They did not participate in the yearly Ross markdown of items in store. Of course they have small sections of mark downs but when asked about it; they said it passed already when I indeed went everyday to try to find good sales. Their prices have gone up since the change over a matter of weeks and be careful when buying "clearance" items. They are marking items as clearance and charging same price as original tags. Might as well go Nextdoor to TJ MAX for better quality items and prices that match. This ROSS location is just up charging for the same damaged low quality items.

The worker lady (tan, anywhere from a horrible looking 30 yr old to a decent looking 50 year old, dark hair, was working on Sunday Feb 1 at around 8:45pm) filled up her bag and just put it on the disabled woman's lap. She asked the worker if she could adjust where she put the bags so she could see her way to her vehicle. The worker lady proceeds to say "Girl what". R u kidding me? What happened to southern hospitality? Thankfully, my brother helped the poor woman on his own. Is that not a part of their job? I guess not??? This place is not disabled ppl safe. And by that I mean the store is overcrowded, messy and with lines out the door! You would think it's Christmas all year long because the lines are always to the back of the store! What do I buy here? I usually have a purpose. If I'm looking for storage solutions, they have a great selection of wicker baskets & fabric boxes which is great, since I'm trying to stay away from plastic. Occasionally, I buy bathroom accessories like rugs, or maybe I look for some furniture pieces, and home decor items (but just watch for items that have the Prop 65 warning label), pet toys, artwork, seasonal items, lamps, giant rugs, and yummy snacks. This store is newerish, lots of parking, clean and organized. But I wish the store was bigger because the furniture section is a bit too cramped. Some of the home decor aisles are a bit overly crowded but I do see plenty of employees working to get it neatly displayed. I never see tons of items on the floor or a big mess or a line that you have to wait in for 20 minutes. Yes, they do have lines here but they go fast-at least when I've been here. And of course, I always find something here!

A Hotpoint 15.5 Cubic Foot Refrigerator displayed in the showroom area of the Appliance Outlet Store located at 32211 FM 2978 in Magnolia, TX 77354 was purchased on August 29, 2023. The unit we viewed was in pristine condition. The transaction was completed by Mike in the sales department. The unit was delivered the following week by a third-party delivery service contracted by Appliance Outlet. It was shrink wrapped upon arrival and was installed by the delivery personnel in a designated area of our garage between a wall and a shelving unit. Paperwork was signed and the delivery service departed. The front of the refrigerator was flawless, however, closer inspection revealed that there was severe damage to the upper, right-side corner and the upper right side of the freezer door and the lower right side front surface where the refrigerator door seals to the frame. The unit runs more than it should and consumes a lot of energy. Condensation forms inside the refrigerator section because the door will not seal properly. Mike, the salesperson, was contacted immediately. During our conversation, Mike mentioned that he did not recall any damage to the unit we were shown. Mike requested that we text pictures of the damaged areas for evaluation. Several days passed before a response was received by Mike, only to tell us that we needed to contact the customer service department because he was in sales and did not handle customer service or warranty issues. Four calls were placed with the customer service department before a response was finally received. Our request for a replacement unit or a refund was denied, and we have since been ghosted by Appliance Outlet. Two causes for the damage are possible: The first being we were shown the pristine refrigerator in the showroom and a damaged unit from the store warehouse was delivered instead (AKA bait and switch). Or the delivery service did not properly secure the refrigerator in the truck, and it fell over inside the truck while enroute causing severe damage. Neither the Appliance Outlet nor the delivery service will take responsibility or be accountable for the damaged unit.
