Now, those features are broken and we were just told they don't make the parts anymore. Seriously? Instead of standing behind their product, they told us we had to come in and "make a reselection." That's not a solution when there's nothing in the store we want -- especially nothing comparable to what we paid for. We asked for a refund and were flat-out denied. Hellen, the manager on duty in Conroe, just said it was out of her control. Well, who is in control then? On memorial day weekend of 2023, we bought a loveseat + sofa combination, which both included recliners and charging ports. We enjoyed this Furniture very much for about 11 months and then the wood frame cracked on the loveseat. Rooms To Go sent a repair person who placed repair order for parts after examining it. But then we got a call from Rooms To Go saying that they would just replace the whole loveseat with a brand new one. Very cool! They just installed the new loveseat a few minutes ago and it looks great. After purchasing a sectional for my home, and as it was being delivered on (November 19, 2025),I expressed dissatisfaction as it did not include the necessary plugs on one end and a broken one on the other. In addition, after seeing it in my room, it was not what I was looking for. I asked the delivery team to take it back but they refused, stating I would have to arrange this with the store where I made the purchase. Ok. Later that day I went to the store to try to make a return request and select something else. I was told my original salesperson would need to assist me and he was not in the store in this day. Ok. On Friday, November 21, 2025, I made another attempt to resolve this when I was told that there would be a 20% restocking fee. I asked for a manager for assistance. The store manager approached me and aggressively told me about the restocking fee. I expressed dissatisfaction and while I was attempting to explain my frustration, the manager walked away, telling me she was. "Done with me". I followed her to ask for her name and her manager's name, as she continued to walk away. As we approached the office area in the back of the store, another employee emerged and proceeded to tell me, "Get the fuck out of my store, bitch!' We've never been to a Rooms To Go store and I would highly recommend this location. JD was our sales associate and very accommodating for what we were looking for. We've had our furniture for a few days now, and the hardest part is now keeping our fur-babies off of it. I ordered a sofa and loveseat from them online. I was unable to go into the store, and Jacob helped me over the phone. He is SO kind and patient and took his time not only explaining the process, but being very compassionate to my situation. He also sent me photos of what I ordered. Describing everything in detail. I had to call a few times with questions cuz without sitting on them or seeing the color in person is stressful. Their furniture has significantly changed, very cheaply made. I had to switch out a sofa multiple times due to something. It was either broken or the cushions didn't match. Cushions were made differently or some were firm and some were soft. No consistency. 3 new couches were delivered, however, with each one something was wrong. It was either the frame was broken, the backing was collapsed or cushions were inconsistent. The backing is literally made of a cardboard piece and the legs are now all plastic. When I say a cardboard piece, it's like taking an Amazon box and cutting a rectangular shaped portion of it. That thin, that cheap. Even though I have the extended warranty. customer service is absolutely horrible. I have been waiting for someone to call me back on next steps and have been dealing with this issue for well over a month. Not to mention it took me 2 months+ to get the other items swapped out. Ottoman was dented and the table legs were too short. Got the run around there several times as well, but finally they were exchanged and perfect. I just called back again and said "This is my 2nd time to call back because I haven't received a call back to provide a status update". The customer service agent hung up on me. Unbelievable. Finally, was able to speak with someone. They had me resend the video I sent 2 weeks ago. Definitely feel like I'm getting the run around again. They want to adjust 20% ($156) for a damaged couch, which doesn't seem like much when I want to say I spent $4,000-$5,000 for everything. So I go to another RTG in cypress which I waited another 3 months, got my 2nd server it was Damage, waited another 3 months and it was scratched. So #3 came today, 2wks later and was worse then the 2nd one! And when I say I'm so upset is not even the half of it.. Customer service socks! Except for a young lady name Keisha she was very nice and helpful. But from management to sales guys terrible. The way they do business is that they will tell you item is in stock and fully charge you and when you change delivery time or choose to pick it up at earlier date, you will be told about their LIVE INVENTORY policy which basically means they have the right to sell your item and now its out of stock and you have to wait to get it when its available. So your purchases are not only not being held, they are sold to someone else. Thats should be illegal selling a sold item again. They don't tell you or show you this policy in writing. The sales person we had was JD he was wonderful! The furniture I picked out looked great at the store. However, I wouldn't know how it looks, it was never delivered on time. I purchased, and paid for priority delivery. However I never received my furniture, I called customer care they stated that they knocked on the door and no one answered. That was complete BS (lie) I was home all day long waiting for my furniture to be delivered, no one knocked I have a camera at the door that I can gladly show that not a single soul knocked at the door. The delivery was scheduled for yesterday July 26 anywhere from 11-2, then I received a notification that the time was moved from 2:40-3:10 then I received a call that the time changed again from 3-7 then when my husband and I called at 7 to ask where our furniture was they said it was too late and dispatch was closed. When I called him to complain that it was 7pm and my order was supposed to be delivered between the hours of noon and 4:00, he did not at any time apologize for the inconvenience. Instead, he asked me if I read my contract