I requested a quote and 10 minutes later I handed my phone in to be fixed. The screen repair took only 20 minutes and my phone looks good as new. Staff was very nice and helpful. I would come back here for any future phone issues. read more

Absolutely terrible. I am seriously surprised by all of these positive reviews, as these people clearly have no idea what they are doing and turned my working phone with a cracked screen into a completely useless nonworking phone. I cracked the screen on my iphone 5s and went here to have them replace it. The phone worked fine, just needed the screen replaced. The guy said it would be $80 and 30 mins. I paid and came back 45 minutes later. I was told they were still working on it. After about 15 more minutes, I was told it was good as new and I left, only to realize shortly thereafter that it wasn't quite working right. So I went back, had them work on it for another 25 minutes, and then was told it was all set. So I leave, again, and make a call that sounded terrible. The speaker was clearly messed up. So I went back, again, and had them fix the speaker (after another 20 minutes). Everything seemed to be in order this time, so I left. Later that day, I tried to take a photo and my camera was not working. So I tried to restart the phone. It would not fully restart, and was stuck on the white screen with the Apple icon permanently. I was unable to get it to fully reboot with soft and hard resets, nor could I even turn it off. I went back the next day, told the guy what happened, and demanded a refund, which I received after being quite insistent. I did not receive any sort of apology or further attempt to fix it (for what would have been the fourth time). Then, I had to order a new phone through Verizon, and even with insurance, had to pay the $200 deductible. So basically, these people broke my otherwise fully functioning phone, and cost me an additional $200 to order a new one and two days without a phone in the process. I definitely learned my lesson and will only take my phone to the professionals at the Apple Store from now on. read more

Brought my son's iPhone 5c in because it would not charge. Ray looked at it, opened it up, and in short order pulled out a small lint ball (I swear I checked that already!) - mission accomplished and no charge... Until I got home and plugged it in. Still wouldn't charge. Brought it back and Ray tested the charger port, and when that was ruled out replaced the battery. Repair was done in 30min and cost much less than any other option. I left a happy customer (son was so happy to have his phone back!) and promised a 5 star review on Yelp. Relaxed on soft comfy couch while waiting and listened to BBC news fro the TV. I know where to go if I ever need anything fixed on my iPhone now... read more

I highly reccomend this shop for all phone screen needs ! They are hardworking, accommodating, and super generous! When Verizon or apple would typically rip you off for fixing your phone, this owner is always eager to help. I had my phone fixed with a glass screen protector on the house in 20 minutes! Thank you so much read more

I have been here twice and the service was okay. However, he seems a bit dishonest at times. I took my iPhone to repair the screen and it was returned with all my pictures and information deleted. I'm not sure how it happened but he claimed he didn't know what was going on. The new screen kept changing color and my phone kept switching off. Fortunately, he replaced the screen but I ultimately had to get a new phone. read more

Love this shop! I had that terrible misfortune of shattering my iphone screen on a busy Friday day. Gave these guys a call, and in a matter of grabbing a bite to eat, they had my phone fixed like brand new. It was THAT easy! They even put on a nice fancy screen to help it from future damage. Can't say enough great things. Highly recommend! read more

I walked in there yesterday 10 minutes before close, convinced that my Samsung Galaxy S3 had a broken power button. Ray told me to come by in the morning to pick up the repaired phone. When I arrived the next day, he informed me that I had diagnosed the problem wrong. And even though he replaced the button as I requested, there was a more serious electrical fault with the device. He told me not to worry about the cost of replacing the button, gave me some advice and options, and even though I walked out with a phone that was just as broken as when I brought it in, I was impressed by their professionalism and consideration. I wholly recommend Hoboken Wireless for superb customer care. read more

During the Covid-19 pandemic I shattered my screen. Luckily Hoboken Wireless was open as an essential business. The owner was extremely kind and efficient. My phone was done in about 15-20 minutes. The price is on par if not better than most but most importantly my screen is functioning perfectly. Sometimes you get a screen replaced and some buttons won't work or it freezes but everything is just as it was before I broke it. Another thing to mention is how clean the facility was and he even sanitized my phone before handing it to me. I highly recommend this family owned business. They have been in business for 20 years for a reason! read more

