If you've been to Five Below, Big Lots, and/or Cost Plus World Market, you'll notice the similarities. They have a wide array of merchandise, but maybe not as many choices in each product line. So they have party supplies, home decor, personal hygiene, pharmacy items (think vitamins and supplements and OTC medicine), snacks and drinks, toys, school/office supplies, craft supplies, and seasonal/holiday items. They just might only have 3-4 shelf units for any one of those lines. But the prices are great. Don't be surprised if you walk up to the register and you don't see anyone - the staff were friendly, but they were all over the store, cleaning, stocking, etc. So the registers are self-serve. There is a gift available if you download their app and register online, and we found someone quickly to help us redeem it. It was a very nice experience, and we definitely want to go back If you're like us at all, some of the items were things we recognized (brand name) at good prices, and some we didn't recognize and the prices weren't super-great. (Shrug). It's very worth visiting and going through the aisles. We found some great deals and interesting items. Your mileage may vary. But it's worth a look.

Today I did not find anything for the bathroom but that's ok. I have been on the fence with 2 pieces. I finally decided to just buy both and see which one I like better. It turns out I love both for my living room. There was the sweetest young lady named Mia. She was organizing the art. And she helped me with my decision. There was one piece I liked just a little more than the other and so did Mia. It turns out the other one looks great over my couch! She even got a ladder to get me one off from the top rack. Each time I notice the Employee greeters only ask certain people to show receipts. I'm not exaggerating. Today 2:40pm I was exiting at the same time a White Male was exiting. The young White Employee only asked to see my receipt. Has WAL-MART trained their employees that only certain races of people steal? On my second visit I was in hospital scrub (Uniform) with only a few items. This Walmart greeter allowed whites and foreigners with baskets full of groceries to exit the store but asked me for my receipt.

She told me I needed to get my eyes checked because I didn't see her. I was with some other person while she was explaining something to us, and she got a phone call said excuse me really fast and answered, and she received the dirtiest look from this women. I understand retail sucks, I used to work in retail, but treating people rudely when we aren't asking for much is INSANE!!
