They have pieces that are one of a kind, you know that no other girl will be wearing the same thing. The dresses are trendy and chic. The price points are good and you can always catch a deal with one of their sales. One downside: one of the dresses I got is an off white color, the material is polyester I believe, and it has a water mark stain which will not come out; even with dry cleaning. I know I will be returning for a new dress especially with New Years approaching!

Since my dad wasn't allowed near the fitting rooms (which I understand) I expected staff assistance but I had to ask for help multiple times because I was alone. I was told to "hang on" and was never returned to. When I asked my dad for help he was quickly told to leave the area. He also wasn't welcomed in the main waiting area, so I couldn't show him my dress on the stage like other girls were able to do. I had to show him separately. I believe the store could be more welcoming and supportive of father-daughter pairs. We just wanted to share the same special experience as everyone else. Despite this we still purchased a dress because I loved it.

I purchased a beautiful formal dress for a wedding for about $25 that used to be $100+. My favorite mustard yellow, low back, knot sweater comes from here. I love all their denim short styles. I usually wear a 5.5 in high heels instead of a 6 cause your feet slide forward, but their size 6 heels fit me well. So, if you have small feet, you can find cute heels here. I won a drawing last month for a complimentary personal shopper experience. I really didn't need anything per se, but I had an upcoming Yelp Elite event at Tommy Bahama's and wanted to see if there was anything. Marie, the store manager, was so nice and helpful. She helped me select dresses and heels based on my color preference. All of the staff that Monday night were sweet. They made it easy and fun. I ended up with 2 dresses and a pair of heels for the Spring/Summer. I love that 10% of my purchase went to a local charity, which changes every Monday. Although I didn't wear the dresses at the Yelp Elite event, I did wear the shoes!

I spotted two pairs of shoes, jeans, dresses, etc. I liked everything. Honestly, I didnt think Madewell was for me, and I thought they were pretty pricey. How wrong was I? Shame on me! That didnt have the shoes in my size, but that was alright. The sales clerk was so nice to order one pair online for me. The second pair was sold out. I started adding more things to purchase because the clothing at Madewell is not that pricey at all. Also, they had a great sale today, and if you give them your email, that was an additional 25% off.

There are many sections to this store and I saw only about half of the store in my recent visit. I haven't been in here for several years since I had been purchasing my clothes all over the globe to get that chic yet boho and International look. After having to buy black suits for my previous occupations I was ready to express my suppressed wardrobe look for above average global looks. Now I find most clothing stores in the USA boring but Not Anthropology. I hit up their main large room when I entered the store with so many fun global looks to edgier American styles. They have a pretty good sale room where I found a very unique skirt. Some clothes are sheer but well made. Some are designed for colder climates I guess for those who travel down under in the Southern Hemisphere. I found a beautiful lobster sweater that I could only where in the winter. It was newer stock. Their household bedspreads and variety of unique pillow and pillow rolls are exceptional quality. There were hair scarves and so many unique items on the left side of the store also which looked lovely. I only had about an hour in which I saw so many lovely outfits and household items. Yes it's a store where I could spend a few thousand :))! Anyone willing to donate??? If this sounds like your type of store plan on spending about 2 hours and bring your credit card or lots of cash. The staff is friendly and helpful. Anthropology is adjacent outdoors to the mall stores. Many places to park from the big garage over by Barnes and Noble to Valet parking to mall parking. Parking can get crowded at times. I'll definitely be back :)). Recommend!
