The owner of LaVeVee is very nice, helpful, buys trendy and fashionable items, anything from shoes to jewelry to clothing. They currently have tons of Houston Texans women's tops and lots of JJ Watt-wear. There was a lot to choose from, items are arranged sensibly and not all crushed together. The saleslady helped me find sizes, made suggestions and was personable but not pushy. They had some super cute sandals on sale today. The prices are reasonable for a boutique. There was a sale today and it's tax free weekend too! When she rang up my items, the cashier told me how much I saved on each item, and then how much I saved on tax free. It was like she was excited for me to save money. And it wasn't an act, either. There are other boutiques in Vintage that are not friendly - this one was great and I love supporting local commerce when they are so appreciative and helpful. I'll definitely shop here again and bypass that 'other store'.

There is a place for moms to sit while waiting for the girls to try their dresses, which is very appreciated! The changing rooms are quite big, and there's lots of huge mirrors. Last year, we tried probably ten stores over quite a few weekends before finding Muzzie's. This year, we went straight to Muzzie's and found something right away on the first day. Disappointed in product quality and customer service!…read more I purchased a Volcano candle from Adelyn's Boutique and I'm extremely disappointed. The candle has three wicks, yet it will not stay lit. It tunnels badly (the sides don't melt down), the wax builds up around the edges, and there's black soot collecting on the inside of the jar. The wax pool gets so heavy that it repeatedly drowns the flames, and it becomes very difficult to relight. This is not normal performance for a candle and definitely not what I expected. What made this worse was the customer service. When I reached out for help, I felt like Lucy Evans was dismissive and did not follow through. The impression I got was that because she "only sells" the product, she believes she isn't responsible when it arrives defective or performs poorly. As the seller, I believe the boutique should stand behind what it sells and provide clear, timely resolution when a customer receives a faulty item. I won't be shopping here again, and I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If you're considering buying this candle through this boutique, I suggest proceeding with caution. The sales rep measured my feet and after a few questions to determine what I needed the shoes for the rep came up with 2 choices for the brand I was looking for Hoka The Clifton 9 and the Bondi 8 The Clifton9 is soft and pillow like feel and the Bondi 8 was a little firmer. I choose the Clifton 9 after trying both on a few times and walking around the store. These will be my work shoes as I stand and walk a lot. The rep recommended these since that is why I was buying shoes. I recommend this place as the rep was helpful and not pushy or in a hurry and answered all my questions and was super helpful. Price was not too bad either as I look as it is an investment in my foot health and comfort.
