For the most part, prices are as good as you're going to find online plus they have almost anything you could want as far as ground vehicles go. Called the store on the day of a pre-release trading card game launch to inquire if they were…read moreselling product. The employees had no idea what I was talking about and asked me where I had heard that there was a launch that day. I responded that other local game stores were selling the product and that the publisher had noted that that was the release day for local game stores. After confirming that this set had in fact been released, they then told me that they would not be selling product until two days later at their launch event. On the day of the launch event, I arrived to find out that the employees did not even know if there was a launch event happening or know where the product was at all, or if they could even sell it. After determining that there would be an event that day they still were not sure if they would be able to sell it to us or with the price would be and chose a price that was higher than other product from the same trading card game. This was all after calling ahead to confirm these things and then traveling over an hour and a half to the store since there are not many local game stores where I live. Overall, when asking questions it felt like I was bothering the employees and that it was my fault that they didn't know the answers to my questions and it was an inconvenience that we had even asked. This is in sharp contrast to other local game stores in the area who will always look to find the answer to a question if they don't know the answer. Past experiences at Geek Fortress have been a little unorganized, but nothing like the most recent one. I will not be coming back.

Some North middle school parents accidentally parked in Broadway Hobbies parking lot (which is right next door to the North school parking lot). The parking lot was almost completely empty - except for the few poor souls headed to North who mistakenly parked there. Within 30 minutes, the property owner had called to have the cars towed and at least five tow cars were there towing poor parents' cars. What a jerk! Way to ruin the afternoon of neighborhood families that made an innocent mistake.

Dice? Not much of a selection. At all. I wanted a block of 36 D6s from Chessex. They might have had a handful of Chessex polyhedral sets. I was disappointed. But I decided to walk through the boardgane section. Again, Wow! Lots of depth of titles. I think I saw Twilight Imperium from a row away, and I thought, 'Would they have any Cthulhu Wars expansions? Nah, not in a mall, right?' OMG. I was so wrong. I found a shelf practically dedicated to Cthulhu Wars and Dark Souls! I highly recommend Wishes in the Everett Mall! The two employees I met (Zack and John?) were both friendly and helpful. I ended up buying a Cthulhu Wars expansion - The Sleeper. I still can't believe they had it in stock.

Two out of the last three years I either couldn't make it very early or couldn't make it at all for Free Comic Book Day. The Staff suggested I send a Facebook message listing the titles I really wanted and they would try and set aside copies, and they did both years. I traded in a short box of comics for store credit. Realized of course that they couldn't give me retail value before doing it, but still got more than I was expecting. The amount of titles they stock from large, small and medium publishers alike is impressive. They have fulfilled several special orders I've requested. The Game Room for RPG, card games, etc. is spacious and inviting. Feel pretty fortunate to have this store in my area.
