I love Hobby Lobby! I love decorating for any holiday and I can always find something here. The prices are super reasonable and the quality is fine for what you pay for. They regularly have coupons as well!! Every employee I have encountered is helpful and friendly. Checkout process is quick and efficient as well. I'll be back soon for more decor I probably don't need! lol read more

DO NOT WORK HERE!!! My roommate and I came to this store for an interview, and we were genuinely excited and happy for the opportunity to potentially work here. Unfortunately, the experience from the moment we walked in was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. When we arrived, we told the first available employee that we were there for an interview. Her attitude immediately came across as if she did not want to be there. I completely understand having a bad day, but when you work in customer service, the way you treat people matters. She contacted the manager, Kathy, and we were told to go to the back and complete a math test in the break room. We actually had to find someone ourselves to help us get the test and a pencil. Thankfully, the employee who helped us was the only person who was genuinely kind and helpful during our entire experience. While taking the test, everything was initially quiet because there was only one employee in the room. Then several employees came in on their break and started talking, laughing, and being extremely loud right next to us. I understand that it was their break room, but if applicants are expected to complete an interview test that requires concentration, why would you have them take it in a busy break room in the first place? This was not an easy little addition-and-subtraction test either. Some of the questions required us to actually sit down, think, and work through them. Trying to concentrate while people were laughing and talking inches away from us made it unnecessarily difficult. At one point, I quietly mentioned to my roommate that the employees were being so loud that I could barely think. We giggled about it between ourselves and continued working on our tests. We were not being disruptive, disrespectful, or causing a scene. A little while later, Kathy came into the break room and asked us to come outside. She then told us that we were "not taking this seriously" because we had been laughing and talking and apparently helping each other on the test. She also said that her employees had told her this. We were extremely confused because the very employees who were loudly talking and laughing next to us were apparently the ones judging us for doing the same thing quietly amongst ourselves. She then told us she had to cut our interviews short because she had other interviewers coming and said that we were "taking too long." The timing did not even make sense because my roommate's interview was scheduled for 1:30 PM, and it was barely going to be 1:30. At that point, we left feeling embarrassed, upset, and completely disrespected. We came in excited about the possibility of working here and left feeling like we had already been judged and accused of things we did not do. We did absolutely nothing to deserve the way we were treated. There is a huge difference between professionally addressing a concern with applicants and making them feel unwelcome, embarrassed, and accused before they have even had the opportunity to interview. If this is how potential employees are treated during the interview process, I can only imagine how employees are treated after they are hired. I sincerely hope management takes a serious look at how applicants are being treated, because no one should leave an interview feeling the way we did. For a store that presents itself as Christian-based, I expected much more kindness, professionalism, and basic respect. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and I would not recommend applying here based on how we were treated. 0 STARS FOR KATHY AND THOSE LADIES read more

if you think you want to work here, no you don't! upper management bring moral down and don't do anything but watch tik tok in the office. the two "upper managers" are practically "bff's" and play favorites with certain employees. the rest of the employees there including the two assistant managers are awesome. they bust their bottoms making sure everything is done. i remember upper managements slogan "fake it till you make it!" well they aren't faking it very well because they don't have their single ornament aisle done and it's like customers are shopping out of bins and boxes. i have seen this store go down hill pretty fast and it's very surprising because past years things were set . read more

i went shopping into hobby lobby today and I didn't have a good experience there. I felt discriminated and attacked today by three older ladys working there, one kept looking inside my cart as if we were stealing walked passed me twice and looked at me up and down. I asked the other lady for help and she ignored me and then told me where the item was at, she probably thought I was going to take the clearance things she was marking down but I didn't buy anything that was marked down. I was looking at something else where another worker was marking down I was being mindful and not touching anything because I know what it's like as a retail worker and she rudely told me "im not done marking this down" . I felt like it was very disrespectful on her end because I wasn't close enough for her to be talking to me like that. Yet she let another white lady look and touch what she was marking down and even showed her what marked down. I didn't feel respected in that store today and I felt like I was being watched by the workers and let me tell you why it felt like this. I felt like I was being watched because I am a LATINA of color and "don't belong" in a "white" store like that. The worst customer service and the worst older ladies working there. Teach them Some manners. read more

A super store but checking out during or specifically after Christmas was a real headache. Waited in line 30+ minutes to check out. I didn't realize they don't have a scanning system, everything is hand keyed, so do I have to say anymore? I will never shop after Christmas again.... read more

We waited in line for 50 minutes to checkout day after Christmas. Lines were crazy. But amazing sale and staff were friendly.

