John was cool and gave me the mini tour of the comic store. If there was something you were looking for. He was nice enough to show you the general area where to look. In the back room they had tables and tables of cheap dollar boxes. Tons of comic book goodness to look through at a great price. It took me a few minutes but I found some great comics to buy. These guys have a wonderful shop that is clean and well organize. I come in every week now and know right where to look for what I want. They go the extra mile, they know what I like and make cool suggestions. Russ has sold me a lot of full runs, including Spider-Man and Conan to name a couple. They have a HUGE selection of affordable comics! They have everything from artwork to bundles, to graphic novels and books. I am so grateful to have met Russ and John as I started out my comic collection after a 30 year break. The prices were fair too! They have a refrigerator with lots of different types of beverages. I also asked if they were dog friendly, which they are as long as they don't make a mess so I brought in our two fur babies who got some pets from the staff. The posted pictures are all outdated and deceiving. The hours stated 10-5pm, no open signs at all 2pm on a Friday. Apparently you can't even just go into the building, it's by appointment only. But you only know that once you show up and read the tiny note on the door. This is not a store like it advertises it to be. If you don't want people to know you're there then take down your sign or make it more generic. All these bad reviews make a lot of sense now, so take all of our advice and don't waste your time with whatever this is.
