would say it's pretty sweet, but the macadamia nut flavor wasn't really that prominent. It was just sweet. I wish the coffee was also stronger, but it was pretty light. The sandwiches here were pretty good too. I tried the veggie breakfast sandwich which only had some greens and eggs. I tried a bite of the protein breakfast sandwich and I think I probably like that one better haha. Although, the veggie one was definitely a lot more lighter and easy to consume. The protein one probably would have been a lot more heavier for me, but a lot more flavorful. Otherwise, food and coffee are pretty solid. There are a few tables outside the coffee shop, very limited. Love the atmosphere around here!

They do have live music at night, which is pretty nice. They run out of a lot or are sold out of a lot early afternoon (they're open until 9). We tried this place twice- because most of the good vegan options were listed as sold out when we stopped by at 3pm the first time. We got there at noon the second time and were able to get the vegan burger- which was curried yellow lentils and rice on a basic bun. Pretty disappointing as that lunch was over $50.