Another great find today for me at Hobby Lobby. Came in looking for spring decor and found so many great things. Loved all the big mirrors as well. Service is always great at this location and it's well organized and clean. Parking lot can get full really quick with all the nearby shops, but never an issue finding a spot. read more

Today I had the worst experience at this hobby lobby! I went in looking for a heavy glass tabletop. I went to ask a nice employee that I needed some help, which she called but no one came, I waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come help and no one showed up. I had to pick it up myself and put it into my cart, there was enough employees around to at least come and help! read more

Tons of home decor. Especially items to hang on the walls. So many different decorating aesthetics are represented here. There is something for every room in a home; at any age. Store is primarily home decorating. The back third of the store was craft supplies. Not as many craft supplies as one finds at a Michael's (this Hobby Lobby looks like a Michael's inside,) but still enough to get one's craft on. Many promotions were happening during my visit. Two of the big ones were a % off Spring items, and % off tabletop decor. There weren't really lines at checkout. Items I was purchasing for someone else were missing price tags. (They were the last ones.) Someone from that department came up quickly, and was able to tell the cashier a price. Prices on everything else I looked at were clearly marked. read more

Everything from home decor to crafting goodies! A really cool place for seasonal items as well. They offer many isles of holoday items when they come around offering a large selection. I like to browse through here every once in a while to see what speaks to me. Check out is always speedy with plenty of lines open and I have found employeesbto be helpful and friendly. read more

I always like Hobby Lobby. As much as I may travel, I actually like to stay home and when I have extended time at home, I like to come to a Hobby Lobby store to look for ideas for something to make. This particular store was well organized and clean. It was a busy weekend with some sales going. They had plenty of staff at cashiers and when they got busier, management quickly acted and added a couple of more cashiers to assist customers. I bought stuff that was not on sale and the staff wanted to make sure I was aware of that at the check out. read more

This place has the worse management. They are super rude and have no customer service. This is the only one that treats customers so poorly. Kathryn hides in the back--Katelin and Christina are horrible. They try to rip people off. Go to Mayo or Goodyear. Brain and Amy go out of their way to help. I worked in retail customers are not suppose to have manager speak to them rudely or roll their eyes. Terrible read more

Don't trust the prices! Identical items are marked different prices, sometimes a 50% difference! If you don't know to look, you're getting scammed if you take a higher priced item. Shame on this! I've also frequently experienced employees who are LESS than friendly. And this is supposed to be a Christian based store. read more

Hobby Lobby has been my go-to store since I began creating as a child and even up unto now. My last project was shadow boxing a special gift given to me which was a wooden plaque and I wanted to hang it without drilling a hole which would crack the wood. The shadow box was originally $30 but I got it rung up for $15. Whereas right before my visit to Hobby Lobby I had gone to a framing store to get a shadowbox and the same size cost $112. Hobby Lobby is good about sales, it's usually 50% off of everything all the time. I've purchased countless frames, prints, canvases, mirrors, candle making material, art supplies, and even sculptures from here. If you need expertise on a hobby or project, come here and just ask the appropriate staff, they'll be in their respected areas. I think I always spend an hour or more here each visit and it's mostly because I get distracted at their unique items. If you go behind the seasonal section, you'll find gold. This is the discount sections where items are so unique the prices have been slashed countless times. The last time I was here, I found a Red British Phonebooth, a Star Wars Millennium Falcon Blueprint, and a lit up LED theater sign. I love this place. read more

