Great bargains. Housewares are new. Such a clean store it looks like a Ross or Target store.

It's not the biggest store, in fact might be one of the smaller ones, and it feels just as organized any other. The store in the morning felt clean, but the selection isn't has stocked as other stores like Ballard, which always feel overpacked. I usually find something worth buying, something small or handy, but I couldn't today. read more

Decent thrift store, some goodies to be found. As most goodwills, some of their prices were absolutely obsurdly overpriced. But I did see some things pricewise that fell through the overpriced cracks. They wanted $59 for a tiny power supply that was $50 on amazon, cmon man. read more

The manager at the Edmonds Goodwill is unwelcoming and rude to customers, which makes shopping here an unpleasant experience. The staff members are friendly and helpful, but the current manager at the Edmonds store creates a negative atmosphere. Additionally, Goodwill's prices have become so high that shoppers can often find better deals at stores like TJ Maxx or Marshalls -- both of which offer a 30-day return policy and store credit after that period. In contrast, Goodwill only allows returns within 7 days for store credit, which feels very limiting given the rising prices. With these higher prices and stricter return policies, Goodwill management should focus on improving customer relations, not discouraging loyal shoppers. My friends and I will not be returning to this location as long as the current manager remains in charge. read more

Clothing prices are significantly more expensive at this location than other Goodwill locations. I have see Hillary Radley (sold at costco) business casual shirts priced double the current Costco price. It feels unethical to price second hand cloths which might be used for job interviews above retail. To be clear, this is not a luxury brand, these are Costco specials. They retail for $10 - $15 new and are priced $10 - $20 at this location. read more

My father and stepmother love this place. When I visit, they request I take them here to shop. More a favorite of Nancy than my father. She is 93, like my father. She has a lifelong discount, which she loves using here. My father and Nancy are both living now in a retirement home. However, Nancy requests I take her her for shopping. She loves spending and extended time here, looking over all the variety of goods offered here. She especially enjoys the seasonal merchandise. My father and Nancy really do not have a place to put new things in their very small accommodations. But, she loves shopping and buying things here. My father chooses to stay in the car. So, it is my responsibility for about an hour to shadow Nancy and praise her purchases. There is usually a wide selection of clothing, appliances and household goods here. All in good shape. Staff is helpful at assisting customers and answe any questions. A higher level thrift store. Many high quality items. Our last visit, she was able to get about ten items. After her discount, she paid about 6.00 dollars. This delighted her immensely. Kudos to my father, for indulging her in her purchases and the useless buying of unnecessary items. read more

I've been t a few goodwill locations and none of them have been more desperate to not take a donation than this place. At least 70% of the time I come to drop off stuff they aren't accepting donations. The staff are normally cool at best, if not down right rude. read more

Good grief! I used to be able to get a few items here at a lower price than new but whoever's doing their pricing these days is just out of their mind. I just saw a craft stamping tool for $26.99. I think they might be looking at eBay for odd items as a pricing guide. If you're a manager or an employee and you're reading this here's a little tip. Don't just look for what it's selling for on eBay, filter by sold items. Just because some nut job is selling the the entire set for $100 on eBay doesn't mean the portion of the set that you're trying to sell is worth $26. I can get a brand new stamping tool for almost the same amount on Amazon and it's fully returnable. When checking pricing on eBay you need to sort by sold items to see what it should be sold for. And remember that on eBay you can get a full cash refund, not the case of Goodwill. That lack of cash refund should be factored into the price. So many times I see craft items that are from the dollar store, for $2.99 at Goodwill (and half the time the package is opened). People, know what things are selling for and don't get ripped off by these scammers! Yeah I've gotten some cool items from Goodwill, recalling the purchase of my solid walnut Kittinger bench for $25 a few years back but these people are out of their mind now. read more

