I'm a big fan of Daiso. I go to every single one that I see. I spotted this one across the parking lot from Alderwood Mall and made a beeline towards it. The inside looks smaller than the outside. But that might be because they are very well stocked, which is good. (The biggest store in the area might still be the Crossroads location.) The loot this time (and I really should have taken a group photo but too lazy to re-gather everything now): - Hello Kitty zipper pouch - Hello Kitty finger gripper things - 3 per package - Faux Fur shoe liner - A thin plastic cutting board - pink color! - Hokkaido Red Bean caramels, which are really chewy candy ($2.50) - Caramel corn snacks Every item was $1.50 except one. I didn't have enough time to thoroughly roam this store or I likely would have bought more. Hints: - Every store stock things slightly differently. Always go to every store possible to see the varieties. - Items come and go quickly. Some stay gone forever. Never hesitate to buy something cuz ya never know if it's coming back!

I love Daiso. This location has ample parking + a friendly staff. I've purchased some lovely items for my own usage and great things to send to my niece and nephew. I bought some beautiful Winnie the Pooh washi and really cool Rilakkuma stickers for my postcrossing friends overseas. They sell storage containers, pencil cases, Japanese household items, and much more. There is also no shortage of tasty Japanese snacks like Meiji chocolate bars and nearly every flavour of Hi-Chew! They also have beverages to quench one's thirst. On my last visit I picked up a red bean bun because I was peckish. At first bite, it was STUFFED with red bean paste and it was delicious! Items do move quickly here so if you like something you see, go ahead and buy it. Take care and check its quality (like latches/zippers) because there are NO refunds. Period.

This store is part of a discount chain that offers products from Japan, with most items priced under $5. The place is located across the parking lot of Macy's of Alderwood Mall. The inside is brightly lit and everything is very clean. Note that all sales are final.

This new Daiso has just opened in Lynnwood, right across from the Alderwood Mall on the Macy's side, south of the movie theatre in the little strip mall. I love Daiso and this location is amazing! Tons of stuff for $1-$8 that you can't find in Dollar Tree or other dollar stores, especially art supplies, Asian cooking items, craft supplies, and gardening tools. This location isn't as big as the one in Federal Way, but it's bigger than the one in the Southcenter Mall. Great customer service. Easy parking and lots of it. The only thing about Daiso I would change is their no returns policy. You can exchange items only if they don't work, etc. but no cash back.

Nope, not for me. I went in expecting a dollar store type of store but left feeling like I was at the place where unsellable dollar store items go to die. I went down every isle trying to find something that didn't look like junk, I WANTED to find something, but I didn't see a thing. They did have some interesting noodle bowls that might be good, I'll give them that. So in the end, this store looks like nicely merchandised junk that will be in a landfill near you within weeks of purchase.

In short Looking for bargains is the smart move for anybody…read morewho has the time, and this place has 'em. Only one other shopper here really made me nervous or anything like that. In long Probably most people know the deal with these places. The stock changes all the time--they buy unsold inventory from other businesses and sell it cheap. The layout is super basic, lots of big mismatched shelving units, not a lot of merchandising. You look around, maybe see something you can use, and note the price. They do have some perishables, and some beer and wine. The alcohol selection is super big-brand stuff, but most of the perishables looked healthy enough. Probably need to get eaten soon but that's cool. The shelf-stable stuff and knickknacks are even easier to shop with confidence. We found chips and snacks and candies, some for us, some for family, nice variety, everything usually at least 50% cheaper than what mainstream stores charge. We found a Hello Kitty coffee mug for $5--that's a goofy stocking stuffer now for my sister, and at the price, even if all it gets is a laugh out of her, it's worth it. We found quite a few other things, including several pounds of wagyu ground beef, all for under $70. These days those are screaming deals. I will say that everybody seemed nice, and not everybody looked like they spend every second of their lives on a tight budget. More people said hello and beg your pardon and all that here than at most stores. Friendly. But as we were leaving, that lady in the gigantic fake leopard-skin coat with the wild hair, wrestling with the shopping carts, crashing them around and cursing, well, that played into the stereotype a bit of who shops at places like this. She almost bumped us pretty hard, but now it just seems like some amusing local color.

She ignored me. I asked again, and she said "no. I am stocking the shelves. You will have to wait." Shocked, I let her know there were things I needed that were blocked by the trolley. She bizarrely smiled at me and said, "I'm stocking the shelves, and you'll have to wait." Me: "Why can't you just move this out of the way for a minute? I want to see if I can find what I'm looking for." She then, rudely, said, "No, I am stocking items." I was shocked and let her know I thought she was rude. She loudly replied that I was rude! I asked her for the manager and wasn't surprised when she told me, "I'm the manager. Too bad for you!" I told her again how unprofessional she was, and she again repeated, "You're rude." Then she got in my face - about 10 inches away - again telling me I was "rude." I reminded her that she is not the owner of the store and her employers might want to know how unprofessional and rude she is with customers. She then accused me of "throwing things" around and bizarrely pointed to cameras that had caught my alleged bad behavior. I got stuck between the trolley and the cosmetics wall because she would not move it and there was no space for my feet. I felt as if I might fall, but luckily I didn't. I moved the trolley myself after she refused and finally backed away from me. I was then able to look at the items I wanted without her blocking my access. I purchased a few items so I would have proof that this altercation occurred and that Dollar Tree has an abusive, unprofessional manager in Lynnwood. While paying, the cashier - not shockingly - ignored me! As I left, I reminded her that the employees should be thankful for paying customers, since everyone is aware of shoplifters at Dollar Tree. I got my receipt and left. At home, I filled out the survey on the receipt and gave the store a poor rating. I emailed their customer service team to report my awful shopping experience at the Lynnwood, Washington, store. This was one of the weirdest experiences I've had. If this older white woman truly is the manager, she should be fired immediately for being rude, bizarre, and threatening. I will not go back until the "manager" is fired.

