I came here looking for school clothes for my daughter and t-shirts for myself. I was able to get…read more10% off on the clothes. They also had a sale on shampoo and the sale was advertised as Redkin shampoo & conditioner 2 for $34 regular $50. They had the shampoo on the rack right in front of the register with a large sign in front of them, but the shampoo that by the sign was not the right size. The shampoo by the sign were the large bottles and were regularly $50/each. They had to page the manager over the salon to the front to find out what the sale was actually advertising. He said that the size of the bottles being advertised were in the back in the salon, but he did go and get them for me. I am not sure why they put that sign in front of the wrong sized bottles. I don't know if they were intentionally being deceptive or if it was an honest mistake. It was kind of annoying either way because it caused me to have to spend a long time in the checkout line, and there was alot of confusion. However I did find a good deal on 2 shirts for myself in the clearance section and my daughter found several shirts that she liked, and I did get the shampoo for a discounted price, so overall it was a good shopping trip, I just wish they had been a little more straightforward about what was actually being advertised with the shampoo/conditioner.

I have shopped at Talbots for many many years, in different cities and states and have always be treated with great respect. The sales assistants are courteous and have gone out of their way to help me find the right item, nothing has ever been any problem. Many of my friends also shop in Talbots. I am sure online shopping will always be available, not everyone has a store close to their home. I have also used the on line shopping and again have received the same great service.

When I first though of Talbots I pictured bright, floral prints with paisley shirts for Spring, color block designs for Fall with A-frame/Rectangle silhouettes but there styles have evolved to incorporate eumelanin and pheomelanin skin tones and hourglass shapes. The current fall collection colors are mustard, plum, burnt orange and the classic blacks and navy blue. They are currently running a 30% sale on all items and classics never go out of style. The sales lady informed that some of their current items are limited because they do not know what they will be shipped at any given time! Psst, you can get that little black dress right now for under $121!

I have driven past this store for a few years now and I finally decided today was the day I would…read moreget out and explore it. Good- It reminds me of the boutiques you see while walking through the French Quarter in New Orleans. Very eclectic and uniquely artistic. They have bright neon colored decor and flamboyant 1/2 mannequins with full makeup on dripping in costume jewelry. I was mesmerized more by the way the store was presenting its wares, than the actual products themselves. I saw a couple of super cute, but expensive jackets, and a beautiful tie- dyed tube dress. They have Miss Me jeans, cute sun dresses, and lots of interesting items, that you are sure not to find everywhere. Bad- It looked kind of hit or miss with the offerings. I was in the store a good five minutes or so, before anyone even bothered to muster up a greeting, and it was half hearted at that. Almost as if, she could hardly be bothered. Hey, everyone has an off day, but if even you don't want to be in there, who will? Maybe they could use some fun music to liven the place up. Unfortunately, the entire experience was worthy of only 2.5 stars, but that's not an option. Ugly- Nothing bad to report although, I will say this store would fare much better in Austin. It is certainly not going to appeal to everyone, as it seems a bit outlandish with a few designers I have seen do well in Europe. The sheeple that like all things beige and typical of Woodland's mall attire, may struggle to find something that fits in with their crowd. Personally, I think it would be fun to dress up like some of the mannequins. I really liked their neon colored tutus. They were down right cute! This of course is coming from a die hard NOLA fan and people are just more funky and fun there.

I spotted two pairs of shoes, jeans, dresses, etc. I liked everything. Honestly, I didnt think Madewell was for me, and I thought they were pretty pricey. How wrong was I? Shame on me! That didnt have the shoes in my size, but that was alright. The sales clerk was so nice to order one pair online for me. The second pair was sold out. I started adding more things to purchase because the clothing at Madewell is not that pricey at all. Also, they had a great sale today, and if you give them your email, that was an additional 25% off.

Disappointing move - preferred the original outdoor layout I…read moream really disappointed with Urban Outfitters' relocation inside the mall. The previous outdoor, open-concept location was incredibly aesthetic, inviting, and felt accessible to everyone. This new spot on Level 1 is tucked away in a corner of the mall where nobody really ventures. The new design feels much smaller and noticeably darker than the original storefront. Instead of the elevated, modern vibe they used to have, the entire layout feels kiddish and looks solely focused on a much younger demographic. It is a shame to see a brand downgrade its shopping environment so drastically. I definitely miss the old location.

MY ULTIMATE GIFT STOP…read more ...and I'm actually really getting into their home decor too :) I literally could spend hours in this store. I'm not much into their clothes, I gravitate more towards their knickknacks, books, accessories, and home goods. They have kooky stuff like hamburger phones, angry birds key caps, giant mustache magnet for the hood of your car, funny coffee cups, silly notepads/notebooks, bottle opener rings, etc. They also have very unique wall art, jewelry organizers, wall hooks, pillows, lighting, etc. Some of my fav purchases: -a flask that says "Hot Mess" -a hardback book with a bunch of tips/lessons/tutorials necessary for life (it's goofy yet friggin informative) -a magentic notepad that says "This is F---ing Urgent" teehee :p FYI- it's part of The Woodlands Mall except it's among the outside stores in the center - across from Barnes & Noble and The Cheesecake Factory.
