Liz the manager or supervisor on duty at the registers was very rude. There was a Pendleton blanket for $19.99 and we found it to be at a great price. The register person said to show her the price via picture, mind you I had to walk across the store to take the picture for proof. Once shown, the register person asked me to wait for the supervisor, which I patiently did. Without hesitation Liz told me the price is incorrect and cannot honor the price, when I asked why she said because there is no label with the price on it. Executive Club Member, shop for my business once a week, spend over $65K annually. The only reason I go to Costco is because of the rebate from my Visa card. The only reason I go to this location is the staff, certainly not Senior Management. Used to have a great relationship with all prior Senior Managers, they all moved. The current Store Director and recently added Asst. Store Director act like customers are an inconvenience. They are rude and just don't care. If it wasn't for the line employees, I'd go elsewhere. While there is a wide selection of food, I found that some of the Asian selection is lacking (there's no Bachan's original barbecue sauce!). Otherwise, there's all the standard bulk products you can expect to find at Costco as well as gas and automobile services. I love coming to costco, seeing all of the seasonal foods and usually feeling very welcome in the environment! I also am not a regular person who leaves a review after every experience, this is my first time writing a one star review but it was necessary. Our experience today was incredibly disappointing due to one employee in particular. A woman named Lisa was extremely rude and unhelpful, when asking for assistance we were met with dismissive and rude replies. Costco is simply a good place to shop. I've noticed that the location of some of the merchandise is rotated to different areas. Perhaps merchandising ? Anyway, I go here for tires whenever I need tires. Their mounting deal includes road hazard, which I have used one time before with no difficulty whatsoever. I have noticed that much of their fish is "wild caught", which is very good. Costco's competitor has much of their fish from the Far East and it is farm raised. I have traveled to those countries and they won't even eat farm raised fish due to waste that they feed the fish. Costco has extremely good customer service as well. Everyone is so nice at this location until they make a mistake and assume you're a suspect. I bought five- 27gallon storage bins, some produce and other items. Everything is great until I get to my vehicle and separate the cold items etc and use the storage bins to do so. I noticed one of the bins had something in it, the bottom was caked on coated and dry and a stream down the inside wall. It was the only bin with the mystery substance that looked like dry vomit. I packed my vehicle and proceeded back to the store with the filthy bin and receipt in hand. Mind you this is within 4 minutes of me leaving the store I'm returning. The store is looks fully staffed except of course at the "customer service" area. To expedite things I leave the dirty bin there (cause the line isn't moving) and go get a clean bin cause I don't want to take home the one with suspected throw up. I'd already shown all three people at the door the problem but nobody wanted to help until I had enough of the waiting (same person had the "customer service" rep tied up the whole time. Literally since I left the store, came back, got the new bin, had the supervisor called over; nobody went and help clear the line that was now snaked out of the door. I told them I just want to swap my filthy product they sold me and not be held hostage in the line cause I came to make a purchase not a return. The supervisor says "That's not how it works." I told her to provide me with the level of customer service I'd expect from Costco. How it works is I come in and buy brand new clean products and then stand in line if I don't want/like them. At first it seemed crazy to spend a bunch of money on bulk items however, when you do the math it comes out much cheaper to buy in bulk. I love that they are relaxing the mask requirement. It shows that they understand the behavior of viruses and the complications mask wearing can cause. Texas has joined 16 other states in lifting their mask mandate, and we are joining states like Florida to watch out contagion level plummet. As far as this location I've noticed that they aren't as stocked as well as other CostCo's around the country. This may be in part due to the shortages being seen throughout the US or the COVID related shortages due to a lack of workers. I bought a Tomlin Leather Power Reclining Loveseat sofa from this Costco location. The leather had scuff marks and some of the seam stitching was loose straight out of the box. I asked the management over the phone if I can have someone pick up the sofa due to the fact I drove over 60 miles to buy this furniture, plus I had to pay for U-Haul rental which cost me my other arm after I bought this "top grain leather" overpriced sofa.