which states that the delivery window is just a courtesy and that they deliver all night. His demeanor was rude, brash, gruff and unprofessional. We've purchased from Rooms to Go previously and this particular store without any hitch. In fact my husband and I had furnished an entire home in 2018..so in 2019 when the opportunity presented itself for us to furnish a home by the lake we had NO reservations about patronizing this establishment again. We could not have been more wrong! The experience as a whole was exhausting and awful! We purchased a "set" of furniture according to a special the store/Company was running in order to obtain a "free" television. It was mid October, and we had plenty of time to get things ordered and delivered by December 15th, which was our deadline. Our salesperson was fine...not really one way or the other, basically collected his commission for the sale. He was specific about free delivery and that the voucher for TV would be with delivery of furniture. Most of furniture was delivered as specified except the salesman did not fill us in on a TINY detail of delivery...the delivery guys merely dropped furniture at door, LITERALLY! I talked the guys into pulling inside my home, but really..just inside home. This will be brushed off by their headquarters by saying t was "coronavirus related" but I find that insane...with proper PPE and distancing guidelines followed they were in no more danger than dropping it off at my home, and if so...I should have been notified. There was no TV voucher since the coffee & end tables were back ordered, which we were not told at purchase that delivery of voucher was only upon delivery of entire set of furniture...which we had NO control over! It DID make a difference to us since we were renting the home we were furnishing...we had tables we could substitute temporarily, but not a television set. My husband called, but was brushed off by manager, so he made a trip to the store...where the manager hid out in his office for an extended period of time. . My husband called again following day to make an appointment..then explained situation again, manager was unavailable. He made another trip and spoke to salesman to no avail. He was angry at this point and called the corporate office..to which he was told he must work it out with the store. So he was, for all intended purposes "black listed" by the corporate headquarters and left to mercy of the store that was inadequately trained/prepared to handle a customer service issue. Our only saving grace was after a few run-around with the store a visiting manager from the Woodlands assisted us in getting everything straightened out. By the way, our outstanding pieces of furniture has been pushed back numerous times by then and exceeded our deadline. All pieces are the same manufacturer, so clearly they know there is a problem with the product. The driver decided to install them sideways and, when I asked customer service to redeliver the same day, I was told to wait 7 days as if it was my fault. I am giving 1 star because it won't let me put zero. My husband bought the most expensive bedroom set they had at the store and they delivered a broken dresser IN AUGUST! They tried fixing it and replacing it (for broken items) TWICE!! We are asking for replacement within the next 2 weeks or 50% refund for the dresser. I hate to leave a bad review, but I have to in this case. We ordered three pieces of furniture from RTG - a sofa, a storage console, and a kids bed. The sofa arrived in good shape. The storage console arrived extremely dusty and dirty (normal dust and black dust from the paint). The kids bed was the biggest headache of all. It showed up broken, we scheduled a replacement (to arrive two weeks later). Our delivery never arrived. It was scheduled for noon, and RTG finally decided to reschedule us at 9pm...for it to arrive a month later. We finally get the bed replaced. It shows up broken again. Third time's the charm!? Third delivery - it shows up scratched. AND they left their box cutter on my toddler's nightstand. Good thing I saw it before he did. We'll live with the scratch on the bed, but this was definitely our last RTG purchase. We bought a bedroom set a few years ago, and it, too, showed up scratched in multiple places. It's just never been a good experience, and I've always been hopeful (until now) since the prices are decent. Skip RTG and check out Wayfair. Similar prices, and I've never had an issue with them. OH! Cherry on top - RTG won't give you a full refund if you want to return your furniture. You only get 80% back. They also give you the option to choose a different piece of furniture (if you have the same issue multiple times with a piece of furniture like we did), but it has to be the same price or more expensive. They're all about keeping your $$. Laughable. read more

That was the omen for things to come as I spent HOURS on phone with "customer service." Crazy # of episodes of non-communication on delivery dates/times. After all this, the total "credit" was our delivery charge. Well, after 2+ months and I think SIX (6) visits to the house later, including one laughable episode where we had THREE "techs" at the house, including the "supervisor," trying to remove a single allen-head bolt that earlier guy had stripped, we're finally done. Worst customer service ever. As I walked in was greeted, I let her know I purchased something online and wanted to see in in person. She pretty much was like ok and proceeded to sit on some couches with the rest of the employees. Not once offering to help me located the item I was looking for. I was also in because I wanted to purchase a bedroom set for my son. Finally after walking the store and not locating item I walk up to the employees all sitting on couches chatting. Today our delivery arrived and we received the wrong chairs, because she ordered the wrong chairs. We called to let them know and to ask for the correct chairs to be delivered. Unfortunately Vickie Giovannie was quick to blame us for "changing out minds" (when she ordered the wrong set of chairs to start with) and saying we could not exchange the chairs without paying a restocking and delivery fee. I spoke to the store manager (Eric I believe his name is) and he didn't care what I had to say, he just say we got what was on the order, we agreed on it, now we have to pay a restocking fee and delivery fee if we wanted the other chairs, since we changed our minds.
