Rudest sales staff ever, in the store, in emails. I've consigned clothes and bought clothes there but no more. my last experience put me over the edge. I've had at least 4 negative experiences, including with the owner so no more. I'd rather shop at Nordstrom or Goodwill and turn my unwanted clothes to a charity. I'm not sure what there problem is there but they are not nice people. read more

Came in about a year or so after my last review. I bought a couple of sweaters. While they were a nice unique style they were only SLIGHTLY cheaper than what a sweater would be brand new. I've picked up some very neat items from this store over the years and they have served me well. However, I feel that my style has evolved and no longer fits the style of this store.... I don't have much experience with consignment stores, but every time I pass Anchor Chic I've wanted to go in. The window displays and decor are really well done. I finally got the chance to pop in, and I wasn't disappointed. There were items in a good variety of sizes, the merchandising was great, the pricing was fair with good quality items, and most importantly (in my opinion) it felt good. The store feels peaceful, organized, and relaxed. Browsing was wonderful. This is boutique consignment. If you're interested in ethical fashion, want something a bit different, are frustrated by the low quality clothing churned out these days, want to go green, or just want to save some money, this is a great place to try out! Much of what I saw was unworn or like new. The owner clearly does a great job. My one suggestion would be to separate out the XS sizes from the S sizes. There were tags marking off the various sizes, but it's a bit of work figuring out where XS ends and S begins. I know it sounds ridiculous, but there are plenty of stores these days that don't carry XS, so just seeing the tag would be reassuring that Anchor Chic's got you covered. Probably less feasible would be a petites section, but a girl can dream. I'm so looking forward to going back and bringing some items home! read more

I have been consigning and shopping at Anchor Chic since they opened and always have a great experience! They seem to have found the perfect balance between fair pricing for great condition designer items without being overpriced. As a consigner, I am happy with the return but it also works for me as a shopper. Their taste suits all ages, and the quality is fantastic. One of my main go-to spots in the Edmonds bowl! read more

Great consignment store! A must see if you are ever passing thru Edmonds. Great deals. Very reasonable pricing. Very organized. Easy to find my size on the different racks. I appreciate that the clearance items are separated from the regular racks. My only wish would be for a little bench or table in the dressing rooms for my purse, glasses, etc. There are hooks but I fill them up with all the hangers of everything I've fallen in love with : ) read more

This is THE BEST consignment store in the north end for both shopping and consigning - and who doesn't want to visit Edmonds?! Owner Elizabeth Le is a gem! She was a professional stylist prior to opening this terrific store and offers her experienced clothing wisdom when you ask. She's always kind, filled with laughter and sincere. She's never pushy, never tries to *sell* you what you do not love, but readily available to help you find and purchase what you do love. One additional point about Anchor Chic's owner: she is actively involved in the Edmonds community, reaching out and collaborating with other downtown businesses to keep Edmonds friendly, support local organizations and invite everyone to fully enjoy Edmonds. read more

Wow! Another great shopping trip at Anchor Chic Consignment! This is my 2nd trip and I have scored both times. Liz, the owner, carefully curates the items sold in the store and prices are reasonable, both for the consigner and for the shopper. I have consigned some items there and the process is professional and transparent. As soon as an item is sold, the system sends you an email to tell you which item sold, how much it was sold for and how much you will get. As far as my purchases, some highlights: mint condition Prada bag (!), Coach bag, Ray Ban aviator sunglasses, Tracy Reese leather paneled skirt, Paige plaid shirt, J Crew flannel shirt and sweater. The location is perfect - right in downtown Edmonds and I have found on street parking on each trip. read more

This consignment store is an absolute gem! Liz doesn't an excellent job selecting styles and items for her customers. I consign here but I also love to shop here too. The layout is easy to navigate and displays are pleasing to the eye. Prices are very reasonable. It's a fun place to visit and, since the inventory changes often, it's worth going back to again and again. read more

Had to share my excitement. The items I consigned all sold within a month. How awesome is that? I brought in a few more items yesterday and hoping for the best. I will say that I got a quote on one of the items from another consigner that would have given me more cash than a sale at Anchor Chic would give me. But I still choose to go with Anchor Chic because Liz is so dang nice to work with. She never pushes a higher selling price to put more cash in both our pockets. Her honesty and openness to negotiation are refreshing. Liz is also very friendly. It feels good to walk through the door and being greeted like an old friend. These things matter to me, especially when most of my human "contact" is via texts and emails. Keep up the great work, Liz! read more

When Liz and Sheila explained their idea for a consignment clothing store in Edmonds, I was curious, but a little concerned as to how it would be accepted in this (mostly) upscale community. Their enthusiasm sold me, though , so in my role as commercial real estate broker for City Closers Real Estate, I went into the market to find a location suitable to their product concept (and their budget). After an exhaustive search, I found a store location for them ln downtown Edmonds, in a building that was originally built to house the U. S. Post Office. The site perfectly fitted their concept for their new store, and they were off! And what a start! They have created a smart, clean, simple well designed store, with excellent clothing offered at very reasonable prices. And, their personable approach to each and every person - be they customers, brokers, neighbors, whomever - is one of their most endearing qualities. Most importantly, their store is full of high quality clothing and accessories at prices within reach of most any potential customer. While I am admittedly not one of their customer base, still, if I want to buy something for a special woman in my life, I will be sure to go to Anchor Chic first, and I strongly recommend that you do so as well. read more

Where do I even start? This place is amazing!!! I'm new to the consigning world and I'm sure glad my first real consignment experience was in this shop! This is no platos closet people. The shop itself is really cute, rustic, industrial, welcoming and organized. I easily made an appointment online, brought my stuff in and left it for them to go through. When I came back to pick things up I was surprised to see she had taken practically all of my items ranging from forever 21 to Marc Jacobs. The items they didn't take were either not in the right season or had minor stains or flaws. The pricing was fair to both the seller and the buyer and they emailed me a detailed list of all my items and prices. I signed up to be emailed anytime an item sold and it was always a fun little surprise to get emails and feel involved in the process. I just picked up my check after the 60 days my items were for sale and was pleasantly surprised at the amount! The owner Liz is so great and friendly! Pop in and check this place out. read more