Spent my day gathering stuff for a Goodwill drop off. When I arrived they refused to take the first two items: a wood stool in excellent condition and a hepa air filter in good condition..I put them back in my car to take the entire car load to a different Goodwill instead of having them cherry pick the load, then reload my car, and the supervisor started yelling at me. I'm trying to donate good items to support them and the guy yells at me because I would rather have one place take it all than go through my car and have them cherry pick! I went to the Lynnwood one instead where they were grateful to take a car load if great resale items, and they took it all. Will never donate to the Edmonds Goodwill again. read more

We love this Goodwill. Anytime we need something for the babies that they will just outgrow I say let's go to this Goodwill in Edmonds. We joke that it's the 'rich people Goodwill' because everything is in such good condition. And all the baby clothes and all the kids toys are nearly new. I mean it's a goodwill so you have to really look through things but this particular location does a really really good job. The store is clean. Very organized. Very tidy. People are so friendly. I can't believe we got so many great things that practically new for so cheap. read more

This Goodwill store has a few pluses, but many more minoses. What is most troubling is that the people in charge do not care either way! I know, most amazing, but true! Years ago, shopping Goodwill was fun and enjoyable. No longer. The main cause of the decline seems to be apathy within the management on down. So, Goodwill, if you don't care than neither do I! Goodwill Edmonds is well designed to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere while shopping. Greeters, cashiers, and workers in general have been friendly and respectful in my experience. The layout is easy to navigate and well marked, making it easy to find what one is looking for. When my mom and I came here most recently on Friday 24 July 2020 much of the parking lot was taped off to accommodate long lines of people coming to drop off donations from their cars. We had to wear a face mask in the store (COVID-19 related). While parking was a bit hectic Friday the upside of more donations is more stuff to look through! We came looking for puzzles and the selection of puzzles to choose from was far more expansive than when we came searching for puzzles during the winter this past year (2020). Great selection and puzzles were still in good condition. Ended up saving ourselves about $15-20 a puzzle box too! I have come here looking for various things over the years, puzzles are just my current fixation. The expanse of books and DVDs is also impressive. read more

A really nice goodwill! The people there are helpful, the selection is nice (it's in rather a posh neighborhood so you can make some good finds!) and there's plenty of space inside to browse. The prices can be higher than you may expect elsewhere especially if you look through the fashion focus black tag section in the front of the store. Parking can be a little wild as it shares space with a number of other popular businesses. I'd say give it a shot! Never know what you'll find! read more

By far the worse goodwill in the area. I usually just shop the hard goods area and it was a royal mess the shelves so close together it was inpossible for two people to pass each other. Things stacked so high you could not see what they had for sale. And just forget getting a bargain prices higher than home goods for used chipped and cracked items that were dirty to boot. So I came here for an interview. Went to the register to let them know I was there for my interview and cashier says ok I'll let the manager know as soon as I'm finished with this customer. I watched her finish up and still not grab her walkie talkie to let them know I am as there. So I waited a few more minutes before another employee came up to me and asked if I'd been helped. Let them know I was there for my interview and he grabbed the cashier's walkie and let her know. So first flaw is your cashier cannot multi task and just went on like she had forgot within 2 minutes. Had my interview and Donna seemed really excited to hire me and she'll call me about when I can start. This was almost 3 months ago now. I called every week to check in and every time she said she'd know more next week. This went on for about 6 weeks. I saw another ad for them hiring so reapplied and then called Donna. She said she had no information about them hiring. So the store manager is clueless, corporate clearly doesn't communicate. And the employees are unprofessional and under qualified with customer service skills. Many times when I call there is no phone etiquette whatsoever. Really disappointed as I am more than qualified to work here and really need a job. I also contacted corporate and received no call or email back. read more

The store has a smell, the clothes are really expensive for junk and donations. The cashiers smell and clothes are nasty, they are all older white men, and I understand but they need to shower and be presentable. They need to keep hand sanitizers at the checkout stations. The clothes stink and are not clean at least the ones that I have seen. The stuffed toys should be cheaper since you have to really clean those. read more

