I'm a frequent customer at this location and always receive excellent customer service! The store is always clean and organized and easy to navigate. They always have good sales too! Today 4/29 i was serviced by the lady up front with curly hair and flashy eyeshadow. Normally it's not an issue. Today i felt like i bothered her. I came in and got what i needed and proceeded to the register where she was. I brought my toddler along, and had my hands full. I paid in cash. Amongst trying to make sure my toddler didn't run off, me gathering my items, and putting my change back in my wallet, i didn't realize i had to be rushed through this process. She attempted to hand me my reciept as i was putting my change up, guess i took too long and she slammed my receipt on the counter and looked away. Okkkkkk lol. Was definitely rude. I'll still return bc she's one of many, i'll just avoid her. :) read more

Wonderful selection of everything home decor and craft wise that you would ever want and thousands of things you never knew you needed. Can't imagine how many SKU's this store manages, but it's a lot. Today we went for some framing. This place is really great in terms of selection. If you can't find a pre-made frame that meets your fancy, then use their custom services. John manages the framing department and was super helpful in helping us find a frame we saw on the Internet. We went home and framed our photo and oops, there was a bubble streak in the glass. Brought it back and John was like, no problem, let's cut you a new piece. They even have a framing table if you want to frame your own artwork there. Anyway, John helped us reassemble and we were on our way. What attentive, kind and caring service. Hobby Lobby has a great selection of arts and crafts. This Hobby Lobby I went to seems to be way bigger than any Michael's/other arts & crafts store I've been to. Hubby and I stopped in in November to check out there huge holiday clearance. For whatever odd reason, they were putting their Christmas decorations up to 90% off!! Crazy, right? We managed to snag a pretty cute wicker collar for our Christmas tree and some cute ornaments (for about $3 each!) here. Loved what they had to offer and totally wish I could've bought out the whole store. :D read more

I went to Hobby Lobby for a specific art set with colored pencils. When I entered I wandered to the right of the store to search. Turns out I was completely on the wrong side of the store. An employee who was busy organizing her aisle saw me wandering by looking lost. She walked away from her project and offered me assistance. When I told her what I was looking for she didn't just point in a general direction. She actually took the time to walk me over to the other side of the store to the exact item I was looking for. Man I just love this place! It is my favorite place to shop for my home and garden decors. This is a one stop shop if you ask me! Closed on Sunday's which I love because this is a Christian based store. So Sunday's belong to family time and church, so Hobby Lobby is closed, and I truly hope they keep this tradition. Coupons for half off full priced items you can find online, but they prices of everything here are such a great deal. For stuff, this Hobby Lobby is great. It's huge and well-stocked. Everyone obviously agrees with me because it's crazy-busy and difficult to navigate around the aisles at times. (PS - I wish the fabric section had more Texas-specific prints. There were college prints but nothing for the state as a whole.) Customer service was a little bumpy. This location just opened recently. It is on the fairly larger side which is a huge plus since that means there's more options to choose from. I came here looking for some fake flowers for a project. They had a large selection of seasonal flowers that were on sale and also non-seasonal ones. You can typically find coupons online that are almost equivalent to the sales they have on seasonal stuff they are trying to get rid of. The lines were fairly long since it seemed that they were short staffed but I was in no rush. Hopefully they will hire more people so the wait won't be as bad next time. read more

As far as Customer Service goes this is the worst Hobby Lobby I have ever shopped in! At the fabric department I asked for a specific fabric that I've seen online was told they didn't have it, and then they proceeded to show me the exact fabric I have asked for as a substitute.??? Then I was looking for laminating sheets; no one to be found to ask where they would be. Finally saw the general manager and asked him. At first he sent me to the wrong aisle. Then he waved me down to another part of the store and told me to look in the paper craft area. No specific aisle, just "go look". When he saw me again he asked if I found it, I said no then he pointed me to yet another aisle and said they're down there. Guess what? They are not there. As I started to walk out of the store I found another young man and I asked him where the laminating sheets might be. He said I don't know. Well, at least he was honest. He tried to help me but he was really clueless. Needless to say I left the store without the laminating sheets. I guess I'll stick to the Hobby Lobby in Frisco or Little Elm where the employees actuality help you. read more