Definitely the best place in Hoboken to get your cell phone fixed. Sprint told me I'd be better off going to a cellular store to get a new battery & they did so much more. Next time I need a new phone I'll come here. They're very attentive & get the job done. read more

This is the place to go if you break your phone. My son threw my iPhone on the ground and broke the inner screen. (Who knew there were two screens?) Ray fixed it in about 20 minutes and it's as good as new. They charged me less than what iPulse quoted me, and they use authentic Apple parts for repairs (I have heard iPulse does not). Needless to say, I'll be going to Hoboken Wireless for my future phone repair needs. Highly recommended. read more

Ray was a pleasure to deal with. He fixed the broken rear glass on my Samsung S8 really quick, and at a very reasonable price! If you ever need your cellphone fixed, you can rest assured your cellphone will be in good hands at Hoboken Wireless. read more

Brought my IPhone in with a complete busted screen, it was repaired in less than 30 minute. Fast, pleasant service and my phone is as good as new. Giving 4 stars because at $85 I thought the price was a little high. But I am completely satisfied with my experience. read more

I had a cracked iPhone screen and this amazing place fixed it for me on a Saturday better than new (get the beveled glass top coat, people!) in a little over a half an hour and the price was astonishingly fair. Ray and his employees are the best. if you need any of the services they offer, or just want affordable phones or accessories do not hesitate to make your way to Hoboken Wireless. read more

Hoboken Wireless did a great job fixing my cracked iPhone 6 Plus screen - on Christmas Day! The owner stayed longer than expected to see us and took care of it quickly and easily. The work was great and he was a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be back! read more

Needed my phone unlocked to use overseas at the last minute. After some research, I found that this place offered the more affordable rate in the area (NYC included) to unlock a phone that was still being paid off. I was able to walk in, give my phone info to the employee, and then got a call back days later telling me my phone was unlocked and good to go. Best part was that they offered to test it out for me if I was willing to come in again, which I did. Everything worked like a charm overseas. Absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking to unlock their phone! read more

I would have given -ive stars had I got that option. TOTAL SCAM. My Story: I wanted to jailbreak my HTC because my contract was over with ATT and they were not being helpful in unlocking the phone. I wanted to give it to my brother to use it. Went to Hoboken Wireless , they asked for $80 for a jailbreak (Are you Kidding me!!!). After a lot of haggle the kid on the front desk lowered it to $60 (Special discount he said , What BS!). Got the phone back after 2 days, couldn't check because I was not carrying any spare sim card. But was assured that it will work. Went over to brother's and tried it with T mobile sim....Beeep , doesn't work!!! Came back and complained, This time to the actual owner (thats what he claimed to be). He promised to fix it for sure this time. (for $60 hell yeah you should fix it!) Went to get the phone after 2 days again. TRIED it AGAIN with t-mobile... Beep , doesn't work AGAIN!!! My brother got really fed up and got it fixed from another place he knew. What a Scamster this place is. read more

I actually have not visited their store, but their Customer Service was great when I called last week. I wanted to inquire about what the charges would be to unlock my Samsung Galaxy S5. Nas told me that there wasn't anything I needed to do because the phone was already unlocked. Conversely, I had called 2 other shops in the area and they both gave me quotes of $30 and $50... for something I didn't even need to do in the first place. Stand up people here...Thank you Nas! read more

Walked in and had my screen fixed in 30 minutes. BEST service I've had and I've cracked a few screens. Give them a call and check them out.

