I was in today -I was in the shop for about five minutes and of the younger girls working greeted me. Finally the older lady working did greet me and was very nice. That is the first time I've ever been welcomed in that store. I usually pop in when I am just in workout gear. Not dressed super cute. But they have no idea the size of my checkbook. Today I bought a blouse and the girl checking me out had a tag hanging from her blouse that she was wearing. I told her her tag was showing and I asked her if she was just going to put that back on the rack and she said yes that they are required to wear clothes from there and that they are allowed to put them back on the rack. I personally think that's disgusting for them to wear clothes all day, work in them & then put them back on the rack to sell. This price point I would not expect that. Super disappointed. Definitely moving on to all the other cute boutiques in the area

Merchandise galor: dresses, shirts, hats, jeans, scarves, picture frames, jewelry, bags, boots, magnets, bottle stoppers, home decor the list can go on and on and on........ 2. Casual Eclectic style: ( For those of you who are more classic than eclectic...dont think they dont have stuff for you either) This store is constantly getting new merchandise and the owner makes it a point to order a limited amount of each style so that your chance of running into your own episode of "who wore it best" is slim to none. Disappointed in product quality and customer service!…read more I purchased a Volcano candle from Adelyn's Boutique and I'm extremely disappointed. The candle has three wicks, yet it will not stay lit. It tunnels badly (the sides don't melt down), the wax builds up around the edges, and there's black soot collecting on the inside of the jar. The wax pool gets so heavy that it repeatedly drowns the flames, and it becomes very difficult to relight. This is not normal performance for a candle and definitely not what I expected. What made this worse was the customer service. When I reached out for help, I felt like Lucy Evans was dismissive and did not follow through. The impression I got was that because she "only sells" the product, she believes she isn't responsible when it arrives defective or performs poorly. As the seller, I believe the boutique should stand behind what it sells and provide clear, timely resolution when a customer receives a faulty item. I won't be shopping here again, and I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If you're considering buying this candle through this boutique, I suggest proceeding with caution. By the appearance I'll say it's better than the last two locations I've visit ( Memorial, & Richmond) This Cypress location downfall is after they inspected your items. They will trash your clothing items that was neatly folded and well organized (& categorized: jeans/short/ athletic/ dresses/ sweaters) in separate bags, they will wrap all the items together. And NOT Correct it. Which is very disappointing and disrespectful. I would never sale any items in that condition, so why in the world would you think it's acceptable to return my items in that condition without correction. When I request her to correct it in the condition it was presented. She told me it was NOT HER JOB TO DO SUCH. no name badge is worn and I was told that shes not allow to give out names or share who is manager or supervisor, upon my request. Additionally::::: My large shopping bag (Burlington's ) which has individual bag inside (coach & Gap) since they only accept two bags. The Burlington shopping bag was completely damaged to the point I could NOT USE IT to secure my items. No shopping bags was replace. I was told they could give me trash bags! (I accepted) however they do NOT ACCEPT ITEMS if you bring them in a "TRASH BAG" This manager who given other people items away, was very aggressive and argumentative when being informed that she has given me items that do NOT belong to me. She wanted to get loud and say all items that was returned was mines. Okay. (That was the end of conversation for me) I tried to do the right thing. The honest thing. Then she proceeded to threaten to call the police if I did not depart in 5 minutes. Which I was completed with folding & organizing my items similar to how I brought them in, I was just placing them in the bags. Yet I'm still receiving texts (4x) after the threat, to come pick up my order. Girl I have exited it building, and you aware because you asked your team for your phone to take a photo of me and my car. This location definitely needs adult supervision. And the youth "manager" needs some improvement. Tip::::: I would also suggest, reviewing the cameras to acknowledge performance and the blending of items, as well as returning unpurchased items to the "Correct" sellers.

Back home when I would take things to Plato's Closet, I never left with them not taking anything. I really think this place honestly has too much inventory because when you look at the racks everything is so crammed in. On top of that, 3 hours for them to go through your clothes? That's ridiculous, especially when I look and there's significantly less than what Uptown Cheapskate is appraising and they can get the job done in 20 minutes. I've been to two Plato's Closets back home and they took MAX an hour on a busy Saturday. I was here on a Tuesday evening. My advice would be to not even bother.
