Today I had the worst experience at this hobby lobby! I went in looking for a heavy glass tabletop. I went to ask a nice employee that I needed some help, which she called but no one came, I waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come help and no one showed up. I had to pick it up myself and put it into my cart, there was enough employees around to at least come and help! read more

We waited in line for 50 minutes to checkout day after Christmas. Lines were crazy. But amazing sale and staff were friendly.

Another great find today for me at Hobby Lobby. Came in looking for spring decor and found so many great things. Loved all the big mirrors as well. Service is always great at this location and it's well organized and clean. Parking lot can get full really quick with all the nearby shops, but never an issue finding a spot. read more

Tons of home decor. Especially items to hang on the walls. So many different decorating aesthetics are represented here. There is something for every room in a home; at any age. Store is primarily home decorating. The back third of the store was craft supplies. Not as many craft supplies as one finds at a Michael's (this Hobby Lobby looks like a Michael's inside,) but still enough to get one's craft on. Many promotions were happening during my visit. Two of the big ones were a % off Spring items, and % off tabletop decor. There weren't really lines at checkout. Items I was purchasing for someone else were missing price tags. (They were the last ones.) Someone from that department came up quickly, and was able to tell the cashier a price. Prices on everything else I looked at were clearly marked. read more

Everything from home decor to crafting goodies! A really cool place for seasonal items as well. They offer many isles of holoday items when they come around offering a large selection. I always like Hobby Lobby. As much as I may travel, I actually like to stay home and when I have extended time at home, I like to come to a Hobby Lobby store to look for ideas for something to make. This particular store was well organized and clean. It was a busy weekend with some sales going. They had plenty of staff at cashiers and when they got busier, management quickly acted and added a couple of more cashiers to assist customers. I bought stuff that was not on sale and the staff wanted to make sure I was aware of that at the check out. read more

This place has the worse management. They are super rude and have no customer service. This is the only one that treats customers so poorly. Kathryn hides in the back--Katelin and Christina are horrible. They try to rip people off. Go to Mayo or Goodyear. Brain and Amy go out of their way to help. Don't trust the prices! Identical items are marked different prices, sometimes a 50% difference! If you don't know to look, you're getting scammed if you take a higher priced item. Shame on this! I did not know the power or a good hobby until my wife showed me. She has made me a fan, a believer and hobby lobby enthusiast. Sometimes I act like I go there because she need to get something, but really I just like looking around. It's clean, it smells nice, there are tons of things to look at... they have a whole side of the store dedicated to flower and the other side dedicated to fabric... mind blown. Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite stores. They are always clean, well stocked, and organized! However, this most recent trip was very upsetting. I bought about $120 worth of cake decorating supplies. Upon opening up everything today to use, the most expensive item (a cake decorating box set) is missing half of what the box is supposed to include. Hobby Lobby has been my go-to store since I began creating as a child and even up unto now. My last project was shadow boxing a special gift given to me which was a wooden plaque and I wanted to hang it without drilling a hole which would crack the wood. The shadow box was originally $30 but I got it rung up for $15. Whereas right before my visit to Hobby Lobby I had gone to a framing store to get a shadowbox and the same size cost $112. Hobby Lobby is good about sales, it's usually 50% off of everything all the time. I've purchased countless frames, prints, canvases, mirrors, candle making material, art supplies, and even sculptures from here. If you need expertise on a hobby or project, come here and just ask the appropriate staff, they'll be in their respected areas. I think I always spend an hour or more here each visit and it's mostly because I get distracted at their unique items. If you go behind the seasonal section, you'll find gold. This is the discount sections where items are so unique the prices have been slashed countless times. The last time I was here, I found a Red British Phonebooth, a Star Wars Millennium Falcon Blueprint, and a lit up LED theater sign. I love this place. read more

I am so sick of the lines at this store, or any hobby lobby. You get one store employee who does not care about checking people out in a timely manner and your are screwed! This whole "multiple lines" thing is the most unfair system ever. Get with it and do one single line!! I have been waiting for 15 minutes in my line while other just fly through. These cashiers do not care. And when you have "two" open forming in from one line, goes way faster. Ridiculous set up. read more

We then are checking out and see a whole area full of table chargers. Also the prices are double the prices of Target. Not coming back. read more

