This whole area is under construction due to the expansion of FM 1960. Be aware, as part of the parking lot is blocked off for the construction crew and traffic/access can be a real juggle. Selection of dog beds was indeed great, but there were twice as many cat beds. If you're a cat person, this is the place for you, obviously! Picked out a decent bed and headed to the check out. And the wait begins. And drags on and on. I was in line for an excess of 25 minutes, and I was about fifth in line. Right before I was "summoned" to check out, I turned around and counted: there were 20 people in line. Unbelievable, and absolutely no additional cashiers were called. While I like the selection of items at HomeGoods, the wait to check out is excessive. I'm amazed that after multiple years this store still suffers from the same lack of customer service at the check out.

My daughter met me here and she found a few she really liked. She ended up with a great a 5x7 rug for $69! She also got a few baskets for the baby stuff. They had a great selection of baskets too. I bought the cutest marble lazy Susan for my kitchen soap to sit on for only $12.99!!! The staff were helpful and pleasant. This is one of my new favorite stores! FYI- they do not sell pet stuff or baby stuff. But that's ok, they have tons of other great stuff.

On a mission for some faux flowers, I put on my big girl pants, and braved the angsty uncaffinated crowd with the greater mission of finishing my work craft. While Michael's florals are pricey, it's always a treat to find the occasional 99 cent bundle, or seasonal 50% off sale. That being said, there are always items on clearance and always coupons, deals, and sales. Although a bit lacking in their traditional florals department (well, in terms of the selection of reds), this location is calm, organized, and everyone I've encountered has been helpful and friendly. They said there might be a defect with whoever made it and so be it but we asked for a refund because we had bought a replacement balloon there and we had to spend an extra $10 on another number balloon and more helium. And then on top of now spending twenty dollars for two balloons, one of which didn't even float, every latex ballon is $2. They never refunded our balloon that didn't float and said next time to buy a balloon directly from them.

I like that they have seasonal decor at the front, you can get some good deals on cute items that are similar or even identical to those at more expensive big box stores. No one asks if you need help when looking around. And, today, June 1st we were looking at pet toys. There was a nice deal for buy 1 get 1 half off, and we were definitely excited to see this as prices have risen dramatically the last few years. (Picture is attached) We were denied this by a woman at the register, and she even asked another employee who was socializing nearby who gave affirmation. I quote, "Oh yeah, that promotion was only over the weekend, sorry." My wife and i looked clearly skeptical, but we chose to be polite. We put the items back ourselves. (they did not offer to do so for the Inconvenience) After leaving i looked at the photo I took of the sign, and it said it was valid through May 26th through June 7th. I came back inside, and showed the photo to the register employee. Hopefully, this won't happen to the next customer. But, due to this we do not plan on shopping here any longer. In the economic climate, taking care of customers is Paramount as we are all taking our money where accommodating service is the most important thing to retain repeat business. Good Luck in the future. Also, we noticed that organizationally this place does a bad job putting up signs with prices for many items. I would suggest a General Manager or above should inspect this place better.
