I love to go to Michael's because I paint rocks and paintings and gift cards and this place has it all thank you people are going to love their rocks for their yard. Went to this store on 10/5 and had been here before but not for several years. The staff were super friendly, helpful and one went way out of her way to help me. The store was very clean and organized. Some shelves were in need of more items, but they obviously were on top of putting inventory out. Came in to buy supplies to make holiday cards. Found a lot of items that I liked, from paper to washi. I have chronic pain and while at the self-check out stand, an employee noticed and brought me a chair. They also helped me finish checking out and said I could leave the cart by my car, they would bring it in. Coupons always on the app, in the store and via their ads. You can also sign-up for coupons and sales via email. read more

Wish I could give 0 star to this Location because even one star is too much to give. ASHLEY the customer person at this location was the most rude customer person I have ever seen just now that I had t come and write a review as soon as I left the store. She literally was giving me an attitude that they cant refund me the full price because I don't have my receipt even-though I had my credit card that I purchased the item with. The people at Michael's stores say I can only get my discount on a phone, but not by showing my card...So no more money changing hands with them. Shopped with them for 20+years. Two clerks were very pleasant and helpful but another large girl with dark wavy hair in a ponytail, wearing glasses seemed determined that I was up to no good. She followed me about, called someone who I suppose was a manager then followed me again and the man she had called came to ask if I was finding everything ok. Why didn't she just simply ask and offer to help instead of lurking around like I was a thief. I won't be spending my dollars there again to support her wages. Pretty much your typical Michael's: it's stuffed to the ceiling with crafty things, packed on shelves in rather narrow aisles. You could totally get lost in here, and not in the good way...the only hope you have to find anything is either to ask one of the nice employees for help, or to just wander around the store enough that eventually you start to figure it out, although you'll get stuck a lot behind people who are blocking the aisles while they ponder the merits of different glitters or polymer clays or doll parts or whatever. The selection of craft stuff is superior to Jo-Ann Fabrics but a step or two behind Hobby Lobby, but for the most part Michael's is likely to have what you need. When you're at checkout, give them your email address with caution: you will be besieged with (or is it "besieged by"?) emails with coupons for 10,000% off everything ever. read more

This Michaels is continually refreshed with new seasonal items and well stocked. It's always clean and the employees are nice too. It's not the largest craft store in the area, but it's your best choice if you're avoiding less ethical options. If you're looking for knitting, floral, scrapbooking, or jewelry supplies there is a great selection in each department. The event decoration and general craft selections are fairly good too. I do wish that there was more stock for traditional arts and baking though but there are still interesting finds beyond the basics. However, this location does not seem to have a sewing department with fabric. There are some sewing findings throughout other departments but I don't recall seeing enough to justify stopping by if you need something for anything past small needlework. read more

I am an avid paper crafter and I can always find what I need and some stuff that I don't need or never knew I needed. This store is clean, well lit and the staff is nice. After driving to 3 different Michaels stores for different things, I called this location in desperate need of 1 past item that was sold out at Kirkland, Bellevue, and Lynnwood. I asked what I could do to ensure the purchase because my gps said I would arrive 5min before they closed. The women was nothing but rude and unhelpful. Begrudgingly putting them on hold and saying don't bother to come if I'm cutting it that close. Well, I'm driving there now to hopefully get my items and her name. Woman in framing extremely rude and refuses to help customers. She was very annoyed that I asked for assistance while she was talking about non related work weekend activities with a co worker. I explained if she didn't want to do her job just say so and I proceeded to look for items myself. I happened to circle back around the store looking for items I couldn't find and she was still in the same exact position laughing and talking with another coworker. read more

If you have a simple picture print that needs to be cut down to size to put into a frame don't bother showing up to this location because they only say that they have a mat cutter not an art cutter or whatever the hell that means. Maybe you should hire employees that realize that you can also cut picture from printing on a mat cutter is well they're both just different forms of paper one thick one thin, this machine can cut thick matted style cut then why couldn't it cut a simple printed picture? read more

My favorite place for handmade supplies and craft ideas. This store has a great team that knows everything, they're talkative and helpful, so kind stuff. At this Michaels store you'll find a great stock of beads, that are precisely arranged by color and size. Also a lot of packaging supplies and gifts wrapping, bows, ribbons and boxes. read more

I was so happy I stopped in here instead of Hobby Lobby. I was making end of season gifts for my players (25 of them) and it can get pricy making crafts. Thankfully or school colors are Halloween colors, and all of their Halloween stuff was 70%off!! I was able to get ribbons, and filler, paper, paint pens, and all kinds of extras. I even got a giant cookie tray for only $4.25 for my daughter that bakes! There was so much to choose from, Christmas stuff on sale, tons of variety. The employees were available, helpful, it was a great experience in the store!! I'm not a Hobby Lobby fan....but I'm a fan of Michael's now. I don't know why I had in my head they were pricy, or didn't have a big variety....because that is far from the truth. I do wish they sold material...but I will be back for sure!! read more

I'm not much of a crafts person, so I came here this morning needing help. Walked in just as the store opened and was immediately greeted. They pointed me in the direction of what I was looking for (large picture/poster frames) and I found them just where they said. Two employees were by the frames having a pretty entertaining conversation (yes, I ease-dropped), but they stopped as soon as I came up and asked to help me. "Yes please!" One of them walked me through what I was looking for, showed me what she thought would work, and off I went. I framed up the pictures at our office and they look great, just in time to show them off to some potential clients. Will definitely be back here in the future. read more

