    Sweater covered in pads
    Jess J.

Wow. Came in and found a sweater covered in menstrual pads. Turned the corner to see a woman changing her baby's diaper on the seating in the shoe department. Avoid this place and don't sit on anything.

Just some of the puzzles and games.

Goodwill Edmonds is well designed to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere while shopping. Greeters, cashiers, and workers in general have been friendly and respectful in my experience. The layout is easy to navigate and well marked, making it easy to find what one is looking for. When my mom and I came here most recently on Friday 24 July 2020 much of the parking lot was taped off to accommodate long lines of people coming to drop off donations from their cars. We had to wear a face mask in the store (COVID-19 related). While parking was a bit hectic Friday the upside of more donations is more stuff to look through! We came looking for puzzles and the selection of puzzles to choose from was far more expansive than when we came searching for puzzles during the winter this past year (2020). Great selection and puzzles were still in good condition. Ended up saving ourselves about $15-20 a puzzle box too! I have come here looking for various things over the years, puzzles are just my current fixation. The expanse of books and DVDs is also impressive.

Lots of barely used second hand items

A really nice goodwill! The people there are helpful, the selection is nice (it's in rather a posh neighborhood so you can make some good finds!) and there's plenty of space inside to browse. The prices can be higher than you may expect elsewhere especially if you look through the fashion focus black tag section in the front of the store. Parking can be a little wild as it shares space with a number of other popular businesses. I'd say give it a shot! Never know what you'll find!

jeans i'm wearing are from Goodwill Edmonds!

WAY too expensive at a store where every single item is donated to them. The owner is worth billions. Disgraceful.

Your clay pots are over priced by 70%. Also the quality of picture frames is poor. Your flower pot prices are retail prices.

It's right on the waterfront, on a pretty stretch of beach where you can see the ferries coming in and out. Formerly the South County Senior Center, then the Edmonds Senior Center, the buildings there were rebuilt into an environmentally-sound, multi-generational and multicultural center with all kinds of classes, programs, clinics, and events. My hubs and I went to the EWC last night to see wildlife photographer and author Paul Bannick speak about his new book on woodpeckers in North America. It was a fascinating talk and slideshow in their big room on the first floor! This is just one example of the great speakers and performers that the EWC hosts all the time. They have rooms with beautiful views of the water that you can rent. Last December, we went to a memorial there for a longtime family friend and it was a great place to honor her and her legacy. When I am retired, or when I can carve out more time in my schedule, I plan on taking advantage of the many classes offered at the EWC. For now, I'll keep going to their terrific events and enjoying the wonderful view.

My lovely brother, Tony bought him an expensive walker. Its a wonderful walker, however designed for a man much larger and more weight than my father. Being a former ergonomic consultant, I could tell that this walker was not suitable for my father. He could care less about my opinion. He just didn't like the expensive walker. I came over to visit him and he requested that I take him here. So we came here, in search of a walker. They are open limited hours, until 3 pm, so my father had not been able to come here before 3 pm. As you walk in, you have a plethora of medical devices available. Wheelchairs, crutches, walkers and every type of medical device one might need. Now the staff is all volunteer. No one is paid to work here. I know in my experience , a walker needs to be individualized. A walker needs to meet the physical requirements of the person using it. Fortunately, we had the services of Mike, a volunteer. He measured every walker and showed the results to my rather stubborn father. There was an excellent walker that met my father's requirements, but he disliked the seat. He would have rarely sat in the seat, but I held my tongue as to my opinion. So, he chose another version. Mike recommend larger rubber tires for my father, as he would use the walker outside. He also adjusted the height of the handlebars, to better suit my father. We spent about two hours, trying out a variety of walkers. My father ended up with a pristine condition walker. Easily collapsible. For 45.00 dollars. Plus, for every purchase you got a variety of personal care items for free. A great experience here. My frugal father was quite pleased with the price he paid. Fortunately, this walker is also collapsable, to reduce space In their tiny retirement home space. Overall, excellent customer service and a great price. They also offer a one week return policy and adjustments, if you are not satisfied. Love the experience here.

Had mother in laws scooter quit working. Called them on a Wednesday. Very nice girl answered and we spoke. She said yes, bring it in, no problem. I arrived and she again was very nice. She brought out a guy. He also was very nice. Tagged it and gave me a claim ticket. Simply called in on Friday just to check in. Got completely chewed out by a very rude lady. She wanted to know why I would bring in a scooter for repair. We don't do that ! She went on and on and was a real bit** about it. Then a guy got on the phone and was also not very nice, but not as bad as the rude lady. I just went and picked it back up. Hey, I called and asked. I was told to bring it in, why would you talk to me like that two days later ? Simply rude. The first girl and guy very nice on phone and in person. The guy and lady on Friday need new jobs if they hate working there. Just rude. What EXACTLY did I do wrong lady ? In my mind, it's pretty simple, if you didn't want to work on it or if you don't work on them, simply just tell me that when I called on the phone instead of saying, sure no problem bring it in and we'll look at it for you.
