That peek turned into a full hour of discovery. Why didn't anyone tell me that Hobby Lobby carries a little bit of everything. Seriously. Full length mirrors, they've got it. Aerobic stepper and dumbbells, they've got it. Teacher materials, southern coded firearm merch, dog toys, Christian merch, and velvet hangers, they've got it. However, the one thing they did not "got" was the thing I came in for- giant friendship bracelet charms. Although the trip was not what I expected, team members were ample, and I developed a new desire to add wood burning to my list of skills because yes, you apparently can in fact buy a creative wood burner tool for 64.99. Anyways, if it's been awhile, give yourself time to visit, explore, and enjoy. You'll need it!

They ring everything up, then discount a percentage off each item, kind of like creative financing in the 80's. They do it this way because each item has to get taxed. If they did it the other way there wouldn't be taxes. So you are still responsible for paying tax on each item, no free bath wash. Even when I've received coupons and used them, I've still ended up leaving there with a huge chunk of change out of my wallet, wondering "how" I received a "discount". It would be well worth it if they carried my favorites continuously, but no. Whenever my previous purchase runs out and I have to go buy a new set of body wash, lotion and spritz, they have totally changed the label or do not carry it in that formula any longer. So I end up wandering the store dodging the high pressure sales ladies on the floor, looking for something previously comparable. Ugh! Very frustrating. They do have a whole new expanded store, but if I end up staying there too long, the combined smells nauseate me. I will try going back in at a later time when the sting has worn off my wallet. I was pleased to see that the ladies in here, although different salespeople from years ago, were still friendly and not snobby at all. I walked in quite late one evening (after 8pm) and was greeted and helped to look at several different purses. The salesperson listened to what my needs were and showed we several purses in the realm of what I was looking for. She didn't go for the most expensive or stuff that I obviously wouldn't use, she actually listened... it was a good shopping experience, which is rare for me! I didn't end up purchasing here, but I was impressed with their attitude. The salesperson said that I shouldn't settle which is true. So, I kept on looking. I appreciated her candor and will always make Kate Spade a part of my shopping for purses, wallets, and other lovely accessories in the future.

On my last trip to the store, I was looking for a dress to wear for a particular occasion, they REALLY pushed me to buy the most expensive dress in the line, which wouldn't have been a problem, if only it had been flattering on me. They kept telling me how great it was, and it's hard to not believe it when you are the only customer in the store and all three ladies are telling you it's flattering. When I got home and tried it on my own, I realized it made me look like a sausage. Why couldn't they just be honest? So what if I didn't buy that particular dress and bought the more flattering, cheaper one? I would have trusted them much more. Needless to say, I returned it. 2. I have found that the prices at the KS store are higher than at Neiman's and sometimes Saks. It isn't that the prices are generally different, but the styles go on sale up to 2 months before at the large department stores. So if you buy shoes/a dress/accessories midway through the season (not at the end), you may get up to 40% off by just buying it from Neiman's. Like I said, this store is adorable, and most other times everyone has been incredibly helpful, but I'm not sure this is going to be my first stop for Kate Spade anymore.

That's not a problem I understand it, I wasn't exactly aware of their policies. My problem was with how I was treated. They made me feel like I was a criminal for trying to exchange a belt for a different size. The guy I had first dealt originally with came up to the counter, addressed the other guy to tell him it wasn't possible, so that he could go and then tell me, while I was standing right in front of him, as if he was scared to even tell me or just simply was too up his own ass to deal with such a customer. Then when I was being helped out, the manager walked over, grabbed the guy and said go help this lady over here, leaving us standing their like idiots waiting for no reason, as he had taken our receipt. Overall I felt like I was a peasant on the workers shoes. You work at Louis Vuitton, you don't own it, get off your high horse. If my employees treated anyone like that I would be kicking them out of my company without a second look. Lastly, you should watch who you treat badly, just because I walked in their in gym clothes doesn't mean I didn't or don't have money to spend, I could buy out every persons net worth out in that store yesterday combined, with just the watch on my wrist. It might be because my mom and I walked in 3 times just contemplating getting a bag and not really looking around but just stood there thinking. I was so excited to find that the Houston Premium Outlets had just opened the high-end line of the…read moreluxury name, Armani. Unfortunately, the customer service at this store is nowhere in line with the service you would receive at a non-outlet Armani boutique. I purchased a weekender bag from this store last week, I was told the bag was 50% off so I went ahead and purchased it. I had not bothered to unwrap the bag until a few days later. When I opened it, I found my receipt and noticed that I was not given the 50% discount but instead something much lower. I called the store and spoke to an associate, I explained to them what had happened and they told me to come back into the store and the issue would be fixed. I went in later that night and I saw the sales associate that had sold me the bag, he immediately recognized me and asked me what was wrong. I told him he rang me up for the incorrect discount and it sounded like he was aware of that but didn't bother to tell me at the time. The so-called 'Supervisor' was there next to him and basically asked me what I wanted to do. I told him I would like to either have the difference returned to my credit card or just return the entire purchase. The so-called 'Supervisor', I wish I could remember his name, basically told me he could do neither because only the General Manager can process returns and or price adjustments. I thought that was the stupidest thing I had ever heard.. EVER. How the hell can only the GM process returns? So why the heck does this guy have the title of 'Supervisor' if he can't help his customers. I am seriously ticked off at this store. I drove all the way from Midtown Houston to Boonies Cypress, TX. They did absolutely nothing to try and help me. Not only will I not be returning to this store, I have written a formal complaint to customer relations.
