Both my sister and I collected TY Beanie Babies growing up and each time TY released new beanie babies, we would try and come here to see what they had. The toys were magical to each of us and fortunately our tastes were different enough that the items we wanted did not really overlap. This was great for us and our parents as we did not mix up whose beanie baby was whose. We were appreciative Teri's Toybox had enough different toys we were not forced to get the same ones if we wanted one. We found a treasure trove of other cool items here throughout our childhood as well. More recently, it has become a site of searching for toys for kids of family friends or church care packages. The floorspace has been reduced and the displays are a bit more cramped together than they used to be, though they still have a variety of offerings. The music played can be a little odd for being a children's toy store, though plays a little quieter so it is not so jarring.

The store is super clean, organized, and honestly feels like a little theme park for collectors. Bitty pops cost the same as a regular and you get 4 bitties in one pack. $6.99 for the ones that come with vehicles or just a small figurine. Unfortunately, did not check costs for clothing nor bags/backpacks. Overall, still recommend, but keep in mind of the prices. We found a couple online stores that are selling some of these funkos at a cheaper price.

So, I decided to head to the Everett Mall (I was meeting up with some friends in Everett to game that night), because someone told me about Wishes. I was concerned that it would be a toy store with a few games in the back. No way! This place is Boardgame heavy. In fact, I saw titles and expansions I wouldn't expect to see in any Boardgame store. Dice? Not much of a selection. At all. I wanted a block of 36 D6s from Chessex. They might have had a handful of Chessex polyhedral sets. I was disappointed. But I decided to walk through the boardgane section. Again, Wow! Lots of depth of titles. I think I saw Twilight Imperium from a row away, and I thought, 'Would they have any Cthulhu Wars expansions? Nah, not in a mall, right?' OMG. I was so wrong. I found a shelf practically dedicated to Cthulhu Wars and Dark Souls! I highly recommend Wishes in the Everett Mall! Comics is for everyone…read more I was in the area visiting family and decided I needed to bring a house warming gift. Imagine my surprise when the geek in me spotted this place. I rarely see a comic book shop inside a mall. The last one I saw was at the Kitsap Mall years ago, let alone one as big as this place that doesn't have a game room. Like all the other comic book stores (I know you read those reviews), they sell tee shirts, action figures, models, PoPs, and back issues; not that many back issues from what I can tell. Overall four stars. That have a lot of good things here. Just not five because of stock. Now excuse me, I've got some light reading to do. M

I was looking for Sanrio and Tokidoki merch. It was a limited selection of a few trinkets. However, there were plenty of BTS and LINE friend merchandise. I got cable ties, sticky notes and file folders. This Daiso location caters to more practical items, not so much licensed characters and gifting items. I also feel like the shelves here are short, so it lacks space for extra merchandise on the floor.
