Disappointed in product quality and customer service!…read more I purchased a Volcano candle from Adelyn's Boutique and I'm extremely disappointed. The candle has three wicks, yet it will not stay lit. It tunnels badly (the sides don't melt down), the wax builds up around the edges, and there's black soot collecting on the inside of the jar. The wax pool gets so heavy that it repeatedly drowns the flames, and it becomes very difficult to relight. This is not normal performance for a candle and definitely not what I expected. What made this worse was the customer service. When I reached out for help, I felt like Lucy Evans was dismissive and did not follow through. The impression I got was that because she "only sells" the product, she believes she isn't responsible when it arrives defective or performs poorly. As the seller, I believe the boutique should stand behind what it sells and provide clear, timely resolution when a customer receives a faulty item. I won't be shopping here again, and I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If you're considering buying this candle through this boutique, I suggest proceeding with caution. I have driven past this store for a few years now and I finally decided today was the day I would…read moreget out and explore it. Good- It reminds me of the boutiques you see while walking through the French Quarter in New Orleans. Very eclectic and uniquely artistic. They have bright neon colored decor and flamboyant 1/2 mannequins with full makeup on dripping in costume jewelry. I was mesmerized more by the way the store was presenting its wares, than the actual products themselves. I saw a couple of super cute, but expensive jackets, and a beautiful tie- dyed tube dress. They have Miss Me jeans, cute sun dresses, and lots of interesting items, that you are sure not to find everywhere. Bad- It looked kind of hit or miss with the offerings. I was in the store a good five minutes or so, before anyone even bothered to muster up a greeting, and it was half hearted at that. Almost as if, she could hardly be bothered. Hey, everyone has an off day, but if even you don't want to be in there, who will? Maybe they could use some fun music to liven the place up. Unfortunately, the entire experience was worthy of only 2.5 stars, but that's not an option. Ugly- Nothing bad to report although, I will say this store would fare much better in Austin. It is certainly not going to appeal to everyone, as it seems a bit outlandish with a few designers I have seen do well in Europe. The sheeple that like all things beige and typical of Woodland's mall attire, may struggle to find something that fits in with their crowd. Personally, I think it would be fun to dress up like some of the mannequins. I really liked their neon colored tutus. They were down right cute! This of course is coming from a die hard NOLA fan and people are just more funky and fun there.

I used to like going into this boutique to shop for clothing, etc. but my most recent trip to shop…read morewas not pleasant. I've had a pretty tough March with my father passing away, my husband has been extremely ill and I did not get a chance to stop in since it was my birthday month. I love purchasing the Kendra Scott jewelry and getting the little perk you get for doing so. I stopped in on Good Friday, which was yes, April 3rd and I simply asked if I could still get the discount and the manager (blonde lady, there might be more than one manager)....she was super rude and just said, "It's APRIL." NO. I had planned on also purchasing a rather expensive statement piece, but after that answer.....I just wanted to leave. They don't need my money and I can purchase Kendra Scott elsewhere. I don't think I'll ever go back. She could have been nicer about it. I understand it was April, but seriously. A little kindness goes along way, and this lady needs some.