COMPLETELY INEXCUSABLE, whether it was an employee or the employees not stopping someone else in there from doing it. 2) Prior to getting to the side of the store, 4 aisles were blocked by boxes/carts/restocking. Again, TOTALLY INEXCUSABLE. This was, what, 1/4 of the aisles being inaccessible mid day on a Sunday? Do you want your customers to be be able to shop, or not? I'm guessing either your corporate policies (that allow this) are trash or the employees at the store were not following a sensible policy that would dictate when and how to stock shelves so customers can still access things. Either way, I am not visiting again.

What makes it so incredible is, the exact same fridge at Costco, also delivered, installed and old fridge hauled away, was $400 more. I got a 33" wide fridge, 26 cf bottom freezer with ice--for $1100. At Costco it was $1500. Incredible savings. Appliances 4 Less is a "scratch and dent" store that also gets returns of undamaged appliances, that's what I got. I took some time and looked around while Rouchen Zhang (Store Manager) was finishing up the sale before me. I was shocked at the low prices. When it was my turn, Rouchen explained that their store averages 40% below retail, and that was certainly my experience. Costco is cheaper than retail also, and Appliances 4 Less was substantially less than Costco! After my purchase, the delivery was scheduled 3 days out. I got a call that morning and the delivery people were on time. They hauled away the old fridge and installed the new one. They left me instructions because the refrigerant got jostled around and needed to settle, so they made sure I don't plug it too soon. If you're in the market for a new appliance, give the Lynnwood Store a call. You really can't beat the prices. As I was calling around, I found out the Tukwila Store charges EXTRA for delivery, installation and haul away ?!?! so your experience may vary if you're not at the Lynnwood Store.

I love HomeGoods and shop at many of their locations often. I was at H-mart across the street and was delighted to see a HomeGoods across the street. I decided to go in but quickly regretted it. One of the first problems with this location is that they are overrun with inventory. This isn't a large store, so I don't know why they have so much stuff. There isn't enough space in the store to display it all in a safe and neat manner. I used to work retail many moons ago, so seeing unpacked boxes hanging out on the floor, as well as a wall of unpacked cardboard boxes in the lighting section, tells me that their back storage area must also be full. There were also about 5-6 tables outside of the store with tons of stuff on them, all clearance that they were trying to get rid of. The store looks sloppy and unprofessional. It's like the manager and the staff just to give a damn. The shelves are also a mess and the merchandise was sloppily hanging on the shelves. There was one aisle that had pillows on the floor. There were so many that they were blocking the way. You couldn't get through without stepping on them or tripping. Are they trying to get sued??? Honestly, there was just shit everywhere in and out of boxes. Even if this was just a bad and busy day, I will never come back. The location in Queen Anne on Armory is much nicer and better run. If you want a nice shopping experience where you aren't at risk of injury due to store items on the floor, don't shop here.

Well over that 20-year time period I can probably count on one hand how many times I walked out of there with something worthwhile. For one thing the store is always in a fair amount of disarray. The racks are overcrowded. Too many items where they just have one or two things and it's really hard to find what you want in your size. A lot of stuff on the floor and if you do find something you love you have to wonder if it was stepped on or rolled over by a cart at some point. The prices probably are more reasonable if you do find something but you really got to dig. The thing that really burns my hide is the line. It's been long often in the past but it could be worthwhile if you found something. This most recent time I went the line was ridiculous. I would guess there was 35 or 40 people in line and three cashiers. The people were lined up all the way to the dressing room. I expect this if I go in Ross or the Goodwill. Not Nordstrom rack. Never again. I purchased a few items at the Alderwood Mall Lynnwood Store on 4/6/24 and paid with a gift card I had received. Was chatting with the gal behind the counter about the weather we were having. Left store and got home and my gift card was missing. I know it still had a balance, and was bummed that I didn't get it back. I totally figured that probably someone else would use it and thought it was lost. I decided to go to the mall on 5/2/24 and checked with a few ladies behind the counter and they referred me to the manager on duty. I had my original receipt with the gift card used and its remaining balance on it. She left the counter and went in the back, and several minutes later came back with my gift card! I was so pleasantly shocked! I was impressed that there were honest employees working there! Thank you so much, it wasn't the balance amount, but the fact that I received it back! This speaks volumes about management and training and customer service and satisfaction! You are all the best!!

What happened to Zara? This would be an in depth thesis question!…read more I used to shop in Europe and Zara was the IT clothing spot for fancy, classy, and timeless staples. Made in Italy, Spain and Portugal the clothing was well tailored and fit a 32/30 general male physique. When Zara opened in Vancouver it was more boutique like and slightly pricier and the quality was good. This was before COS and other European brands making their way to the States. I shopped at Zara during the latter half of 2010 - 2018 quite regularly and the website was eye catching, the blazers on sale were $39, and the quality was good. You could still find made in Europe clothing and the production seemed to transition to Bangladesh, Vietnam and other countries. As of late, the quality before pandemic is garbage. The clothing unravels after hanging it in a rack, the fabric is cheap, and the material appears to be of the lowest quality. The Westlake and Bellevue locations appear like outlets with rejected clothing from 5 seasons ago and little change with new or updated fashion. It's like a European Ross evoking a European douche bag at the club with skinny jeans, frayed pants, Zara shirt and cologne. Staff are still pretty snooty and don't often help. Maybe one staff will but it's rare. They seem too busy folding clothing that isn't selling. Really sad.
