I broke my screen on my old phone and couldn't transfer the data to my new phone. The screen was completely unresponsive and I really wanted my photos (didnt have them backed up). Took it to the store and the owner gave me a temporary screen and let me use the stores wifi to transfer the data. The owner was very nice and patient with me and only charged me $60 for the whole thing whereas his greedy competition down the street (The Fix) was trying to charge me $200 like i was stupid or smth. Really, As good as it gets. We´ve used them twice now and we could not be happier with the service. It´s a family run business where people actually care and show appreciation for their customers. They fixed my wife´s screen twice (yep, she refuses to use a phone case). That´s how much she loves this service! The second time it happened the phone didn´t work well so we called them back to see what they could do about it. They told me to come by and they will fix it no problem. When we got there they asked me if I had the receipt, which of course I didn´t, and they told me not to worry. I ended up finding it later but he only used it to find the reference number. My iPhone screen broke and in 15 minutes my phone was back! The 2 men behind the counter were super nice and helpful! I got my screen fixed a little over a month ago at ipulse and had to go back the next morning because the screen they put on immediately didn't work. They had no more in stock. I came in with a cracked iPhone 7plus screen. Although there were other customers in the store and Ray was the only one on duty, he eventually got to my phone and repaired it, only to find that the brand new screen had a non-responsive area. Yesterday, My iPhone X hit the floor screen side down and I just innately knew this was the big one. I picked up my phone to see a terrible crack that exacerbated the leaking LCD on the bottom right corner from a fall months prior. I have never actually enjoyed getting a phone fixed before, but Ray at Hoboken Wireless was fantastic. I have a pretty beat-up iPhone 6 and last night I dropped it again, and the screen came off the frame a little. The phone and screen still worked, but you could see a bit of separation at the top and sides of the metal frame, which I figured probably wasn't great. I went on Yelp to find a phone repair place, and messaged two businesses for a quote at 11:52 PM, not expecting a reply until morning. Hoboken Wireless messaged me ten minutes later at 12:02 AM (seriously?! Wow!) with a $15 quote, so I decided to drop by. Truthfully, I was kind of wishing I hadn't picked a place in Hoboken because I live in Jersey City with no car, and ideally I'd want a place that's not as far of a walk, but I went anyway and I'm so glad I did. Ray took a look and in about two seconds he could tell that beyond the frame issue, I'd bent some screws and my battery wasn't doing so great. But even though he could see what was going on, he never did any pushy upselling - just gave me an friendly, honest assessment of what he saw and fixed the frame for me in under a minute. And to top it all off, he didn't even charge me because he said it was such a simple fix. The fact that he was willing to be so honest and kind from the very first visit spoke volumes about Hoboken Wireless's integrity and how they've done business for so long. No need to nickel and dime people when a business can trust the quality of their work to keep people coming back! Took it to Apple and they quoted me $300 to fix (allegedly in addition to the cracks, my phone was bent, though not discernible to any reasonable person's naked eye).