This Goodwill in Edmonds is the bomb! I'm going to be coming back here all the time! Roaming around Edmonds yesterday with the BF, and I said I wanted to check this place out. Turned out to be a goldmine of treasures! This Goodwill sells *NEW* items! I've never seen that in a Goodwill or any other thrift store in my life. They were selling brand new gardening items, home decor, toiletries and personal items. I've never seen such a good selection of home goods before. I found two matching 4' black iron candlesticks that I have wanted for years that sell for $100+ each - bought for $8 each! Also found a really cool candlestick for $4, a storage box for $1, a great Seattle art sign for $8 and an end table of solid oak for $10. There is a lot of high quality items being donated here! Found, but didn't buy since warm weather approaches, two long rows of silk, linen and velvet scarves. The jewelry case was overflowing with costume and semiprecious items. Saw several pieces of crystal and high quality, including some name brand, kitchen appliances. Every thrift store has a ton of used books. They sell all the CDs for $3 which is too much for a used CD, especially since DI and other thrift stores sell them for $1. The front of the store had antiques, copper, china, leather guitar cases and other higher priced items. Cashier was friendly and fast. We will be back! read more

My frequent stop to drop off some accumulated nonsense I've been hoarding around my house but also my frequent stop for fairly used or decent finds of anything copper to add to my collections (someone will say hoarding-bad!) but whatever! (When am I gonna enjoy the little things I enjoy doing?) Perhaps, When I can no longer walk or confused? I'm really enjoying the small things even just to watch what others interests are or buying by coming here. Anyway, digressing there for a sec (Dory...) I like the staff here. They are all helpful and friendly. Don't mind the old garage smell or whatever you think it may be. You'll get used to it within the first 3 mins. of walking around. Tee hee... Patience is the name of the game if you are particularly looking for something particular. So, partake! Great prices and what?? They have discounts being announced while you shop or people-watch. Green tags today were 50% off. R ju kidding? I didn't buy any of the green tags tho womp womp... I had fun looking around and of course, people-watched while they do their thing and unknowingly being watched by muah! Observant, I am! Stop by and check it out when you are in the area. Absolutely pathetic donation center. The store itself is fine, similar to any other goodwill - a bit overpriced on some things, but whatever. That's Edmonds in 2021 for you. The donation center on the other hand... Boy howdy. It's bad. They're almost never open. You'd think for a business that's dependent on donations, they would want to actually receive items, right? As I'm writing this, it's my third attempt coming in the middle of the day during business hours to find the donation center closed. Prior to my most recent trip (why I'm writing this review), I actually called the night before and confirmed their hours - They open at 10 am on Sundays, and their donation center will be open at 10 as well. I had a few errands to run, so I roll into the lot at 11:55 am - and their donation center is closed. I don't know who's to blame but I'd be willing to bet it's the management - problems like this don't come from a few lazy employees like most business try to place the blame on. I'm just glad I'm moving across the country in 2 days so I never have to deal with this hellhole of a location again. read more

Don't try donating during business hours. Go to another location. The jokers in the receiving area seem to close whenever they feel like it. I'm sure the deals inside are good, but the donation center part makes me not want to shop there. Hopefully they figure it out someday. read more

If this was a review just for the donation center, it would be one star. I have no problems with the actual store portion of the Goodwill, which is why I'm giving a 3 star review. I came in at 10 am. Online it says the donation center opens at 10 am. When I got there, there were sandwich boards proclaiming it was open at 10 am. But it wasn't open. I was told to come back at 10:30 am, and that they'd be open then. I left for a half hour. When I came back at 10:30, they still weren't open. A few people parked near the donation area and left their donations anyway. When I tried to do the same thing, someone came at me driving a forklift, yelling that I was making it hard for them to do their job. Almost getting speared with a forklift was not on my bingo card for this morning. Anyway: this is a chronic problem at this donation center. They're seldom open and actually accepting donations during their designated hours. I'm going to look for somewhere else to take items for donation, and I would suggest if you're looking for a place to donate items, don't do it here. I wasted gas going out there, and these days, that's not a small thing. read more

