I ordered two Blackwing 602 pencils. The price is good. The shipping is fast. Happy to have done business with Jag Artworks.

Their online store has huge selection of origami paper and artisan paper from all over the world. With a click of the mouse you can order whatever paper you fancy. They even carry hard to get papers like Kraft and Elephant hide. I happened to be traveling in the area and decided to make a detour to check out the physical store. The owner Kimberly and her husband are very courteous and offered me good direction to their little shop on the mountain. I felt like a kid in the candy store as soon as I walked in. I've never seen so many origami papers in one place. They are both avid folders so of course the store is filled with their creations (see pictures). I probably spent about 1.5 hours in the store, talking to them about paper, life, and traveling. I highly recommend to check out their physical or online store if you are interested in origami. I am not kidding you when I say anything related to origami that you can think of you will find it in their store. I bought several large pieces of paper but didn't want to carry them those tube containers, so they kindly cut the paper into 12x12 squares for me. Tip: They have some amazing double sided dual colored Kraft paper which is very hard to come by outside of Europe.

Go on a clear day as the studio is located in the lower Cascade mountains with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. This is a wonderful shop full of absolutely gorgeous papers from around the world. Large size artisan papers, by Rossi, Carta Varese, Kartos, Zander's Elephant Hide Paper - just to name a few. I was told they also have the largest selection of origami papers outside of Japan. Any items found on their web site can be purchase at the studio.

Stopped in again on a Sunday and browsed a bit. Talked to Gordy, the owner, and one of the nicest…read moreguys you will ever meet. He is feeling the financial pressure of a brick and mortar business that deals in solid media. Having to close is becoming more and more of a possibility. That would be a loss to anyone that appreciates solid music: Gordy and his place is a treasure. He has LP's, DVDs, CDs, Tapes (and even some cassettes and 8 tracks in boxes). The largest inventory in the Northwest. And great prices. I noticed this time that he has many more vintage receivers, turn-tables and equalizers than he had the last time, so if you are thinking of buying from ebay--go here instead--I bet he has a deal going. This place has been around for 34 years with this guarantee: "No time limit, you don't need a receipt, and you don't need a price tag." Great prices, deep inventory, and personal integrity--a "must support" business. Highly recommend you get in there soon and browse the aisles! Sundays are best.
