Salesman Larry was nice and knows his stuff but started to whine a little bit when we said we wanted to look around at other stores before we commit to a certain mattress set. Delivery is free but we literally have been waiting all day for our set it's now 9pm and still no delivery. I called at 7:50 and Larry answered and said well I said before 8 yeah well if they are not here in 10 minutes you guys close at 8? Apparently I'm sleeping on the floor tonight and when I get home I get to come back to the store and ask wtf? Perhaps I'll just cancel my purchase as nothing has been delivered as promised anyway. I had a great experience in this store thanks to a helpful guy, Louis, who listened to our budget and requirement for a queen pillow top. He recommended an item fitting our expectations without pressuring us or any games (something we really were dreading about buying a mattress). We needed the bed delivered the next day and Louis was able to make it happen. We will need another bed for a 2nd bedroom and we'll be getting it here. I purchased a mattress set and used their 100 days same as cash option. I was never told I had to reset up payments with the financing company to ensure it is paid in 100 days. I take blame for not doing the math but when I specifically say I want it paid in 100 days and she says no problem this is your payments. I believed what I was told especially since I was never told I had to contact the finance company to make my payment bigger to get paid off. Now because of my sales person lack of communication whether it was on purpose or not I am paying almost triple what I agreed too. I never received my agreement, I was told I would receive it in an email. Turns out my email was "wrong" in the system. Get all details before buy! Don't be trusting like I was! read more

The sales guy is the only good thing about this store. The rest is poor communication, mislabeled pricing, and straggling with your money. I am from Dallas and bought a mattress while in Houston over a holiday weekend. I asked if there was an additional delivery charge; I was told no, since their only warehouse is in Austin, which is equidistant from Dallas and Houston. I processed my order and was told to expect delivery the following Saturday. Saturday comes and no delivery; I called and received a story about the delivery truck having an accident, but I was re-assured my mattress would come Sunday. Sunday came, but the mattress did not. Monday I called and the salesman forwarded my concern to the warehouse; apparently the owner of the company saw my order and decided he wanted a $200 delivery charge for Dallas rather than the regular $86. I was not told this, my order was simply withheld and my money kept. Then came the refund. I asked for an immediate refund and was told that a refund would take 1-3 business days to process. After a week I called and was forwarded to their office, which informed me that a "refund specialist" had not yet approved my transaction. The specialist did and I was again told to expect a refund within 1-3 days. After yet another week and no refund I called and threatened to inform the Better Business Bureau. I got my refund the following business day. Lesson learned. Go to Mattress Firm; similar prices and more honest processes. read more

I will never buy from this company again nor would I recommend anyone else but there. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. We were told our beds would be delivered the day after we purchased them but it took 2 weeks to receive them without notification from the company. I had to call repeatedly and question why there were delays. Once we finally received the products & we're not satisfied with them, it took forever to get the problem remedied. I like the yelper above have had many problems with communication from this company & getting answers. Every time I called customer service, my hold times exceeded 1.5 hours & then I would be disconnected. AVOID MATTRESS 1 AT ALL COSTS!! read more

The sales guy that helped us out was very sweet so no complaints there! But my husband and I found out 5 months later that they delivered us the wrong mattress. After going back into the store and calling their customer service line they still decided to charge us $86 for the delivery fee when it was their fault for shipping us the wrong mattress. The customer service lady was very rude and negative and overall-it was a horrible experience. They don't care about their customers, it's all about the money. Wouldn't recommend!!!! read more

My wife and I went into the store to look for a new mattress. We were greeted by Robert, the salesman, who seemed very knowledgeable about the products. After we decided on a mattress, we were going to leave and talk it over and visit other stores because they couldn't deliver until January 1st. As were leaving Robert offered a bigger discount, motorized frame and delivery on 12/31. At 5pm on 12/31, I had to call the store to check on the delivery. That's when I was told the truck had issues. He then said he would work with our schedule for delivery today. My wife told him in the morning as we have plans for the day. He told her it couldn't be until after 5pm. I then asked to speak to the manager, Corey, and have yet to call from him, but Robert offered a $400, refund for the issues. Really, it's not about the money you already have my money and then 10-14 days to get the refund. So my wife calls the store this morning to find out Dan did not have all the information on the delivery and he would call back. She had to call him and he still was saying he would check on it. Still no resolution so I would not use this store as the customer service is horrible and make promises that can't be kept. I do feel Robert is the issue, used car sales type attitude, but none the less he is representing the company. read more

