All second hand items, occasionally they'll have steep seasonal discounts or other special deals

This is a cute, home style little thrift store that seems to feature collectibles. The workers are always helpful and friendly and the shop is pretty clean and well kept. They do take donations but seemed to be a little overwhelmed with stock last time I asked about it. I gave a bag of clothes which seemed ok but it could help to ask if they're accepting what you're donating before bringing it all in.

Too crowded. Picked over merchandise. They are online now and have a furniture location. Lost its "coolness ".

They accept a wide variety of items for donation, and have expanded to a furniture showroom close to the train tracks.

We used to really like Bella's Voice and shopped there regularly after moving to Lynnwood in 2024…read more We have spent close to $3,000. That changed with one visit which occurred a month ago. Look at the photos for the condition of a rug they sold. At the Shoreline store, I purchased a rug that was tightly rolled and sealed with tape, so there was no way to inspect it at the store. When I got it home and opened it, it was in unacceptable condition: heavily stained, paint marks, and a strong cigarette odor. This is not an item that should have been on the sales floor. I brought it back within a week with the tag attached and receipt in hand. The manager Leonora did not start by looking at the condition. Instead, she went straight to finding reasons to deny the return. First saying there was no tag (there was), then saying they don't accept returns on "furniture." At no point did she engage with the actual issue. When I tried to show her why I was returning it, another employee inserted herself and escalated the interaction. I did raise my voice out of frustration (my voice carries) but I made no threats and was trying to explain a legitimate issue. Rather than hearing the concern or working toward a solution, the situation escalated quickly. The manager told me to leave or the police would be called for CRIMINALLY TRESSPASSING, and that is exactly what happened. Police were called over a return. I tried to de-escalate and offered reasonable solutions (exchange or completing my purchase), but the manager declined and stayed focused on denying the return and calling the police to have us removed for CRIMINAL TRESSPASSING! Even the responding officer looked at the rug and attempted to find an amicable resolution. My daughter, who was not involved in the interaction, was also threatened with trespass, which was upsetting and unnecessary. This should have been straightforward customer service: 1. The item was not in acceptable condition and the condition was against their own donation policy. 2. It was packaged in a way that prevented inspection 3. A reasonable review could have resolved it Instead, it escalated into a situation involving publicly funded law enforcement over a defective item. As a nonprofit serving the community, I would expect a greater emphasis on resolving issues directly rather than relying on public resources to shut down a legitimate concern. For a place called Bella's Voice, it was surprising how quickly the conversation was shut down. The executive director has chosen to ignore my formal complaint. Photos are attached so others can judge the condition for themselves.

I believe all proceeds also go to animal welfare, so this place is a win-win. Store & Selection: (5/5) Upon entering, it's definitely smaller than most thrift stores I've gone to, especially compared to big names like Value Village and Goodwill. Do not let that turn you off! The selection here is AMAZING and I love how the racks are organized by size and color. I think I've walked out with an armful of stuff each time I've gone. Service: (5/5) Everyone here is really nice and they make checking out very quick. Other notes: Not sure exactly how their discount system works and how often it changes, but all their stuff is tagged by color for a corresponding discount. This place is definitely cheaper than other thrift stores, which is great if you're in a pinch.

Three full round racks of jeans (that's what I was looking for) plus some on the end of a few square racks. Sizes aren't easily identified so you have go through them all to find what you want. Overall a successful trip and will return if I need a cheap item! The jeans I got were $6.61! Yay! Also they're only open weekdays so that's a thing to work around.

There are tons of…read morepeople who full on run, sprint and power walk (which is not walking) upon the doors opening each morning at 9am sharp. The managers say to everyone "please do not run, walk only, be kind to others, blah blah blah" yet the stand there at the door and the registers and let them do what thy just loudly asked them NOT to do. I don't understand how anyone runs in this establishment. There are no emergency situations like earthquakes, power outages or fires that warrant running at any time of being in the store. People are going to get hurt! One of these people is a young college child, his name is John. He runs every day to get to the piles of music cd's on the shelves so he can find the high dollar ones to re-sell on ebay and amazon. He used to be a high school track star and has almost twice fallen down taking a corner too sharp. Yet the managers don't say a word to him to slow down, or kick him out for 5 or 7 days like they do to others in the store who constantly are always pushing, shoving others, or being rude and obnoxious. This young child John, 2 days ago as I went to grab some cd's came right across my whole hand and knocked them out of my hand and tried to pick them up as if to steal them from me! I told him to back off and if he ever touches me again that I would put him on the ground as self defense. He rudely badmouthed me and told me "too bad so sad". The very next day, he did it again but this time he tried to take the 4 cd's I had just grabbed to look at right out of my hands! I bit my tongue, but on my way out I pulled aside one of the managers who I thought would listen and try to do something about. He told me the next day (today) there would be a manager at the front door to confront and talk to him as he entered as well as another manager in the back to make sure he wasn't bothering others. Well neither thing happened and this knucklehead just sprinted in the store again and right by the manager 5 feet from the cd's and she didn't say anything to him or the others who were on a full on running sprint marathon to pick the aisles clean of the new items put out overnight. Korenna and Ingrid are the only female managers at this store. Barry, Nate, Joe and Joel are the male managers. Joe is quite honestly the only one who listens to customer complaints and sticks to what he says. This review along with another letter is going to be written to the LDS Mormon President as well as the Washington State Labor & Industries department.

It's right on the waterfront, on a pretty stretch of beach where you can see the ferries coming in and out. My hubs and I went to the EWC last night to see wildlife photographer and author Paul Bannick speak about his new book on woodpeckers in North America. It was a fascinating talk and slideshow in their big room on the first floor! This is just one example of the great speakers and performers that the EWC hosts all the time. They have rooms with beautiful views of the water that you can rent. Last December, we went to a memorial there for a longtime family friend and it was a great place to honor her and her legacy. It's a very large store, but it feels very DIY/shabby inside. Items haphazardly thrown up on found shelving, not retail shelving, or anything like that. Kind of like a vintage mall booth. The employees I interacted with were meh. Not outright rude, but not very friendly either. One of them rushed over to me from across the store to admonish me for "stepping over that line" between items for sale and items not-ready for sale. I had not touched one item in the area at all. It was weird. I didn't even realize that area was for processing, because my brain just goes into "look at everything" mode when I'm thrifting, and in 99.9% of thrift stores, the actual selling floor is not used for processing. They weren't mean about it, just had a very elevated sense of urgency that I not touch anything in that area. I apologized and they seemed to back off a little. Like I said, it was weird. I did find a couple glass decor items to purchase and their prices seemed fair. I didn't look at clothes, but shoes and bags were slim pickings the day I was in there. I might check it out again in the future, but there was nothing about it that made me feel like I wanted to come back. Kind of a bummer. Maybe after they've been open longer, they might get more of a sense of organization. In the mean time, I will continue to shop Deseret and Bella's Voice.