I call asking about a broken LCD screen for an android yesterday and the person I speak to says I need to order the screen and they can do an installation for $45. I order the screen and call in to double check and now the owner says they can't do it. He conferences in the employee to "yell" at him and threaten to fire, at that point I hang up. Just unprofessional all around, either you can do a service or not, don't tell potential customers one thing, have them spend time and money to buy a part, then tell them the next day it was a waste of your time. I do not recommend and would suggest going elsewhere for phone repairs. read more

THIS IS HOW YOU RUN YOUR BUSINESS: great customer service! When the phone couldn't be fixed immediately, my daughter was given a loaner and we were told to come back the next day. Next day we got a call that the phone was "more broken" than he had originally thought (which can happen, Kari C.!) and in the end, we received a new phone so that his customer would be happy. No extra charge. I told him I would write a glowing review, and as I see he has a plethora of those, our experience is not unique. It's hard owning a tiny business these days, and this is how you get and keep customers: giving 5 star customer service! read more

Shattered my screen when I fell today while running on Garden street. Good thing is it saved my palm as I used it as a shield. Paid little over one Benjamin to these guys and after 40 mins, it was back to like brand new and they put tampered glass screen protector complimentary. I am typing this review on it and now is time to eat some worms, font freak out I meant slither.io :) read more

Stopped in with a touchscreen that was failing and damage was done. Nas had me in and out of there without 20 minutes. Superb service.

Phone repaired in 30 minutes and Nas was super friendly. Can't recommend this place enough. So angry that my screen shattered but Nas made my wait super manageable and made me forget how angry I wass! read more

This place is the absolute best. Ray recommended a pair of earphones that has been the best value purchase of earphones I've ever made. Furthermore, he goes above and beyond to help his customers. If he can't fix a problem, he always provides you the best course of action. He also went above and beyond to answer silly questions and fix my screen protector and case multiple times. Essentially, if it broke Hoboken Wireless is the place to go. read more

They responded very quickly to my request for a quote, and when I did bring it in they fixed it within a half hour for a very fair price. I would definitely recommend them. read more

I was ready to buy a new iPhone when the LED would not turn off. I tried running the battery to 0% and powering off, but the light still was on. (Verizon said that was my only option, since the iPhone4 could not be fixed.) Ray took one quick look and immediately opened it up, and did his magic. The only time I waited was for the battery to juice up a bit. He was recommended by my PC technician, and deservedly so. I highly recommend Hoboken Wireless for any cell phone repairs. read more

Brought my iphone 7 in for a repair. New screen looked washed out and not close to flush with the frame. So I was a little bummed since it looked like they were using one of the cheaper grades of 3rd party screens. After walking around with the phone in my front pocket for a few hours the new screen cracked again. After returning to the store next day, they refused to replace the screen. After calling the manager, they agreed to replace the 24hr old screen for $30.. I decided to dispute the charge and find a store which has more expertise and uses higher end screens. All aftermarket parts are not same, there is good article on mac rumors explaining iphone parts and repair ecosystem spells out what to look for..... read more

I had a great experience here! I had to repair my home button on my iphone. In and out in 5 minutes! Only $25 bucks when the apple store were telling me i needed to change my whole screen for $150. My screen was in perfect condition and found that ridiculous. I called Hoboken Wireless and made my phone look good as new. Thank you!! read more

Job was (should have been) simple. Replacing a cracked screen on an iPad 3. What I got back - for $110 - was a new screen so badly fitted, you can see the very prominent stress marks on the glass whenever there is a plain background. Plus the new screen is held in place by very ugly crimping - it looks like crush damage - at all four corners. Don't go here. Great promises, expensive prices, shoddy amateurish work. read more

Quick, reasonable and so helpful. Went in with a shattered screen, went across the street for 20 minutes to get my nails done, and came back to my phone good as new. He also recommended and gave me a good deal on a phone case so that I hopefully don't end up in that predicament again. Highly recommend!!!! read more

Hoboken Wireless is great. I had a shattered iPhone 6s screen and my LED screen was damaged too. They both got replaced quickly. I was told 30 mins but it was more like 15-20 mins. He also threw in a free screen protector and put it on for me too. Great service and fair price. My phone looks brand new. read more