Brand new hobby lobby opened up. This one is no different then the others: same layout, same custom framing services, and about the same size. They offer a seasonal section and their christmas section is just starting as well as the Halloween decor is in full force. We were here for frames and they didn't have the type of frames we were looking for. They only offered country and shabby chic crap. We were looking forl modernist simple frames for reasonable prices. Guess I should have known better. They do offer 40% off their prices all the time. Giving the illusion that it's cheaper. It wasn't trashy everyone seemed nice and I only had 2 items. I waited for the lady in front of me (there were barely any people at the lines) the cashier obnoxiously kept laughing with the Lady in front. As I walk towards the this tall African American cashier lady (in hopes the store knows who it is) maybe in her 30s has the most offensive customer service. I was hoping they accepted Apple Pay. As I started to say "do you accept ap" she replied. "NOPE" I chuckled I found it insulting no manners whatsoever. So yes I asked again "do you accept Apple Pay" with a confused tone since she did not let me finish my sentence and replied with a nasty attitude. She had the audacity to reply "Yeahhhh I did say NO so no" I'm a very sweet person, yet this made me hot!!! Still politely I apologize for giving her a extra trip to return my two items. And she still kept saying "no Apple Pay ok no Apple pay!" with a overly exaggerated eye roll. I'm currently sitting in their parking lot doing this. I will come back and record her service I truly hope god enlightenments your decisions before I catch you act like this again mean obnoxious rude lady. read more

It's alright. I prefer Michael's. The people aren't really helpful when you're trying to find something in such a big store. Although there was one time when I went and asked for help, a gentleman went out of his way to help me find something the ulimately didn't carry. The people at the register are generally not helpful, or nice when you greet them, or ask a question, especially when your trying to return an item. The woman in the fabric section was awesome! I was in there the day after Christmas and she helped cut fabric for me. I was just gifted a sewing machine and she gave me some very helpful tips! I will say that the scissors in the fabric department were almost double the amount in store than on amazon. I love hobby lobby though! Hobby lobby as a company is great; however i find it sad that this particular store has done such a horrible job in customer service. I've been in dozens of times and each time it's been a horrible experience. I have place multiple large special orders and never received a phone call for any of them. I actually had employees argue with me and tell me that voicemails had been left when I know for a fact that they weren't. Never again! This location is so much closer to my home and I was super excited when it opened since I am there at least once a week for work. Too bad that I will still have to go to the other Plano location because they have phenomenal customer service and know how to treat customers. Management needs to get their act together. read more

Just left Hobby Lobby and we were trying to make some quick decisions because it was announced that the store was closing. As we were walking to the cash register I noticed that my husband and I had the same item (a small box) I placed it on an aisle display area rather than walk back and put it in its proper place. I employee saw where I had placed it, snatched it up and over my head and said "ma'am are you not going to buy that"!. Sorry to put her out but we were simply trying to get out of the store quickly... as requested. What a hateful old women!!!! read more

On Saturday 5/18/2019, I went to Hobby lobby Plano TX park blvd and tollway. I went to make some purchases and it was raining and storming that day. There was a power outage in the area for only about 20 minutes but hobby lobby put paper signs on both doors locked up the store and said on the sign sorry closed power outage!! But the lights were on and I could see employees in the store this was at 6:45 PM the store closes at 8 PM. That is absolutely horrible business not to re-open the store that company lost a lot of money that day because of those employees and I'm sure they lied to their corporate offices and said the power was not back on when in fact it was. Manager is also horribly rude to customers this is another review from a second complaint on a different day that's why am voicing my opinion because two things back to back with the same exact store makes me very frustrated and the manager is horrible!! I Spend a lot of money at Hobby lobby but I will not be going back ever again after my experience and that's really sad because I spend a TON of money there!! At Home is better anyway and customer service is so great there. read more

3 times and no complaints. The store from the outside looks big but is actually a little smaller than you think. I believe the other locations might have a larger selection of certain select goods. I came here to find some fresh models that haven't been sitting on a shelf for 3 years. They had models with more recent production dates, but no new choices. I also wish they had a larger rocket selection as well. I ended up buying a display case, a bunch of rubber band powered airplanes, and blank sheets of iron on transfers. All the employees I saw walking around made sure to ask me if I needed help, instead of just acting like I don't exist. Lastly I don't like the return processes, they don't do exchanges, just refunds and again(that is nothing new). read more

I am a huge fan of Hobby Lobby, but do not like having to wait in line for over 10min when the store is not busy at all & there are 3 employees standing around at the check out lines chatting and only one employee actually checking customers out. Perhaps better management would be a plus. read more
