They have a large stock and a lot of stuff, and even though wait times can sometimes be long, with the good old single cashier problem going on, it's a great little cheap outlet in The Woodlands, which has a very pretentious town name by the way, and is very pretentious, let's be honest. So DT is Barbi's fave chain for cheap stuff, maybe alongside 99C Only and Daiso, and it shows, especially at locations like this one. If it handed out organs to dying people, it'd be Donor Tree. Unfortunately it doesn't. And with all the money it generates, it totally could. Or at least pay your employees better so they're not so annoyed all the time.

All items are now $1.25, but I still consider that a bargain. You can find so many things here that are way more expensive in other establishments: -Wrapping paper, gift bags and tissue paper -Greeting cards! -Party supplies: mylar balloons, napkins, paper table cloths -Kitchen items like measuring cups and spoons, cooking utensils -Hair accessories like elastic bands, headbands, hair clips, combs -Storage totes and trays -Stationery: paper, pens, pencils, crayons, markers, erasers, folders -Puzzles and coloring books Oh, there's so much more here. I've only listed some of the things that I regularly purchase here, but they've also got cleaning supplies, food (which I've never bought), seasonal decorations and craft items plus aisles of mugs, cups, plates, food storage containers, soap, shampoo, and toothpaste. Be ready to wait in the check-out line, though. Sometimes you'll hit them up when hardly anyone else is shopping and you're out in a flash. Other times you get behind a customer that has a shopping cart filled with about 100 items (which takes them, it seems, forever to scan). Usually only one check-out lane is open, even during very busy times. This is a clean store with lots of parking (it's in the old Randall's shopping center, so you know the parking lot is huge). The store is very poorly stocked, disheveled, dusty, unorganized. It gives me anxiety to go in there and I am not an anxious person. Stopped by today just to browse. The store was pretty crowded for a weekday and a lot of the…read moreshelves were empty. All of the self checkout registers were closed but an employee walked up and unlocked one as we walked up. She took our merchandise from us and rang it up at the self service registers, not the one at the front set up like a standard register at a store and then asked me the method of payment. I told her I would press the button and use my selected form of payment. She insisted that she press the button and handle my method of payment, to which I told her no - there was no reason at all for her to handle my card. The company needs to either have staff handle the transactions at the regular register or have the customer handle everything themselves at the self service checkouts. On top of that, didn't even put our items in a bag, just handed them to us. I will not be back to this location.