I did not know the power or a good hobby until my wife showed me. She has made me a fan, a believer and hobby lobby enthusiast. Sometimes I act like I go there because she need to get something, but really I just like looking around. It's clean, it smells nice, there are tons of things to look at... they have a whole side of the store dedicated to flower and the other side dedicated to fabric... mind blown. Went here to get some metal letter for my wife's class and didn't have to break the bank to do it see picture below for final products. Five stars for being a guilty pleasure of mine read more

Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite stores. They are always clean, well stocked, and organized! However, this most recent trip was very upsetting. I bought about $120 worth of cake decorating supplies. Upon opening up everything today to use, the most expensive item (a cake decorating box set) is missing half of what the box is supposed to include. The 2 star is strictly for the inconvenience of missing items in a SEALED package. read more

Love that place . Great prices !!! Great product !!! Very well stocked !! Service is great as well . Thank you hobby lobby !!!

Although I really do like Hobby Lobby and their prices, I wasn't happy with store hours. The hours on their door indicate closing at 8 PM. I went to the store and found out different.. The guy was kind of rude to us telling us that they're closing at 7pm. Wouldn't have been better to put a sign in the window or the door it said closing at 7 PM? read more

Worst customer service ever! The employees look bitter that they work here and are not helpful at all. We asked an employee if they had table chargers and she said no. We then are checking out and see a whole area full of table chargers. Also the prices are double the prices of Target. Not coming back. read more

I am so sick of the lines at this store, or any hobby lobby. You get one store employee who does not care about checking people out in a timely manner and your are screwed! This whole "multiple lines" thing is the most unfair system ever. Get with it and do one single line!! I have been waiting for 15 minutes in my line while other just fly through. These cashiers do not care. And when you have "two" open forming in from one line, goes way faster. Ridiculous set up. read more

I have to share my experience, because It made all the world of a difference for me. I went to Hobby Lobby to purchase a specific mirror I had wanted and it was in stock (Now, keep in mind the store was VERY busy, so I wasn't expecting anyone to be available to help me, or if I did see an employee I was expecting them to not be kind because of how chaotic this time of year is). I was about to take it up front when I was then told by a woman (I didn't get her name, or I would have loved to include her in this review) that she would take the large mirror up to the front for me. I told her I would help her because it was an extra large 4ft mirror and she ended up putting it at the front for me to check out. The lines were long, yes. But that is to be expected this time of year. I was just grateful someone helped me take it to the front, because I was expecting to have to lug the mirror through the long line on my own. Once it came to paying, I was then rung up from the kind young cashier who noticed how large the item was and asked if she could get someone to help me get it to my car. I was so happy! I don't normally purchase large items without my husband with me so this entire experience was a little terrifying and uncertain for me to begin with. That's when Carlos arrived and rolled it out to my car with me and his assistance was incredible. I want to thank the entire staff who helped me yesterday and made my shopping trip seamless and now I have my new mirror and it looks perfect in my home. 10/10 would recommend this location. They are so kind and helpful. I was so pleased with the service I've already boasted about it to 5 of my friends, that's great service! read more

I absolutely love the store, it is my absolute favorite store and I shop their faithfully, but the customer service is just so beyond ridiculous, I don't even know where to start. Everything is up high in this store, all the good fun non scratched stuff, and nobody ever wants to help, and when you ask for help, it's a problem and they look miserable. One lady gave her coworker a dirty look and was yelling at another coworker because he was getting a ladder for us. He wasn't as fast as she wanted him to be but you can only move so fast with the ladder in a ton of people around. They were freaking out because they didn't have stuff stocked at the bottom that wasn't scratched up or damaged, so my husband went and got it himself from the middle part. They were huffing and puffing, making smart remarks under their breath, all because I asked my husband to get one that wasn't messed up. Because we all know if we plan now a scratch or chip or a dent. It's a huge problem for a discount on their end, and I will pay for what I want. Completely unprofessional.. but I kept shopping, got to the other side of the store.. I have a newborn in the cart and my toddler with me as well, and I turned the corner, and a worker just cut me off and ran into my cart. It wasn't a terrible run to the cart, but it was the purpose of it. Didn't even apologize and kept it moving, I said out loud that I'm sorry, and she didn't even acknowledge it just thought it was rude and unprofessional in a workplace.. if you don't like a store that people like to shop for their house and stuff like that then maybe find another job. Otherwise you should practice your customer service skills. Regardless though, five stars because this is my favorite store, but if I could give no stars for the customer service, I would. read more

