I have been shopping here since I was in my 20's when I did not have too much to spend and now that I'm in my 40's and have more to spend, I still shop at Burkett's. I have consistently been treated very well here since the first time I wandered in and purchased a trench coat off the sale rack. I enjoy shopping here because the owner takes pride in the items and brands she carries as well as the way the customers are treated. I never feel pressured to buy. The employees have come to know me and are helpful in recommending items that I might like and, at times gently nudging me to try new things. The selection feels like going to Nordstrom but better because I've noticed that they carry brands that may be new to most because you may not see them at a large brick and mortar department store. Plenty of women owned and ethical brands to discover. The owner expanded into the shop to the left of the original store with gifts and mens clothing. Since she has, I've been able to find gifts for the people in my life for any given occasion. Baby showers, Father's Day, birthdays, holidays...you name it! Give it a try and I bet you will find something new to bring home or gift to someone you care about. read more

I have lived in Everett for 13 years. I finally went into this clothing store before leaving for a European vacation. Tina was so helpful helping me choose outfits for easy travel and comfort. I made a rather large purchase. Each piece of clothing was perfect for me and I felt very comfortable dressing a little out of my comfort zone. I returned back to Burkett's Savvy Clothing and newly opened Gift Store next to her clothing business. I was so happy to see her selection of household gifts. I loved the store very much and made a few purchases for upcoming celebrations. I have met the owner, Holly, and hope she continues to be a successful business owner in Everett. Love this store. Always feel welcome. Owner has great taste and prices are very good for high quality cloths, shoes, jewelry, perfume. Love the sales too. Fun shop to catch up with a friend, spend an hour shopping, and then have coffee or lunch near by. Everett just keeps getting better and better! read more

What an awful store. Good luck finding clothing above a size 12. And no matter how many times you tell the saleswoman you don't wear black, she will bring you only black clothes because if you're a size 16, she thinks you're revolting and should be in constant mourning. read more

My, oh my! What a lovely store and sales lady Sherri. I was in a browsing mood and will definitely go back when I can. The clothing was top notch, no big bargains but then again, it was all well made, creative looking and I was mightily impressed. Sherri told me about some of the lines Burkett's carries, when I inquired. She knew what the store had and enthusiastically mentioned some very nice go-togethers. What a wonderful shop! Holly and her team are absolutely the best at making customers feel welcome and helping with whatever their needs are. I have found that I don't need to go anywhere else for 95% of my clothing needs (wants!). Holly carries a great selection and is always changing things to keep up with current trends. She is so appreciative of her customers and she shows it by offering fashion shows, special events, special sales or discounts and personal advice. Holly and her staff are quick to know what you like or would look good on you and waste no time making recommendations. It's hard to go in the boutique and not leave there with something in hand. The other thing I love about the boutique is that the majority of the items she carries are designed and manufactured in the US. This place is an absolute gem! read more

I just happened to stop into the shop on my way to do errands yesterday very impressed with the quality of clothing and very impressed with the shop owner I would highly recommend the shop not only for yourself but also for your loved ones and acquaintances very friendly very helpful very patient just a really nice shop she also carried a small amount of her line of European clothes my daughter is small like a 5 and she has just lovely things in there for that size I believe that the sizes when all the way up to extra large. read more

Burketts is a little piece of heaven, nothing short of a delightful place to shop! From the ever-changing unique clothing selection to the friendliest staff I've ever come across. There are so many different brands of clothing to choose from, many which you will find nowhere else so you are certain to be wearing great quality clothes no one else will have. Each piece of clothing is chosen carefully by the owner, Holly, who like the rest of the staff take the time to know your name and style after just your first visit. I can walk into the store, and Holly will direct me to pieces she thinks have the specific details I am looking for. More often than not these pieces she directs me to are the exact ones I end up purchasing! The inventory changes so rapidly, there are new items daily. Spend a month without going to the boutique and practically the entire store is filled with clothing you haven't seen before. They have special sales and fashion events throughout the year. A friend recently insisted I visit Burkett's. I hadn't bought clothes in many years having had two pregnancies in the past four years, and having lost some weight post partum I was looking very dowdy in my oversized, old, outdated clothes. What a gem Burkett's is! Just about everything I looked at I liked, and I walked away with 11 new pieces including skirts, shirts, jackets, and a dress. I had thought that perhaps the clothes at Burkett's would be a little old for me, but no, not at all! There is definitely something for all age groups, shapes, and sizes. The staff were lovely and very knowledgeable about fabrics, cuts, and trends. They quickly ascertained what things may suit me, and kept bringing pieces to the dressing room. They gently encouraged me to try on things I would never have chosen myself, and they were right - most of the pieces looked fabulous. I've had so many unsolicited, favorable comments about my new clothes - something that has never happened in my life. They also have a tailor they can recommend who does a beautiful job on alterations. For quality, style, and customer service, Burkett's stands alone. read more
