Back in the summer I would have given this place a five star review. Not anymore. There's nothing worse than breaking your phone screen. In all my years as an iPhone user I had NEVER cracked a screen. Until this summer- my iPhone 6 met the pavement by the pool. I panicked and ran to Hoboken Wireless for a new screen the next day. They did it on just a few hours and had t back to me good as new. Or so I thought. The next day the screen was lifting off like the glue didn't take- so I went back in. The owner apologized and quickly fixed the error and put a screen protector on it. I was happy. A few weeks later it lifted again and I didn't have the time to bring it in AGAIN. FINALLY I couldn't take it anymore (a week ago) went back in and a young guy fixed it. This time they wanted to charge me again. I was upset because I didn't break the screen, it wasn't attached properly the first two times. I paid 45 bucks for a while new screen because he said it had to be replaced. 2 hours later I got it back. Now I sit here typing this review at my wits end because the bottom left corner and left side of my screen is lifting off AGAIN and ticks every time I tap to text. I'm so fed up with this place I can't believe I have to set foot in there again. I might as well upgrade. **update** I now have to get rid of this phone because the screen has lifted off so much that it disconnects from the display and I get crazy colored lines all over and flashing. Please note I have not dropped the phone since the initial break. So upset. read more

Nas, whom is amazing said he could fix it but it would be an hour because someone was ahead of me, which I was fine with. My phone mind you, had chunks out of it and cracks everywhere! Scam. Business run by a bunch of sleazy cheapskates. I was referred here by AT&T on Washington to fix a cracked screen (which AT&T said they couldn't fix themselves). jonathan at AT&T said it would cost $50 and take 20mins...when I went there they told me $80 and 45mins. When I confronted them by saying AT&T mentioned it would only cost $50, he proceeded to call AT&T reached the manager on the phone and said hey remember me? I'm the guy who sends you guys lunch...I'd like to speak to Jonathan on the phone. Conveniently Jonathan was unable to make it to the phone. I'm so disgusted with the shady "business" going on here that frankly even if they offered it to me for less i wouldn't give them a dime. Gross. read more

I've broken my iPhone 6 twice since purchasing it, and both times Ray did an excellent job of making sure the screen was in top condition. He takes the extra time to make sure everything works, meticulously cleans the phone as he goes, and completes the job accurately and ahead of schedule. About 9 months ago I took my iphone X to get the screen replaced. He did it on the spot for a relatively reasonable price so I was happy. When I got home the face recognition wasn't working and I found out online the security is hardware locked, so I took it back to have it repaired. After blaming me for bringing it there in the first place like that (which wasn't the case), he took my number down to call me when another iphone screen comes in to replace the face recognition. He never called but I let it go because it was too much trouble, now 9 months later the screen is completely not working. Awful experience all together. read more

I came here on my birthday because my phone screen stopped working, nothing was cracked or broken. When I brought it to Hoboken Wireless the customer service was impeccable the second I walked in. They advised me that my iPhone had a rare screen disease but also were nice enough to give me a loaner iPhone because they knew I needed it for the weekend. 2 days later my iPhone was returned in perfect condition and back to working. It might be a great store but I was mislead in regards to repair. Took iPhone for repair. After a week, I was experiencing the same problem. When I called, I was advise that the repair had no warranty and that I needed to pay again. I was advised that the repair was not 100% guarantee to work but that I wouldn't have to pay unless repaired, unfortunately, it wasn't the case. I Texted the owner and was advised to bring cell back to diagnose it. I was charged again for the repair. Three weeks later phone was broken again for the same problem. I end up buying a new phone and given the damaged one to a family member who had it repaired outside the US and after almost 1 year, still working perfectly! read more

Two words: Life Saver! I was able to call ahead to make sure my broken screen could be fixed as my phone is an older model. Not only did he have the parts on site, my phone was fixed in under 1 HOUR. My phone looks and feels brand new and in the end will save me a ton of money since I don't have to get a new phone right away (when my screen broke, I was scrambling to get an appointment at Verizon in this covid-era way of doing things but the Hoboken location is only open weekends and my phone broke on a Monday). In the Apple store, this would mean a 20-minute wait to talk to the next guy. Here, it meant he started working on my phone right away! Fast & Quality Service. I was immediately greeted when I walked in and told it would take 45 minutes to fix my cracked iPhone 6s screen. I was thrilled since I live in town and had errands to do and told them I'd come back in a hour. When I returned, my phone literally looked brand new. I purchases a new case & screen protector in hopes I will not again crack my screen. Those purchases were 20% because I got my phone repaired there. My IPhone 6s was unable to charge and Apple said that they were unable to fix the charging port. Having not backed up my photos to the Cloud, I was resigning myself to the fact that I would lose seven years worth of memories when I found Hoboken Wireless. Hoboken wireless is great, fast and easy to work with. I was in and out within 30 mins for switching the battery for my IPhone. The battery would randomly die at any percent.
