First time visiting this store and it had everything! Great selection of toys and games. They had a large variety of board games, puzzles, kid toys, and more! We were impressed they sold miniatures and paint. We will definitely be back to purchase more games and kid toys. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a gift or board game night. Wow. Who would have thought there'd be a decent Boardgame store in a mall? I haven't been in a mall in years. But I wanted a set of Chessex dice. So, I decided to head to the Everett Mall (I was meeting up with some friends in Everett to game that night), because someone told me about Wishes. I was concerned that it would be a toy store with a few games in the back. No way! This place is Boardgame heavy. In fact, I saw titles and expansions I wouldn't expect to see in any Boardgame store. Dice? Not much of a selection. At all. I wanted a block of 36 D6s from Chessex. They might have had a handful of Chessex polyhedral sets. I was disappointed. But I decided to walk through the boardgane section. Again, Wow! Lots of depth of titles. I think I saw Twilight Imperium from a row away, and I thought, 'Would they have any Cthulhu Wars expansions? Nah, not in a mall, right?' OMG. I was so wrong. I found a shelf practically dedicated to Cthulhu Wars and Dark Souls! I highly recommend Wishes in the Everett Mall! The two employees I met (Zack and John?) were both friendly and helpful. I ended up buying a Cthulhu Wars expansion - The Sleeper. I still can't believe they had it in stock. read more

This is one of my favorite spots to shop for my niece and nephews. There's tons of really cool, quality toys to choose from as well as a nice selection of books and games. It's located towards the end of one of stretches of the mall so I could see it being easy to miss, but it is absolutely worth stopping in. If you're looking for well crafted toys or educational sets beyond what your typical chain stocks this is a great little store. There's lots of traditional wooden toys, puzzles, and interesting crafts for imaginative play. Not only are there lots of options for gifts, the board game selection is great for adults too. That's the only downside I can think of, while I'll intend to buy a few toys for gifts I'll also leave with 3-4 games for myself as well. read more

I've shopped there a couple of times over the years and have always had a positive experience. The shop is delineated down the middle with stuff geared towards kids on one side and adults on the other. Mostly it's board games and puzzles with a few books in the mix every once in a while. The staff are great. They greet everyone they see and if you are just browsing they leave you alone, but will happily help out if you need it. read more

This is a seriously underrated toy store. They've got something for everyone, but what I really love is the simple quality toys. Not just a bunch of glittery plastic. Support your local brick and mortar store and shop here instead of Amazon. read more

I totally thought this place had closed when some of the newer anchor stores opened in the mall. Was glad to discover otherwise. This is just a cute little toy/bookstore. It doesn't have the biggest selection, but it has some unique toys and many are educational or geared toward pretend play and thoughtful play. It also has a lot of things kids can touch and play with. Keep in mind that since it's a smaller store, prices may be a bit higher, but they still have many reasonably-priced options. read more

Regular customer. They have a spot in the back to literally hangout and play games, such as magic and board games. Just got told to leave because the area was not a hangout spot. Confused? What a fabulous find! This toystore stands in sharp contrast to the Toys R Us across the street which is like a Costco full of cheap plastic junk. The store is spacious with high quality items that you can be proud to purchase as gifts for your child, his/her friends, and all the little people who make you smile. Their is a huge board game section, arts and crafts selection (think Mellissa and Doug), baby toys, dress up costumes, science kits, and so much more. The best part is that the sales people are super helpful and knowledgeable. Not sure what to buy for little Jimmy? Just describe his interests and age and they can take you right to the perfect gift! Very cute store - book, puzzles, toys, card games, plushies, and board games. They don't have the best selection but they do have a wide variety of items for sale. The staff is kind and helpful. Been looking for a local store with great, non-Toys R us board games. Had a great experience at Wishes with the owner who spent 30+ minutes explaining different games, inquiring about my likes and dislikes and eventually helping me make a great selection. Met owner's wife the previous weekend at their Burlington Mall store. Great family run business. Keep your money local, shop at Wishes at Everett Mall, Burlington Mall, and soon to come Alderwood Mall. read more

I went here today for the first time and was treated pretty badly. My boyfriend pulled a huge bear off a shelf we wanted to buy for our new baby. It was $200 so we decided against it. The tall shelf it was on was pretty skinny but very tall, after putting the bear back it fell off the other side of the shelf (we were already in another part of the store) the man working got VERY upset at us. He then informed us how we needed to be more care because it's $200. Then proceeded to go to the back room for a ladder to put it back making sure he slammed every door on the way. Then he made us wait to checkout 15 minutes while he made sure the bear was perfect. We did apologize numerous times but he continued to give us a hard time and be rude! I'd never go back. read more