I love Hobby Lobby, especially this new location, which opened a couple of weeks ago. As somebody who used to work at Jo-Ann's and know about arts and crafts, I am a major fan of this Hobby Lobby. They have almost every single thing imaginable for arts and crafts, as well as, home decor items, different models (i.e. cars, planes, and trains). The only reason I am giving this four out of five stars is because the staff isn't super friendly. They definitely don't go out of their way to help you. Also, because the fabric selection isn't nearly as big as Jo-Ann's. Other than that, they have so many unique and random products and it's really amazing! I could spend hours and hours looking through everything they have. read more

This place is incredible. No matter what your hobby, they have it. If you can't find it, the staff will drop what they are doing to help you out. I met the owners once, super nice couple. Rude! No customer service training I guess!? I called to see if they had the touchless pay option from Apple phones and as I'm asking my question, Jenna who answered quickly talks over me and blurts, "No, no we don't." It was my first time going hobby lobby and I was trying buy paint. When I got up to the cashier I was trying to use a coupon. She told me that I could only use it on 2 bottles which was fine. I was going to call my mom to make sure it was okay. She got all rude and started talk bad about her co-workers in front of customers which is unprofessional. I decided to not purchase anything and walk out because I am not okay with people that talk bad about people behind their back and are rude to customers. There was nobody behind me in line and when we apologized for taking so long she look at us and looked away which I though was very rude. read more

My favorite store for home decor; great selection and watch the sales for the best prices!

Daniel was awesome in the framing department! I recently lost my father and my mother and I needed to get a portrait framed for his memorial. We realized it would take at least 10-14 days to complete a custom frame but we needed it sooner. He worked with my mother and was very patient to help us create something with frames they already carried and it came out perfect. My mother loves it. He helped ease the stress of our situation and seeing the smile on my mothers face after everything we have been going through, I can't thank him enough! read more

Fantastic customer service. They are beyond welcoming and kind. When I have a question they answer it efficiently with such mannered behavior and when checking out, they are so humble and kind. Hobby Lobby - Someone ("cough!") Buy this sparkly tree for me pleeeeease! - Fabric Stores Near Me - Peoria, Arizona

I absolutely LOVE everything this store has to offer. It's conveniently located in the Arrowhead area and has a huge selection of goodies. Unfortunately, I have to give three stars instead of five because of how rude their employees are. I've been in there on different times and days and it seems they are all bitter, miserable women who either hate their job or hate to be asked questions. I actually had to ask for a store manager on one occasion because of how unhelpful and rude the ladies were on that particular trip. Again, the store is fabulous and it has everything you could ever want... and seeing the other reviews, it seems other customers have also noticed how unfriendly the staff is. Hopefully a manager will start reading these reviews and retrain the employees on customer service. read more

After seeing Heather W's review on Hobby Lobby, I had to run right over there and check it out. It was perfect timing as I am trying to spruce up the house. I was not disappointed. They had it all!... and some pretty good sales too. I had a coupon for 40% OFF but did not have to use it. Mostly everything is on sale and very reasonable. They were a little sparse in the pre-made potted plant section and the fabric section was much smaller than Joann, but all in all it is worth checking out. Aside from the usual arts & crafts, they had some pretty decent furniture there too: room dividing screens, accent tables, entry way tables and more... The store is pretty big. You can't miss it. They are on on the South side of Bell Rd @ 75th Ave. I will be going back. If you go too, be sure to sign up for email and get an instant coupon sent to your mailbox... just encase you see a non-sale item you like - pretty sweet! read more
