I like this place! Found some cool artwork I picked up for my new place. I find that they have some things that Michaels doesn't which makes sense for them to even exist. I would say where they beat Michaels is with home decor. I think they are both pretty similar with the majority of their product line. But if I had to decorate a new place that had nothing on the walls or shelves, i'd pick Hobby Lobby. If I had to set up an art studio for fine art, i'd pick Michaels. Hope that helps, I included pictures of what I bought at this hobby lobby. Pricing was good due to a sale I took advantage of.

Enter at your own creative risk. This place is Disneyland for DIY projects and craft-a-holics. There were rows and rows and rows of scrapbooking supplies, yarns, ribbons, floral items and much, much, much more. Each area was nicely arranged by category. Christmas items were 40% off. We were on a wedding ceremony & reception mission. There were lots of ribbons, floral supplies and all things wedding! Nothing was out of place. We were able to check off lots of our decorating "to do" list from this store. If I weren't flying, I would have bought more items.

Front of the store at night! Ready or not, here comes my platinum Visa!

I'm a huge Hobby Lobby fanatic. BIG TIME. I went to their stores for years in Utah and when they opened up the first store in WA in Lynnwood I lost my mind. I came to the Everett store for the first time and enjoyed the visit. This store is smaller compared to the other Hobby Lobby locations in the greater Seattle area and is actually the smallest one I've ever been to. Still, they have a good selection. They have a good selection of material, floral, and seasonal items. They also have a great supply for scrapbooking, card making, wood working, painting, framing, jewelry making and miscellaneous things like kids projects, story boards, and party supplies. In addition, they have a good variety of household goods for decorating or use in a wedding such as candles, vases, candlesticks, letter sorters, mirrors, pictures, signs, and much more. Custom framing is always 50% off! They can do it for you while you wait in about 1 hour or you can drop it off and come back in about a week. They have sales all the time. Check out the sign posted near the entrance to see what's on sale when you visit. They also have a stack of flyers to take and use while shopping or take home. I dislike their website; it's pretty much stuck in 1999 so not the best for online shopping. Hobby Lobby has an app for your phone that gives you 40% one item any freaking time! Use it! Classes are also available. Learn how to decorate a cake or paint with acrylics. Remember that Hobby Lobby is closed on Sundays and they close at 8 PM - different than all other retailers that typically stay open till 9 pm and are open daily. This is to give their people a day of rest with their families and to make sure folks aren't working late at night. I find that refreshing.

Cheap stock, rude employees. Never going back. Not worth going out of your way for. Spend your money at a good local store.

I am not a crafter by a long shot, but I spent such a fun hour or so in this store that I decided they deserved the kudos.

I showed up on Black Friday looking for a new vacuum to replace my 6-7 year old Shark. The Shark…read morehas been fine, it's needed a brush replacement and plenty of filter replacements and cleanings as it's bagless, but it's just not really keeping up with our two dogs and current lifestyle. Amanda greeted me right away and started getting information on what I was looking for, what machine I have currently, aspects of my house layout that might impact my decision, etc. My own research on what to get next led me to SEBO, and Amanda demo'd both the Felix (which is what I was originally thinking would be a good fit) and the E3 (which ended up being a better fit and what I ended up going with). The E3 has been amazing. It doesn't try to sell you with all kinds of gimmicky technology, sensors, systems, etc. It has just enough to make sure I am at the right brush height, don't have anything stuck, and can alert me to when the bag needs changing. The SEBO does as well in one pass as the Shark would do only after I took a rubber broom to loosen up all the embedded dog hair, and it can get all the way under furniture my Shark had no chance to get under because it can lay practically flat. And the kicker? It's even quieter than the Shark. I never thought I'd be spending four-digits on a vacuum cleaner but, like with my Herman Miller office chair, this is one of those buy once, cry once kind of things (or at least buy once every decade or more kind of things). The warranty is fantastic and knowing I can just bring it to my closest Quality S&V location for service is even better. No futzing with online claims, no shipping, no waiting for contractors to come out, I can just bring it in locally. Thanks Amanda, and thanks Quality Sewing & Vacuum! :)

Oh my goodness goodness gracious! This place is truly a quilter's paradise. I had never even heard…read moreof it before, but was passing through Snohomish recently and, of course, my car swerved into their parking lot as soon as I passed by. Downstairs, the place is about half fabric and half classrooms of various sizes. The fabric area is mainly quilting cottons, with a decent selection of patterns, and a recently-updated yarn area for the knitting and crochet crowd. They carry most of the main fabric designers for quilting, as well as batiks, holiday prints, and tons of solids and mixers. Accessories include any ruler, tool, or notion you could possibly need for quilting; plus they have sewing-inspired gifts, too. Upstairs, there are more classrooms (including a pay by the hour longarm rental room) and a large Bernina showroom. This area also has more patterns, as well as bagmaking supplies. The supply selection here is pretty good - lots of zippers, d-rings, etc. However, as with most things bagmaking, there just didn't seem to be enough stuff to satisfy my cravings for things like printed vinyl, waterproof canvas, rainbow zippers, etc. The sad truth for bagmakers is that it's hard to find a local option to shop these things; I end up buying most of my supplies online or at the Sew Expo. That being said, if you're a beginning bagmaker I'm sure you would find their supplies more than adequate. The staff I encountered were friendly and helpful, too - I was a little nervous about this after reading previous reviews, but I had no issues with service. I ended up buying a quilt pattern book and a really cool fabric-focused wall calendar that I can't wait to start using in January. I'll definitely be coming back here, and I hope to take a class or two in 2025.