This place is the pits! Go to Mattress Firm.... Daughter went in to buy her first new bed for her first apartment. Guys were nice, they had a good sale. Good to go. Scheduled the delivery for August 13, 2016. They gave her a 12 hour delivery window which is INSANE, but okay. 4 pm on delivery day, still no word from them and no bed. I have her call and the guy says...."we don't deliver in Austin on Saturdays, your delivery must have been scheduled for the 15th". The receipt...clear as day, says the 13th. He tells her that they will reschedule for the 16th and they will compensate her. So, the phone rings on the 15th at 9 am asking her to open the gate so they can deliver the bed. Problem is....she is in Cypress. She calls the store again and tells them the issue and they say "We don't know what you are talking about, you declined delivery". I have her go up to the store and she talked to Marty. This guy is a piece of work. Unhelpful, rude, unwilling to help her out as she has had to go back and forth to Austin as now the new delivery date is Friday, August 19th. She left the store, went to Mattress Firm who not only gave her the same price as she paid, but upgraded her bed. Now to the real fun part...trying to get our money back. It is 10 days later and we still have no refund from Mattress One. My daughter has had to go over to the store 3 times, call the Corporate office several times and still nothing. I finally called on the 22nd and tried to speak with Marty, but he was unavailable. No return call. They keep claiming it is Corporate's responsibility. Came into the Cypress location and was greeted by a gentleman by the name of Gary. This sales guy was so knowledgeable and patient with me and my husband. We have never bought a new mattresss its always been hand me downs. He really listened to our concerns and we ended up getting a new mattress which is a Icomfort hybrid type, F500. So comfortable. I would recommend going in and talking to Gary, he was so great. read more

I recently visited the Mattress One store on Hwy 290 in Cypress, TX. I was looking for a mattress for my sister who has chronic back problems so making a good decision on a mattress that is "right" for her can be a daunting and frustrating process. Marty was our salesperson and he was professional and courteous and very knowledgeable about the differences from one mattress to another. He was also very intuitive about her needs after having her test a few mattresses and asking how she felt about each one. Mattress One was having a President's Day sale which brought us into the store in the first place but after leaving this store to shop others in the area, we returned to not only buy one for my sister but for my husband and myself as well! We are more than pleased with both mattresses and price! Kudos to Marty for his patience and willingness to help. Purchased a Bed July 17, 2015 at Mattress One, 25626 Northwest Freeway, Cypress, Tx 77429. Store called July 28, said the bed had arrived and set up delivery for July 31, 2015. No delivery came, no phone call to cancel, nothing. Called store and person identified them self as the Co-Owner said there was "nothing she could do to assist us, it was in the hands of the delivery warehouse", she was indifferent and non-concerned about the situation. The Co-owner only would give us the contact number of the warehouse and said goodbye. We were very upset to say the least but called he warehouse/delivery folks who said the bed had not even arrived for delivery and schedule delivery for Aug 7. On Aug 7, the mattress came but with the wrong box springs. They scheduled delivery of the correct box springs for Aug 12. Aug 12, the box springs delivered were the wrong size, they came back later same day with the correct box springs but there were holes/tears in the sides of the box springs. They promised to deliver the new box springs Aug 22. Today is Aug 22, No delivery and no call to cancel. We called the warehouse but the manager is to busy to speak with us and we were told he would to return our call. By the way, the warehouseman could not tell us when the box springs would be delivered. We purchased the bed set July 17, today is August 22 and after talking $2219.13 from us, we still do not have what we paid for. The store owners have never offered any assistance except to give us the phone number of the warehouse and have waived us off. I have reported this to the BBB and now waiting for a response. Not sure if others have the same experience at this location or with Mattress One as we have but wanted to report to the potential consumers out there of our experience and we do not recommend you purchase anything at this location, or with this company period.
