Craft paper, stamps, sewing material, sewing supplies, silk flowers, wedding stuff, puzzles, craft kits, paint supplies, furniture house decor, picture frames, holiday stuff and on and on. I know I am probably forgetting 1/2 the store. They are doing away with their weekly 40% coupon(). Maybe if enough customers complain about it they will bring it back. Arrived at closing time. I called ahead of time, due to me searching for Chef hats, for Bazille upcoming event. Surprisingly, this location on FM529, had both in Stock for a very great price. Adult chef hat- $4.99 Child size. -$3.99 Both hats have adjustable velcro split, on back of hat's, for you to get the prefect size. Upon entering, guy told me their close, even with shoppers inside, doors still open. I inform him I call, and only here to collect hats. He then told me, that the hats are waiting on good for me on the counter. He'sthe one I spike with on the phone. The manger "Joe" is very rude!! I had to look at all the prices on items as some Exact same items were priced differently $2 to $3 dollar difference, only to ask the manager Joe why that is and his reply is they do price increases and if I don't like it I can "shop elsewhere", yes! Very rude so I did just that I went to Michael's and spent half of what I was going to spend at Hobby lobby. Hobby Lobby has always been my one stop shop for all my crafting needs but after my last experience I will not be supporting this business anymore. The store manager DENNIS was very unkind and rude after I asked for a discount on an open package product. I did not have a problem with the price as I was using a coupon anyway the problem was the customer service I received from the supposed leader of the store. DENNIS, not only refused to discount the open product "you are just going to throw the plastic away anyway", but also completely ripped open the package, touched the delicate brush bristles, and turns his back to me after I said I was planning on gifting it. Not to mention being rushed out of the store because it was closing soon, also the reason I didn't go back and switch the product out. VERY DISAPPOINTED! read more

I have gone to this location for so many years. I have always enjoyed myself and it was so convenient. NOW, I can't make myself go back there. JOE the manager is unnecessarily and ridiculously rude. There was a difference in pricing for some furniture and he was just so awful. . I bought the furniture anyway, wobbly legs and all...and all was ok. Until...I went back to buy some mirrors the next day. Like a creepy clown, he exchanged looks with the other manager and grinned while taking a deep breath. Like a high school boy, not a boss. Hobby Lobby is awesome on so many levels but my last visit wasn't so great. I purchased quite a bit of Christmas decor for a party. They didn't have enough of the vases I needed. A manager offered to place order for me. Assured me they would arrive on time. I called on the day they were to arrive only to find that no order had been placed. The staff started playing the blame game which only made the situation worse. The manager that offered to place the order was unavailable. When I got to the store to speak with him he had left for the day. So disappointing. Upon ordering I made it very clear that I needed the items by Thursday and he assured me that they would be there. I thought it was a bit cowardice for him to leave when he knew I was on my way. It could possibly be that he had somewhere else to be but not even a phone call to explain what happened was shady to say the least. The on-duty manager offered to call other stores. I declined the offer. Screw me once shame on you. Screw me twice.... However he did offer me the few vases he had in stock and gave me one free. That was nice. read more

Today my friend and I who make jewelry together went to hobby lobby for some beads we needed during their half off sale to finish up some projects. We took both our sons as we are stay at home mothers and fire wives and usually have our sons with us at all times. Mine is 4, hers is 2. Boys will be boys. They get excited, they like to look at beads and they are loud. Neither one of them broke anything, dropped anything, or destroyed anything. This is the second time my friend and I have gone to this hobby lobby within a week with our sons. The first time we went, the store manager walked by the bead aisles we were in about 7 times. Looking at us. I know this look, we have all seen it before, they thought we were either breaking things or stealing things. I've seen teenagers get this look when I worked retail so I know the look. We continued on to the sewing aisle to look at lighted lamps, and there was the manager again. just calmly walking by 3 times. We left the store after buying our merchandise, (which the manager some how ended up "working" on something near the front just as we neared the front of the store) and we left. Leaving it up to the fact that it was probably because our boys were loud. Well behaved, but loud. We went back today. The same thing happened. The store manager walked past us several times, eyeing us several times. This time, the lady who was working the bead dept did the same thing. Causally walking by 4 or more times. There was also an associate who "was putting things up" in the aisles we were in 3 times while we were there. We were only there for 15 min this time. Upon check out, I spoke with the customer service manager of the store. At first, she seemed concerned. Apologized. But as I asked for the names of the employees to report to corporate office, she suddenly had to go help someone with a return (in mid conversation with her) and she had her back to us for about 10 min before I just kindly thanked her for her help and left. I am beyond mad and will never go back to this hobby lobby again. read more

Hobby lobby is a go-to store and always has what your looking for but I visited this location today and was really disappointed in the customer service. I'm hoping that the tension in there was due to the fact that holiday season is upon us but it's incredibly apparent when people don't make eye contact with you and that they pretty much seemed frustrated. I absolutely love this location! It is my go to place for literally everything for the home. I can get furniture at a discount always, I have gotten adorable centerpieces and decorations for less than a dollar. I come in with a different project every time I go in and the more than helpful manager will always point me in the right direction from the claymation I was working on to the copic markers! This location is near my house and I frequent this place a lot, but sometimes I prefer going to other locations because the cashiers here are not so friendly and some are even rude! They don't acknowledge you and seem so bored. Other than that, I think they have a nice variety of crafting supplies. I come here for scrapbook materials and embellishments and they always have a nice selection. Some of their aisles are disheveled and dirty and need to be dusted. The actual store is pretty okay; this review is for the framing department. So, I brought in a huge cross stitch piece that I had spent over 2 years working on to get framed. The staff was initially very nice and patient when showing me all the frame and mat options for my work. Two weeks later, I went to pick it up, and they'd done an absolutely terrible job. The piece was not straight, and they hadn't cut the mats correctly. Instead of reordering the mats when it was CLEAR that it had been done wrong, they went ahead with the framing, and tried to get me to accept a framing job that cut off my work an inch from the bottom and an inch in from the right hand side. I told them it was unacceptable, and asked them to re do it. They had it for another two and a half weeks, and when I hadn't heard from anyone I went in to the store to check on it. By that point, they'd had it for a little over a month, and it wasn't even in a frame, much less framed properly. When confronted, one of the framers was exceedingly rude and flippant about the whole situation. I'm normally not the type to make this big of a deal about something like this, but I was not about to pay for service like what I received. I insisted on my money and my embroidery back, and I'll be going elsewhere for this and all other future framing jobs. Never again with Hobby Lobby. Don't waste your time or money. read more

I use to work there and it is NOT a Christian establishment. The manager told us, the cashiers, not to ring up everybody for all the daily deals. That people wouldn't notice if rung them up for the original price. They are always trying to save money and screw the customers over! Even when it's 60% to 70% off it really wasn't what it said it was.... sometimes I would have customers come up to me saying if its 70% off why is it still marked off as 40%? It's not like I could tell them that my boss was purposely trying to screw them over. It makes me sick to think that I actually spent my money there and worked at a place like that. read more
