I came here looking for school clothes for my daughter and t-shirts for myself. I was able to get 10% off on the clothes. They also had a sale on shampoo and the sale was advertised as Redkin shampoo & conditioner 2 for $34 regular $50. They had the shampoo on the rack right in front of the register with a large sign in front of them, but the shampoo that by the sign was not the right size. The shampoo by the sign were the large bottles and were regularly $50/each. They had to page the manager over the salon to the front to find out what the sale was actually advertising. He said that the size of the bottles being advertised were in the back in the salon, but he did go and get them for me. I am not sure why they put that sign in front of the wrong sized bottles. I don't know if they were intentionally being deceptive or if it was an honest mistake. It was kind of annoying either way because it caused me to have to spend a long time in the checkout line, and there was alot of confusion. However I did find a good deal on 2 shirts for myself in the clearance section and my daughter found several shirts that she liked, and I did get the shampoo for a discounted price, so overall it was a good shopping trip, I just wish they had been a little more straightforward about what was actually being advertised with the shampoo/conditioner. read more

Gabby was my stylist at the salon and she fixed my hair beautifully. She was very friendly and helpful and professional during the whole experience. She made sure that I was comfortable and would tell me what she was going to do my hair step-by-step. I just wanted a simple cornrow hairstyle, nothing fancy. I like Penneys. This is a good one. I'm coming from the city so seeing this much parking and experiencing friendly employees is something I'm not used to these days. This store has both. The in-store Sephora and jewelry come in clutch for gifts. They are at the front of the store. Their home goods and household items sections are robust. Their prices are unbeatable. Customer service helpful. Line goes fast even during Black Friday sales. The location is convenient and if you can't find what you are looking for there are plenty of stores nearby, and restaurants if you get hungry. read more

What a difference a couple years can make!!! I am not easily impressed, particularly considering I don't generally like full retail shopping, but JCP has hit a home run!! I can't get over the transformation. The moment you walk inside you feel like it's an entirely different store. More refined, more highend, more spacious, yet one look at the prices and you will be relieved to know that you aren't sacrificing your entire bank account for one item. The addition of Sephora was an intelligent and strategic move several years ago, but initially it wasn't enough of a draw because the quality of the clothing and brands still left much to be desired. My recent excursion here proved to be delightfully surprising. Bisou Bisou, Nicole Miller, Mango GET Outta here JCP!!!! Did you fire your previous buyers and replace them with savvy new ones? Normally these designers are only in finer departments stores, but not anymore. It looks like the fashion industry led by Target is now mainstreaming their products. Smart move for larger brand access and recognition by the vast majority that can't afford $1000 T-shirts. ha! I am so glad JCP finally gets that it's not enough to have a pretty package. You also have to deliver the goods and deliver them you do!! I am even happier to report that I hit JCP during one of their storewide sales and walked out of there with some incredible deals and super cute stuff! Their prices are good, but they need to STOP pushing the darn CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT nonsense! Every time you check out: "oh, you can save 40% if you get our account" Every single time I go there. I said, "I guess you guys get a commission from this, huh?" I stupidly, after numerous times of saying NO, ended up getting a credit account to save 40% of a stupid $25 shirt. She would not take no for an answer - I should have just walked away. And, yes, my credit score was dinged because I did this. I should have just walked out. I am not going back to this or any of their stores, for this reason alone. It's the same with Macys, Nordstroms, Sears, all of retail stores. I am calling tomorrow and cancelling the account, just for the principal. The cashiers could care less if you save $. They make a commission from this, and meanwhile a line of people are building up behind the registers to pay for items. Their commission comes before getting the customers taken care of in a timely manner. Sad. read more

I usually like this store but today (June 1) I wanted to buy two shirts but there were 20 people in line! And 3 cashiers moving slowly. This review is for the Sephora store located inside this JCP. I was in a rush today, and needed to get in and get out with some makeup. The product I needed was conveniently located on an end cap, so I swooped in and grabbed my shade. The girls behind the register seemed more interested in their conversation than helping customers. (There were several in the store.) Nonetheless, they attended to me promptly, I was out quickly, and I even scored my Beauty Insider birthday gift. After the recent facelift I have been pleasantly surprised by JCPenny. I was able to get my partner a Swarovski Crystal necklace at a very good price. The staff member at the jewelry counter was pleasant and very helpful. I have also noticed that the store looks cleaner and the prices seem lower. Great job JCPenny! I will stop by again! read more

I went and had my hair done by ayesha! She is by far the best salon person I have been to in quite sometime! She listened to what i wanted and also put her insight. I was hesitant at first seeing as that my hair was damanged by the last stylist that i put my trust into. Ayesha was able to fix it as make it look so gorgeous im so glad i took her advice on the Color! Use her as your next stylist! If prices are an issue she works with you!!! You won't regret! I would give JCPENNEY.com a lower review if possible. I ordered the correct size and they ship whatever they want now I get to deal with fixing their mistake. This is why people don't shop there anymore. They say convenience shopping (I think not) and the customer service or should I say lack there of. I also don't see a return code on here if (we hire people who can't read or don't care so you get what you get) they need that one read more

This is a nice store. They are apparently in the midst of some renovation as there were parts of the store that were not stocked with anything but empty shelves. The pricing is reasonable, the store is clean and bright, and the staff knows where things are. read more
