This is a pretty cool shop. It's definitely convenient for me since I live in Lake Stevens. I came here to buy cards and they seem to have a pretty big collection. You will have to do some searching if you're looking for common cards as they have big stacks, but the worker was very helpful with helping me get the cards I as looking for. They seemed pretty knowledgeable as well. They also have a discord and email address if you want to request cards in advance. I'd say price wise their cards are fair, but i wouldn't say the best of the best deals. It's kind of to be expected considering they're not a huge store and have to keep things running. Considering this is a local gem, I definitely appreciate this store for what it is. I'll definitely be visiting this place again when I'm in need of some cards. read more

Great shop that has a good amount of singles for your TCG needs. There aren't many stores in the PNW that keep a good selections of Pokémon but this is one of them! If you need to find product I would suggest trying Next Level out. I always enjoy checking out the retro games they have in stock and the staff have always been friendly and welcoming. Avoid This Place - Go Anywhere Else, Even GameStop I brought in three totes full of games--roughly 150 titles. There were GameCube, PS1, and a mix of solid $10-$20 games. Nothing insanely rare, but definitely the kind of inventory any game shop would love to stock in a storefront. I wasn't looking to list them online and just wanted a fair deal. They had me wait for an hour, only to come back and offer $100 for everything. That's insulting. They're going to turn around and make $1,500-$2,000 off that lot, easy. I would have been fine with $200 or even $300 just for the convenience, but this offer was a complete joke. To top it off, I called ahead to ask about resurfacing costs and was told it was $3 per disc. I get there, and the guy says it's actually $4--no flexibility, no courtesy, even after they just ripped me off. This place has gotten greedy. They clearly don't care about building relationships with customers--they're just looking to lowball and flip for max profit. I get a lot of games and would've kept coming back, but not anymore. I'll find another shop that respects sellers and pays fair. Do yourself a favor: trade in your games somewhere else. Even GameStop would treat you better. read more

Good used selection at reasonable prices. I love coming in here to grab random old cheap games that may or may not end up being good, but not knowing is half the fun. Staff is knowledgeable and the one time I bought a scratched disc they accepted the return no problem. read more

I seem to be on a roll with reviewing the retro video game stores in this area, and apparently Yelp saw it fit to recommend this place to me. Well, it's about time I took it to the next level and reviewed this place! Yeah, I never run out of terrible puns. This is a nice little video game store, although they didn't really have anything I need. I guess I already own all the video games I'm interested in. The selection at this store unfortunately has a very high proportion of worthless shovelware titles, although perhaps that's to be expected. I've had the exact same complaint about a few other stores. The actual good gems you're probably looking for are few and far between, but I'm not really going to hold that against the store because anything of value probably gets picked up by some customer very quickly. One cool feature that differentiates this store is a back room area where you can pick any games from their selection and play it on their consoles and TVs for four dollars per hour. Only the Wii U, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One are excluded from this. A final note is that you probably have to park your car on the street to get here; they have no private lot, but street parking here isn't particularly challenging. read more

One star reviews are reserved for businesses that need a reality check. I've been in customer service for over 20 years and I feel it is important that consumers see the positives and the negatives. I have sporadically come to this store for my retro gaming wants and needs. And I have to give it to these guys for having awesome customer service. I love walking in there shooting the with these guys. I was looking for Mario 64 last week through all the normal trends for looking games (offer up, let go, eBay, Facebook market place) and I couldn't find the game, if I did see a copy people were wanting something ridiculous for it. So, I decided to goto the Facebook page of these guys and ask the question if they had a copy, with in a little bit I got a message replying back indicating they did indeed have a copy and sent me a link to purchase it online or simply just come into the store and pick it up. Was very delighted to hear they had one ran my happy ass down there and purchased it for a decent price too (thanks guys) Cool thing is now that I have that copy, my son now gets to feel the pain I went through when playing that game! (Insert evil laugh here) All in all, I happy with my purchase and how it was conducted online and in the store. You guys are an amazing small business and keep up the awesome work. Also side note! Now that they have two setups for VR and sell beer I am all over and going to take advantage of that. Just wish there was a place to sit if you were having a beer. read more