I absolutely love the store, it is my absolute favorite store and I shop their faithfully, but the customer service is just so beyond ridiculous, I don't even know where to start. Everything is up high in this store, all the good fun non scratched stuff, and nobody ever wants to help, and when you ask for help, it's a problem and they look miserable. One lady gave her coworker a dirty look and was yelling at another coworker because he was getting a ladder for us. He wasn't as fast as she wanted him to be but you can only move so fast with the ladder in a ton of people around. They were freaking out because they didn't have stuff stocked at the bottom that wasn't scratched up or damaged, so my husband went and got it himself from the middle part. They were huffing and puffing, making smart remarks under their breath, all because I asked my husband to get one that wasn't messed up. Because we all know if we plan now a scratch or chip or a dent. It's a huge problem for a discount on their end, and I will pay for what I want. Completely unprofessional.. but I kept shopping, got to the other side of the store.. I have a newborn in the cart and my toddler with me as well, and I turned the corner, and a worker just cut me off and ran into my cart. It wasn't a terrible run to the cart, but it was the purpose of it. Didn't even apologize and kept it moving, I said out loud that I'm sorry, and she didn't even acknowledge it just thought it was rude and unprofessional in a workplace.. if you don't like a store that people like to shop for their house and stuff like that then maybe find another job. I have to share my experience, because It made all the world of a difference for me. I went to Hobby Lobby to purchase a specific mirror I had wanted and it was in stock (Now, keep in mind the store was VERY busy, so I wasn't expecting anyone to be available to help me, or if I did see an employee I was expecting them to not be kind because of how chaotic this time of year is). I was about to take it up front when I was then told by a woman (I didn't get her name, or I would have loved to include her in this review) that she would take the large mirror up to the front for me. I told her I would help her because it was an extra large 4ft mirror and she ended up putting it at the front for me to check out. The lines were long, yes. But that is to be expected this time of year. I was just grateful someone helped me take it to the front, because I was expecting to have to lug the mirror through the long line on my own. Once it came to paying, I was then rung up from the kind young cashier who noticed how large the item was and asked if she could get someone to help me get it to my car. I was so happy! I don't normally purchase large items without my husband with me so this entire experience was a little terrifying and uncertain for me to begin with. That's when Carlos arrived and rolled it out to my car with me and his assistance was incredible. I want to thank the entire staff who helped me yesterday and made my shopping trip seamless and now I have my new mirror and it looks perfect in my home. 10/10 would recommend this location. I love Hobby Lobby, especially this new location, which opened a couple of weeks ago. As somebody who used to work at Jo-Ann's and know about arts and crafts, I am a major fan of this Hobby Lobby. They have almost every single thing imaginable for arts and crafts, as well as, home decor items, different models (i.e. cars, planes, and trains). The only reason I am giving this four out of five stars is because the staff isn't super friendly. They definitely don't go out of their way to help you. Also, because the fabric selection isn't nearly as big as Jo-Ann's. Other than that, they have so many unique and random products and it's really amazing! Although I really do like Hobby Lobby and their prices, I wasn't happy with store hours. The hours on their door indicate closing at 8 PM. I went to the store and found out different.. It was my first time going hobby lobby and I was trying buy paint. When I got up to the cashier I was trying to use a coupon. She told me that I could only use it on 2 bottles which was fine. I was going to call my mom to make sure it was okay. She got all rude and started talk bad about her co-workers in front of customers which is unprofessional. I decided to not purchase anything and walk out because I am not okay with people that talk bad about people behind their back and are rude to customers. Daniel was awesome in the framing department! I recently lost my father and my mother and I needed to get a portrait framed for his memorial. We realized it would take at least 10-14 days to complete a custom frame but we needed it sooner. He worked with my mother and was very patient to help us create something with frames they already carried and it came out perfect. My mother loves it. He helped ease the stress of our situation and seeing the smile on my mothers face after everything we have been going through, I can't thank him enough! read more

They have got to figure out how to check people out quicker. I waited in line for almost ten minutes and not one person moved in any of the 3 lines. I was ready to walk out and leave the stuff I was buying. Another lady finally opened a register and seemed to have a problem with the fact that I was irritated for waiting so long. Another old lady cut in front of a ton of people and they didn't say anything to her. The amount of people paid to stand around and do nothing is beyond me. Especially with such long lines!!! They need to train more people to run registers and make better use of their time! Ditch this system of typing everything in and get barcodes like every other store in America!!!! read more

I absolutely LOVE everything this store has to offer. It's conveniently located in the Arrowhead area and has a huge selection of goodies. Unfortunately, I have to give three stars instead of five because of how rude their employees are. I've been in there on different times and days and it seems they are all bitter, miserable women who either hate their job or hate to be asked questions. I actually had to ask for a store manager on one occasion because of how unhelpful and rude the ladies were on that particular trip. Again, the store is fabulous and it has everything you could ever want... and seeing the other reviews, it seems other customers have also noticed how unfriendly the staff is. After seeing Heather W's review on Hobby Lobby, I had to run right over there and check it out. It was perfect timing as I am trying to spruce up the house. I was not disappointed. They had it all!... and some pretty good sales too. I had a coupon for 40% OFF but did not have to use it. Mostly everything is on sale and very reasonable. They were a little sparse in the pre-made potted plant section and the fabric section was much smaller than Joann, but all in all it is worth checking out. Aside from the usual arts & crafts, they had some pretty decent furniture there too: room dividing screens, accent tables, entry way tables and more... The store is pretty big. You can't miss it. They are on on the South side of Bell Rd @ 75th Ave. I will be going back. If you go too, be sure to sign up for email and get an instant coupon sent to your mailbox... just encase you see a non-sale item you like - pretty sweet! read more

I like Hobby Lobby...I mostly come for the home decor, esp when it's 50% off! (like every other week!) I haven't ever needed to use my 40% off coupon, since everything I need (or want) is already on sale. I wandered thru the craft dept and the shelves were empty. They were SOLD OUT of merchandise from their recent GRAND OPENING and employees were everywhere restocking. Hobby Lobby generally has an AWESOME selection of Rubber Stamps and Scrapbooking supplies (50% off almost every other week!)...much better than JoAnn's and Michael's combined. This location is very convenient too. The parking is more open and parking is more abundant (compared to the super busy parking lot over at JoAnn's a few streets over). The one thing that Hobby Lobby needs to do is OPEN MORE registers for check-out...there are ALWAYS lines or just 1 register open...and you usually end up behind someone with a cart-load of stuff buying up the WHOLE store. read more
