I sent them a message on their website when I couldn't receive updates via text and they were able to send me an email when my replacement battery arrived. This is one of the very rare occasions where I feel frustrated enough to leave a negative review. I dropped off my MacBook for a screen repair on June 25, and was told it would be fixed within a few business days. After receiving no updates, I called them on July 3 around noon, and they assured me it would be ready in 2-3 hours, promising to call me back. They didn't. Later that same day, I called again and was explicitly told my device would be ready for pick up before closing. Based on that assurance, I arranged an Uber pickup, only to have my Uber driver arrive and then be informed that the repair wasn't actually complete. They explained that the new part they ordered wasn't compatible with my device's camera, requiring them to order another part and causing further delays. Another week later, on July 11, I followed up and was told the ordered part had been delayed, forcing me to wait another week. On July 18, I called again and learned--for the first time--that the logic board had burned out, a critical issue that they had never mentioned previously when doing diagnostics. Throughout this entire process, communication, professionalism, and timely updates were completely lacking. If I hadn't continually called them, I probably would never have received any status updates. Finally, when I decided to retrieve my MacBook and have the repair done directly at an Apple Store, this place did not clarify whether my laptop still had the original cracked screen or the incompatible replacement they installed. They provided no clear information until after I requested a refund, at which point they used the incompatible replacement they installed was still in the Macbook as a reason to deny my refund request. Overall, an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place for repairs. And i guess they never look at these reviews as well. read more

Total rip off spot. Went in with a warranted iPhone and they had no idea what to do. Took the phone apart and had problems putting it back together. They tried to charge me a fee and when told it was warranted they demanded a $30 fee for "cleaning" the phone. Apple should disown them from this horrendous gyp spot. read more

If you don't want to go to the Apple Store, going to the Mobile Kangaroo store is an alternative. I came here for a Mac Laptop screen issue. Do keep in mind the following caveats: PROs * It is in New Jersey * You may be able to find same-day time slots * In theory, it is close to the light rail Other * If you need your device within a short time period, do consider this within your decision-making. I delivered my laptop for a screen replacement on a Monday and got my laptop the following Tuesday. Thus, it was over a week and an entire weekend without my laptop. * I waited and waited several days having given my laptop on a Monday. By Thursday afternoon, I submitted a ticket to know what is the status and associated feeds. I do give them credit for them answering my ticket fast as I received an immediate email with notifications, stating the fee. I wonder if I didn't email them if I would have heard from them. * As the other reviewer mentioned, this place will add other fees like: ** Laptop cleanup ** Check up which is refundable ONLY if you continue with their suggestion ** Back up which was like over $200. I don't think so. * By that Tuesday, I didn't hear back after I paid for the repair on Thursday and I immediately heard back with a feedback which I appreciate. If I could turn back time, I would have gone to the Apple Store and waited an initial day (since the earliest appointment available was on a Tuesday instead of same-day Monday) since I need my laptop. If you dont mind not having your device for a few days or if they can do the repair at the store, do consider coming here. read more

I showed up here for an iPhone 12 battery replacement, which they knew I was coming for beforehand. They then tell me that they don't have the part so I'll have to pay now and come back in 4 business days. Then after checking out the phone and diagnosing that I don't actually need any service from them they refunded me but kept $20 because the guy clicked 2 buttons on his computer to run diagnostics, which by the way, they do for free at the Apple Store. I'm not sure why you would ever come here if you need any mac service. Lesson learned that you must go to the Apple Store or find a better local tech. Surely, you'll receive much better service and you won't walk out feeling like you've been scammed. read more