I stumbled in here while waiting for an event to start. The outside display is a bit cluttered with lots of stuff going on so I just bypassed it and went inside. It's pretty small and has a small selection of games. They do have Retro games so that was cool but the decor was lackluster. Most of the shop was halfassed boarded off for gaming areas. The gaming times weren't posted. And I thought it was very unprofessional they had each tournaments winners scribbled on the wall with a Sharpie. The game selection was great for older consoles. But once I walked in I had a pizza box from next door and was judged very badly as being a teen , they believed I was attempting to steal something which I take offense to. So the lady lurked around giving me looks and also dissed on a game I was trying to purchase. She called it stupid which I take offense in. My friends were also there to witness, they were frowned upon because we are teens. Other than that it was okay. But it also smelt very badly like used pampers. Best video game store in WA state. I come in here every time I am in Everett. They offer a better trade in value than other used game store and have a great selection of first class used titles for the XBox 360. The clerks are always helpful and have never led me astray with thier suggestions. They usually ask you about what you have been playing recently and what you like and actually listen to you before making a suggestion. This is a great used video game store for taking trips down memory lane. My boyfriend and I decided to check this place out today and see if they had any N64 games. Turns out they have almost all the older systems included the Sega and original Nintendo. Yay! I gave them three stars do to the fact they have alot of the older games I like. However i'll never return because I found out the guy charged us an extra ten dollars each on both of our purchases. I was so excited when I got home that I looked up their website to see what else they had and saw they had both games we purchased for way less than what we got charged. And no it wasnt for membership or anything or tax. The website said 44.99 for my game and I got charged 54.99. Plus 5 for tax. Moral of the story is check their price online before you go in here or they might try to rip you off. read more

I took in a massive amount of games about a year and a half ago, that we no longer played. They checked them all out meticulously, impressed they were in such great condition. There were games for GameCube, Wii, and PlayStation 1 and 2. They issued a gift card for approximately $250. I used approximately $120 of the balance that day. Today I found the card in my wallet and decided that I should give it to a woman I know who is financially struggling right now so maybe it could help give her kids a better Christmas this year. I called the number on the back of the card to find out the exact balance left on the card so I could let her know. I was informed that they got a "new system" about a year ago and are now longer honoring those gift cards and there is nothing they will do for me. This is completely unacceptable. I feel defrauded and that they have basically stolen these games for their inventory. I will be following this review up by filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It may not right their wrong but hopefully it will keep them from defrauding anyone else. If this is their business model, I will NEVER bring my business here again and will share this experience anywhere I can and with everyone I can. read more

Great place for a party! I don't know much about their inventory but all the 11 years old that came to the party got to play games they were stoked about. The guys that work there try really hard to be accommodating. They were patient, upbeat and very helpful. It was very cool to bring in our own snacks and let the boys play for a couple of hours. Don't shop here! My first experiences with the store went really well. I bought games and traded in my entire collection of super nes games (50 plus titles), with good service and an overall good experience. My last couple experiences have been horrible. The ever shifting employees that work there don't seem to know the policy's of the store and I find I get different answers depending on the random employee I ended up coming across. My most recent transaction was the final straw. I went in to buy a game and explicitly asked the employee about the store's return policy. His answer was the stipulation on whether or not I would purchase the game. He claimed that there was a 2 day return policy for full money back and I would have nearly a month to exchange if the game happened to be defective. On THAT information I decided to purchase the game for a little over 40 dollars. That night I found that I did not receive acceptance from my wife in the purchase and told her that I would just return the game the next day. Again, on the word of the employee I had made the purchase from. In trying to return the game the following day (it hadn't even been removed from the case), I encountered another new face. This gentleman explained to me that I could not return a used game. That the only return available were for if the game was defective. In which case I could only exchange it for the same title. I explained what I had been told and that it was the single reason I purchased the game in the first place. He showed little empathy and continued to repeat himself, claiming there were nothing he could do. He said I could speak to the owner and that would be the only person that could rectify my situation. I do plan on talking to the owner but do not expect much given some of my previous experiences at this location. I basically feel like my money was stolen through false information. Needless to say, after speaking with the owner in the next couple of days I do not plan on returning to this location.. I like to support smaller game location rather than the larger retailers such as GameStop, even if the prices are a little more inflated. However, given this circumstance, I would rather drive 15 to 20 minutes out just to get accurate information and good customer service. I do not recommend this store to anyone, and pray that no one else has to go through the frustration that I just experienced... read more
