Their business reminds me of what customer service used to be like - caring about every customer and being a pro at what you do. After dropping my LG G2 two feet on a hardfloor floor, I ended up with a shattered non-working screen. This happened Friday night before Jonas hit. Ray worked on my phone over the weekend and had my phone back to me on Monday. Unfortunately, the moment I tried to restart my phone it completely died unresponsive to any attempts to restart. Ray took it back in and managed to back up all of my 2000+ contacts before replacing the motherboard for a very small fee. After that, there was an issue with the sound - speaker was not working. Turns out some part was loose and Ray fixed it for FREE. Now, the only thing that remains non-working after the drop is that GPS doesn't work. As a real estate agent, I can't be on the road without a GPS. I am going back in there today confident that Ray will be able to help me. Overall, 5+++ starts outfit. My Galaxy S9 was ran over by a car! This thing was done, cracked and completely shattered. I had kind of just gotten the phone 8 months prior so I cried of course. I had important things on there and not everything was entirely backed up, not to mention, I literally work with my phone. Next day, I bought a cheap phone and had that since. I didn't think anything could be done to save my S9 but i still came to Hoboken Wireless just to test my luck. I don't know the gentleman's name that took a look at the phone but he pretty much said he can get the job done for a super reasonable price in my opinion (about $230). Compared to getting a new S9 without any of my information, this was a STEAL. He said the color would be different but I didn't care. A day later he was done and when I picked it up i felt like I had a new phone! I couldn't even believe it and EVERYTHING WAS WORKING PERFECTLY AND GOT EVERYTHING BACK!! I came here a few months ago to fix my phone screen. I had broken it at a party and the shop replaced it very quickly. Then about two days later i broke my phone again because i did not bother to put my phone in a case. The owner replaced it a second time without making me feel foolish. He then suggested that i get a case but i stupidly said no because i had ordered a different case. I broke my phone a THIRD time due to my carelessness and I came back almost in tears. The shop replaced my screen for free which i was so so thankful for. I then referred Hoboken Wireless to my dad who broke his phone. Hoboken Wireless replace my dad's phone and gave him a free case. I would recommend this store to anyone. They are friendly, helpful, and make you feel like your phone is in good hands. They made my phone screen look like new and like it had never been replace. Was referred to this place by my mom when I dropped my iPhone (without a screen protector on) and the screen shattered. I always had a screen protector on. The original protector had a crack across the screen when I dropped my cell. The screen protector cracked but not the cell phone's which I was relieved about. I removed the cracked screen protector, having ordered a new screen protector to put on my phone. But one thing led to another and never got around to putting the protector on. I've been lucky until today and one slip from my hands into pavement shattered the screen. Surprisingly, I was still able to text without errors despite the shattered screen that looked like 5 separate fireworks lol. Mom took me to this immediately after, they told me yes they can repair it in 45 minutes. I've broken my screen 3 times. Each time Ray has been fast, consistent, and reasonable with price. This place deserves a quadruple thumbs up! When you drop your phone he'll give you a time to come back. Each time he called it was on time or earlier! This is the man beating to his own drum and totally rocking it! Do you accept kisses...or would you prefer cash?? That's what I said to RAY when he told me that my HTC Desire 820 dual sim phone was "Unlocked" and receiving data!! Do you accept kisses? I purchased the phone a year ago (June 2015) in Hong Kong unlocked. Took it to AT&T who got the phone working and receiving data, etc. All was right with the world...until October 2016 when HTC sent me a system upgrade which LOCKED my phone and knocked out my data access. AT&T could not fix the problem. HTC in the U.S. and Taiwan (I called) could not fix the problem. Someone said take it to Hoboken Wireless. Ray fixed the problem. Truly Excellent Service!! After both Verizon and Apple quoted me $300+ to replace the screen of my Iphone 5c I went on a search for a cheaper refurbished phone to use until my next upgrade. I came into Hoboken Wireless with the intention to purchase a refurbished phone for $190, I happened to mention that I smashed my phone (the screen was cracked an LCD display ruined) which was why I needed the replacement, Ray (who I assume was the owner) looked at my smashed phone and said "Oh! I can fix this for you for $70" and fixed it on the spot in less then 15min!! I almost kissed him! If I ever break a phone again this will be my first stop! So friendly and stayed open an extra few minutes to fix my phone for me. Plus, he saved me over $120 - $230! You can't beat that! read more

My screen was completely broken and the screen actually started to turn black. In total panic, thinking my phone was ruined I desperately tried to go to this place before it closed. It was 7:30pm (place closes at 8pm) and the owner looked like he was packing up to close the store. He saw my desperation, looked at my phone and sat back down to fix it. This time I also asked to buy the best protector in the store, so I got an Otterbox. So pleased with it. Not only did he help me tremendously, he threw in a discount on both the repair service and the Otterbox. I'm usually skeptical of places that aren't Apple or Sprint for my phone needs, but this place is fantastic! I cracked my iPhone 6 and it was so bad that the white part of the phone above the screen was peeling off. After reading the reviews on Yelp, I took it to Hoboken Wireless and within 45 minutes my phone looked brand new. They even put a glass screen protector on it for free. I paid a total of $107 for a fixed phone and new phone case, which is $33 cheaper than I could have gotten just the phone fixed at Apple for. The phone case I got (Tech21) was retailed at the Verizon store in Herald Square for $39.99, but was only $20 at Hoboken Wireless. 10/10 would recommend - you won't be disappointed! read more

After dropping on the street, my iPhone got a crack and turned green, and lost control on the key pads. After running between the Apple store and Verizon office, it seemed that I needed to buy a new device. As a last resort, I stopped by Hoboken Wireless. Ray told me that I would not need to buy a device. He told me to come back in 20 min. I did come back and found the phone was fixed. As he told me, the replacement of the screen solved the issue. I saved at least a few hundred dollars! I would go back to consult with any future trouble with my cell phone to Ray. You've been warned! DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY YOUR BUSINESS. This guy is a real sleaze ball! He'll tell you to drop your phone off and come back in an hour. While you're gone he will "fix it" cosmetically but he may take your battery and swap it with a defective one and who knows what else! Your phone will never work the same again. I went to get my screen repaired. Next thing you know my phone battery can't hold a charge! I paid $100 for the screen fix than he wanted another $50 to replace the battery and "glue" the re-damaged screen back due to the defective battery he installed pushing it out. Just like all the other reviews say, Hoboken Wireless is SO helpful! I was having trouble with some dust in my phone and my SIM card and the owner helped be clear it out no problem. My phone screen (and screen protector) were in pretty rough shape and he asked me if I wanted them to be replaced and I said no. However, after helping with the dust and SIM card so quickly I changed my mind and said yes to having both replaced as I knew he would do a good job. My boyfriend and I went to att to switch him over to their service and they told us he needed to get his verizon phone unlocked. We were referred to Hoboken Wireless by att to get his phone unlocked. When we arrived, we asked if they would be able to unlock my boyfriend's phone. The owner asked what service my boyfriend had and laughed when we told him Verizon. "Verizon phones come unlocked, I'm not going to take your money for no reason." He then proceeded to take his att sim card and put it into my boyfriend's phone to show us. The only place i trust to fix my phone. Today i went because my screen completely shattered when it dropped on the floor. I was greeted by Nas who assured me he can fix it. I waited maybe 15-20 mins top and it was done. When i saw the screen looked brand new just as the day i baught it. Like i said this place is great this wasnt my first time ive had another previous iphone and the battery needed to be replaced and they did so and it worked perfectly.
