Disappointed in product quality and customer service! I purchased a Volcano candle from Adelyn's Boutique and I'm extremely disappointed. The candle has three wicks, yet it will not stay lit. It tunnels badly (the sides don't melt down), the wax builds up around the edges, and there's black soot collecting on the inside of the jar. The wax pool gets so heavy that it repeatedly drowns the flames, and it becomes very difficult to relight. This is not normal performance for a candle and definitely not what I expected. What made this worse was the customer service. When I reached out for help, I felt like Lucy Evans was dismissive and did not follow through. The impression I got was that because she "only sells" the product, she believes she isn't responsible when it arrives defective or performs poorly. As the seller, I believe the boutique should stand behind what it sells and provide clear, timely resolution when a customer receives a faulty item. I won't be shopping here again, and I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If you're considering buying this candle through this boutique, I suggest proceeding with caution. What an AMAZING store with AMAZING staff!! I planned to go to two boutiques today... needless to say I spent maybe 2 hours here! Everything fit!!! Everything looked amazing!!! Everyone was SO helpful, friendly and genuinely nice!!! By the time I left, I felt as if we all knew each other for many years! They never pushed a sale on me, gave me honest opinions, helped me style outfits, suggestions and worked with me at check out to make sure I received my new customer coupon of 15%! Their clothes, accessories, shoes, gifts, nick nacks, candles, scrubbies, so much to choose from and everything is amazing!! Great quality, fair pricing and make sure to check sale racks/ sections! Saturdays they provide margaritas / mimosas / rosè or something like that for you to enjoy while shopping! I cannot wait to come back and bring all my girlfriends and family!!! Since gaining the covid and post marriage "bliss" (lol) weight, it's been hard to shop, buy clothes and feel good about myself. Lately when I go into a boutique I have a dressing room full, yet leave with one or two items. Ladies.... NOT here!!! EVERYTHING fit perfectly!!! I went in here today looking for a boarder for my classroom. It is a very nice store with a lot of interesting items. This is the reason I gave 2 stars. I quickly noticed that people entering the store were greeted. I was not greeted. I was not spoken to at any time while I was in the store. Meanwhile, other customers were being chatted up & asked how they could be helped. I can understand missing someone when they come in the store. But, I have a difficult time with being ignored completely as I moved about the store. Not very good customer service. read more

What a cute store! I am not a teacher but I frequent the coffee place next door, Cafe Marrrese quite often and decided to stop in! This place has only been in business for 4 short months and is the most adorable store!! They do have teacher supplies but are so much more- Kate Spade mugs and stationary, fun jewelry, Mudpie house and giftware, Yeti cups and monogrammed tees. I saw a cute tee for my mom but they didn't have her size. The Store Owner quickly offered to take my information and call me when they get more of the shipment in. Everyone that was there was friendly and helpful! I walked out with a cute gold and white stripped Kate Spade coffee mug and Antler gold necklace (I've seen them all over Pinterest-this one was great quality and not overpriced) This store is much needed in this area and I will be returning to pick up my moms tee and do more shopping!!