I tried again just to see if they would have the donations open at 1:40pm on a Tuesday. The donation drop off had the closed sign up again but there were several workers outside so I asked where I should put my carload of donations and he pointed to the front door and said to put it in the bin. The bin wasn't outside but inside the door so I basically had to put my bags of donations in the exact same type of bin, inside the store but couldn't use the donation drop off with exactly the same type of bins... read more

I have been wishing for a Goodwill to be located between the Shoreline and Lynnwood stores and finally this is true. The Edmonds Goodwill opened recently and I found myself here for two reasons: It's shiny and new. It's got Glitter Sale items. Both were in full effect. I took a cruise around and their stock (particularly housewares and accessories) isn't quite up to where I prefer, but I imagine over time they will be at a level for prime thrifting. I left with a green peacoat for $5 and a pair of NWT Nordstrom yoga pants for $10. Thanks! In the meanwhile, I totally appreciate this convenient location. I have been donating to the goodwill for years. Even back when they begged for donations. I am so disappointed with the way they run the donation portion of this business. I have tried numerous times to donate and this last experience is the last time. I went the other day and when I got there at 1:00 in the afternoon they had coned of the entrance saying a truck was coming and they would be back open in an hour. This was discerning but I waited to come back in an hour. When I did they again had the entrance cones off and said the manager told them to close due to too much donations. I told them I had been there already and waited to come back and now they wouldn't take my stuff. They just said sorry. I came back the following morning at 9:00 as the attendee told me and it was coned off again. The person there said they weren't opening till 10:00. This is the 3rd time! I will come back at 10:00 today because I have stuff in my car already, but this is it. From now on I will throw my donations in the trash. I am not saving things to waste my time coming here repeatedly and being turned away. Obviously the goodwill does not need my items as they have so much that now they don't care. Sad.... read more

I am giving this specific location a bad review because of the donation drive-thru lane....the customers going into that usually have near-misses with customers trying to get into taco bell. Out of the numerous times I've gone to try to eat at Taco Bell, I'm met with an entitled, rude goodwill customer trying to get into their drive thru and thus clogging up the driveway to taco bell and the connecting edmonds way. Just today I literally had 2 near misses with customers in this fashion. One on the way in, one on the way out (that may have been trying to use that Taco Bell parking lot to flip around)....she literally blocked me in and I wasn't able to leave Taco Bell. Goodwill doesnt need that entrance, it needs to be blocked off by a cement barrier because of all of these rude drivers and near misses! read more

The prices at GW Edmonds run a little higher than other GW's, but you do find nicer things overall. From clothing to furniture and soaps, Edmonds has nicer versions and more name brands on a daily basis compared to other GW's in my opinion. The staff is always friendly and the guys in the back are helpful in getting g your furniture in the car. read more

This is a pretty small location, I find that the prices are a tad higher than other locations. I was able to score a really pretty dress by Tory Burch from this location. The employees are very kind and pleasant. The layout is pretty good being a smaller store and you can navigate it pretty quickly. read more

I haven't bought too many things from here, but I still like going because it's a convenient stop when I go to QFC (and of course I move my car from the Goodwill parking lot to the Westgate Shopping Center lot *every* time. *Wink"). It's very organized and the people who work there are usually friendly. I don't feel it's ever as busy as other locations. I do think it's smaller than other locations, though. But small isn't a bad thing. As someone who has to tote a 50 lb bag on one arm and a 25 lb kid on the other, it makes it easier for me when it comes to time. I think the best thing I've bought from here was a Lulemelon bag for $9.99 that originally retailed for $65. Then, today, I bought a Green Toy for $1.29! Score! If it looked or felt anything like the Capitol Hill location, it would be 5-stars. But 4 is pretty decent. read more