I placed an order today for curbside pickup, and the email that I was sent said call the store when you arrive, pull up front and open trunk and the employee will place the order in your trunk. Like the previous reviewer for yesterday I was directed to someone else. When she answered I said who I was and that I was there for my curbside pickup. She then tells me the store is open and to just come in and get it. I told her I placed the order for curbside. She again tells me I know but the store is open, I then had to tell her my little boy is in the car and I do not have his mask with me. She then tells me to pull up and she'll bring it out. She comes out with the item in the cart and just stands by the front door so I got out of my car and said thank you and she just looked at me, no your welcome or anything. I'm sorry but if your store offers curbside pick up, don't be so annoyed everytime someone places an order. read more

When I arrived today to pick up my item I called the number for curbside pickup. The first employee I spoke to was kind and helpful. She told me to park next to the curb and she would connect me to someone to give my order details. When the second employee came on the phone I told her I was there for curbside pick up and she told me the store was open. I responded I know the store is open but I want to do curbside pick up. She said I'm all the way In the back it will take me awhile to get to the front. I said okay that's fine but she already clicked on me. I guess I was parked near the wrong door because I saw her in my rear view mirror outside by the other door flagging me with my item. So I reversed to where she was. I parked and had my ID ready. As I looked at her she held up my item and then placed it on the ground and went inside. I haven't used curbside pick up before at michaels but it felt really off to me. This is your typical Michaels store. On my visit, the location was VERY messy and felt 100% unorganized. There was product and trash on the floor throughout the entire visit and not once did I see a staff member with a smile, or even positive body language, present. The staff appeared to care less about the store, and boy did it show. I would recommend making the extra trip distance and shop at the new Hobby Lobby in Lynnwood for a much better shopping experience. Michaels, this store is truly a disaspointment to your company. The Manager on Duty, Ali, needs some training. I was disappointed in her choice not to help a customer in line. I realize this location was short staffed, but Ali pulled 2 customers (me and another lady) out of a long line to help the one cashier open. As soon as my few items were rang up, Ali left to answer a manager call in the back instead of helping the next guest. That guest had to go back to the original line she was pulled from with several guests ahead of her. At that moment there wasn't anything more important than that guest. Ali's Manager call could have waited another minute. read more

I have an Erte' print that I bought over 30 years ago. It's heavy and it fell off the wall more then 20 years ago and the glass broke. Michaels cleaned it for me and replaced the glass in less then 24 hours and it looks almost brand new. I love it- well done Michael's! read more

Would not recommend getting anything framed here. After getting a print framed it was very disappointing considering how much you pay and wait to have this done. I was expecting perfection. Far from it. After bringing my picture home not only was the framed scuffed in various places the print was not framed correctly unless you like the rippled effect. After seeing what they call framing I will not bring it back there to be fixed instead will go somewhere else. read more

I love Michael's. I love all the crafting options, the fun things that I really don't need, but buy anyway because they are so cute. Washi-Tape. Stamps. Message Boxes. Embellishments. Ribbon. Cupcake Supplies... it's endless! I typically shop this location as it is the most convenient, located across from Macy's at the Everett Mall. They don't always have everything I am looking for, but they are way better than some other places. Many things are often on clearance so I can get some great steals. The staff seem knowledgeable about whats in their store and where to look if they don't have it. The space isn't too cluttered at this location and it pretty well organized (unlike other locations) for the amount of stuff in stock. Michael's is a number one stop if you are a novice baker, scrapbooker, or otherwise crafter. read more

All the fine folks at this place are always extremely eager to help, especially Abby! She is so fantastic and is not just there as an employee, she takes ownership as if she owns the whole damn company. She's extremely helpful and sweet. Even though I came in super late and had very little time to actually purchase what I wanted she treated me as well as I could imagine anyone being treated. In the employed world there are two types of people, servants (those who do what they have to when they have to because they have to, minimum of which is required) and stewards (those who go above and beyond without even having to think about it intentionally. Once the ones that take ownership and responsibility and discover a customers issue so that they could deliver the solution effectively, responding only and never reacting. It is clear that the latter of these two categories is the one Abby falls into. Thank you so much you guys! P.S. actually, I just realize that not everyone at the store has treated me as well as I was treated today, but because of my experience today alone I will still give the whole store five stars thanks to Abby. The store is Very Large and a wide selection of arts and crafts at a good price but their customer service is very lacking. I waited in line behind someone ringing up individual scrap book pages and the woman had at least 60 pages. so the register next to me was taking people in front of me so I walked over and the reguster says closed....so i figured she was pulling from my line. then all of a sudden she starts taking people that were behind me and when i said something she didnt even acknowledge me. The customer in her line apologized but it wasn't the customers fault. I just had to leave my things because A. I had to pick my kids up from school and B. I don't give my money to stores whose workers don't speak to me or acknowledge my business. read more

Since this Michael's location is convenient, I stop by frequently to pick up supplies. The selection always leaves more to be desired. There are never workers nearby, though I rarely need them anyway. Check lanes are always slow Last time I was there, with a line of customers, but checkouts were held up by one person. Since I was in a hurry, I left and haven't went back. I'm happy there are other options close by. I will do all I can to avoid this location from now on. Next time I will drive the distance to Lynnwood, which is typically much cleaner, well organized and has a better selection of items, or simply pick a different chain. read more
